Efekt teploty vody během zotavení studenou vodou na opakovaný izometrický výkon / Effect of water temperature during cold water immersion on repeated isometric performance

Krupková, Dominika January 2018 (has links)
Title: Effect of water temperature during cold water immersion on repeated isometric performance Objectives: The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of water temperature on recovery using repeated isometric performance of finger flexors to exhaustion Methods: The study was attended by a group of climbers consisting of 16 men (aged 30.8 ± 7.2 years) and 18 women (aged 26.7 ± 4.5 years). Participants came 3 times in the laboratory, where repeated intermittent isometric performance until exhaustion with different recovery strategy (passive recovery, immersion of forearm to 8ř C water - CWI 8, immersion of forearm to 15ř C water - CWI 15) were completed Results: The results were evaluated according time of contraction and force- time-integral (FTI). After passive recovery, the second time of contraction dropped by ↓ 9% and the third contraction by 20% compared to the first one. In response to cold water (CWI), after CWI 8 second time of contraction increased by ↑ 32% and CWI 15 by ↑ 36% compared to the first one. The third time of contraction was worse for CWI 8 by ↓ 4%, and CWI 15 was better by ↑ 26% compared to the first contraction. Conclusion: Cold water immersion is an effective recovery method between intermittent isometric performance compared to passive recovery strategy. CWI 15 is more...

Vliv únavy na kvalitu života onkologických pacientů / Influence of fatigue on quality of life of oncological patients

NĚMCOVÁ, Věra January 2007 (has links)
Finally, the result from my study shows, that fatigue is a big enemy from the oncology patient. It influences their personal and social life and their quality of life. Therefore it is necessary to wrestle with fatigue using all relevant facilities.

Využití akustické emise pro monitorování leteckých konstrukcí / Using Acoustic Emission for aircraft structure monitoring

Krasavin, Taras January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the theoretical and practical part of the phenomenon of acoustic emission. The thesis examined the theoretical foundations of this phenomenon and also described the equipment that was used in the laboratory of VUT in Brno to perform measurements. Then measurements and their analysis were described. Several possible errors that occurred during the work on the thesis were also described. Error description is the basis for error-free laboratory testing and for improving the quality of laboratory testing.

Popis únavového chování UFG Ti pro biomedicínské aplikace / Fatigue properties of UFG Ti for biomedicine applications

Dobeš, Ondřej January 2019 (has links)
Titanium is thanks to its high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility widely used in medicine. Ti alloys are used due to their superior mechanical properties instead of pure Ti for load carrying components. Ti alloys are often alloyed with elements which are toxic for human body and further increase cost of Ti products. Main focus of current development is to create pure Ti with better mechanical properties. It can be done by reducing grain size by processes based on severe plastic deformation. The aim of this work is to evaluate fatigue properties as well as fatigue crack initiation and propagation mechanism of Ti grade 2 with the ultrafine grained structure. After microstructure analysis, fatigue tests with symmetrical loading were executed. Fracture surfaces of ultrafine grained Ti grade 2 were observed after fatigue tests for identification of failure mechanism. Results were compared with those for course-grained Ti grade 2.

Opravy vysokopevnostních ocelí pomocí technologie studené kinetizace / Repairs of high-strength steels using Cold Spray technology

Krvač, Matěj January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis takes into account the possibility of repairing high-strength steels using coldspray method. The theoretical part is focused on the coldspray method, austenite transformation, bainitic steels and Rmat contact fatigue tests. In the experimental part evaluate the hardness, the structure of the supplied substrate. The hardness, adhesion and porosity of the test sprays are ranked. Furthermore, tests for contact fatigue are evaluated. Finally, the results of the experiments are summarized and measures are proposed to improve adhesion, or to continue this issue.

Modernizace zkušebních stanic R-mat / Modernization of R-mat test stations

Papaj, Lukáš January 2021 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to reconstruct obsolete R-mat test stations, which are used for rolling contact fatigue tests of material, which are still of interest from industry. It was necessary to replace the original control electronics with a new industrial computer to allow use modern sensors and automate the entire test process. At the same time, the measurement was supplemented by an acoustic emission method, which can also record the development of damage. Design modifications have been made that allow the installation of all new sensors. The main method for evaluating the tests is vibrodiagnostics, which is supplemented by the acoustic emission method. With the help of several experiments, the shortcomings of the new control system were identified, some parameters were designed, and the main functionality of the modernized R-mat station was verified. According to the proposed parameters and the identified shortcomings, the control system was modified, and a script was created, which is used to evaluate the test. It is still possible to perform rolling contact fatigue tests of the material on the modernized equipment, and thanks to the modernization of the electronics, it is possible to test completely new methods of test evaluation.

Hodnocení únavy pomocí elektrookulografie / Fatigue evaluation using electrooculography

Němcová, Andrea January 2014 (has links)
The master´s thesis deals with fatigue evaluation in electrooculography records (EOG). The theoretical part focuses on electrooculography itself, fatigue and methods used for fatigue detection from EOG. The practical part includes a plan of optimal methodology for fatigue evaluation using EOG. The EOG signals are recorded during the volunteers are watching prepared scenes. Those scenes are desribed here. There is also definition of signal processing methods with relevant block diagrams. Laboratory protocol describing EOG signals recording using Biopac data acquisition system is included. Ten volunteers were measured according to this protocol and the signal database was created. In brief questionnaire volunteers were supposed to evaluate fatigue and discomfort of the measurment. Recorded signals were processed and acquired parameters were statistically evaluated. Then the parameters were discussed in terms of fatigue detection ability. On the basis of that software application was created. This application detects fatigue in selected signal. The thesis includes detailed laboratory manual for students.

Využití techniky orientovaných fólií v TEM / Application of Technique of Oriented Foils in TEM

Buček, Petr January 2009 (has links)
The master’s thesis is focused on the application of the technique of oriented foils in transmission electron microscopy. Dislocation structures were identified by this technique in both phases of polycrystalline austenitic-ferritic stainless steel SAF 2507 formed during low cycle fatigue at two plastic strain amplitudes ap. In individual grains the stress axis and the Schmid factors of active slip systems were determined. In austenitic grains, the planar structures were determined at both ap. In ferritic grains, the dislocation arrangement was different for the two observed ap. Individual screw dislocations and pile-up´s of edge dislocations were found at low ap = 1x10-4. Mixture of vein and wall dislocation structures were formed at high ap = 2x10-3. Observed dislocation structures were discussed in relation with the cyclic plastic response of the duplex stainless steel.
