Právní nástroje energetické účinnosti / Legal instruments of energy efficiency

Kudlík, Leoš January 2019 (has links)
Legal instruments of energy efficiency Abstract and key words The diploma thesis deals with energy efficiency as a unique source of energy. The subject of this thesis is to specify key legal instruments of energy efficiency, i.e. conceptual, administrative and economical instruments. The diploma thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introductory chapter, being called Energy Policy, there is a brief outline of the background of energy politics on both the international and EU level, including environmental protection. This introductory chapter also ranks the Czech Republic among countries with high energy performance. Energy efficiency is the opportunity to lower its energy performance. The second chapter, Legal Instruments of Energy Efficiency, defines legal instruments of energy efficiency as a part of environmental protection. This chapter is a general one; the instruments are concretized in the following chapters. In addition, this chapter focuses on the principle of sustainable development, as well as issues related to human factor, climate conditions and rebound effect. The third chapter, called Conceptual Instruments, provides further information relating to conceptual strategies of energy efficiency. For the EU conceptions, key directives are mentioned to regulate energy efficiency, namely the...

Šetří letní čas energii? Důkaz z České republiky / Does Daylight Saving Time Save Energy? Evidence from the Czech Republic

Častorálová, Lucie January 2019 (has links)
A b s tra c t The recent discussion of the European Parliam ent, member states, and citizens triggered the question whether there is s till a need for bi-annual clock shifting from the perspective of energy savings. Employing the difference-in-differences method on hourly data on electricity consumption between 2006 and 2017, the study con cludes th a t daylight saving tim e policy reduces aggregate electricity consumption by 0.35 % in the Czech Republic. Moreover, daylight saving tim e leads to 1% savings on domestic residential electricity consumption. Overall, daylight saving tim e increases electricity consumption in the morning, bu t decreases electricity consumption in the evening by greater amount. We have estimated th a t more than 65 % of to ta l electricity savings attributable to daylight saving tim e arose from effect of the daylight saving tim e on residential electricity consumption. 1

Nízkoenergetické stavby ako zdroj úspory energie / Low-energy buildings as a source of energy savings

Smoleňová, Daniela January 2009 (has links)
The issue of low energy construction is currently actual and often discussed topic. The main reason is continuously increasing consumption and price of energy. Additionally, projections show this trend is not going to rapidly change in the upcoming years. The construction of buildings in low energy standard should become one of the most significant sources in energy savings in European Union for the upcoming period. Low energy constructions in contrast with standard constructions are distinguished not only because of low energy consumption and lower operating expenses but also for its favorable impact on the environment. The main purpose of this thesis will be the assessment of economical effectiveness of current low energy constructions and underline the importance of energy saving constructions by using LCA method as one of the possibilities in increasing the quality of environment.

Financování úspor energie v ČR v porovnání s vybranými programy v zahraničí / Energy saving financing in the CR in comparison with selected programs abroad

Svobodová, Alena January 2011 (has links)
This master thesis is looking into problems of financing of energy saving arrangements in residential buildings. The paper concentrates on an analysis of all available sources of financing. After a brief characteristic of basic ways of financing, including Czech and foreign models, it introduces closer only a selection of the available programs, grant titles and commercial products. Then the attention is paid to more specific programs and products from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. This paper applies their program parameters to a model object of the residential building and assesses each and every option, using selected economical standards. Based on these parameters, it appraises an economical effectiveness of the investment in individual variations of financing from the point of view of an investor and a state, expressed with the price of a unit saved CO2 emission. By combining both preferential variations of an investor and a state, an optimal variation of financing for the model object is found.

Motivace domácností ke zvýšení úspor energií

Brumovský, Radek January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with consumer behavior on the energy market, namely with household energy consumption. It focuses on identification of motivational factors which influence the consumer to consume less energy and which influence shopping behaviour on this market. In order to identify these factors and explore more data related to energy savings, a combination of qualitative and quantitative research was used. Sample size of the in-depth interviews was 30 householders, sample size of the questionnaire survey was 304 diverse household members. Based on the results and with the help of the fractional goals, a main goal was achieved, which consisted of marketing recommendations for consulting companies that provide energy consulting to increase both quantitative and financial energy savings for their customers.
