This diploma thesis addresses the economic assessment of the methods of heating and combinations of technologies for energy saving. The objective of this work is to assess the economical effectiveness of individual types of sources of heating. It is first necessary to established gross requirements of energy for heating, water heating, and other household operations. Based on this information, suitable sources are determined. Alternative energy sources are other aspects for consideration – controlled ventilation with heat recovery, and photovoltaic cells. The aim of the thesis is to identify which combination of those technologies is the most economically effective for the opted house. This work aims to help the investor in decision making about the technological solution of heating and power purchase. The outcome is a complex evaluation of different options for the assessed house.

This work is focused on the design of the peristaltic pump drive for medical purposes. Its initial goal is closer introduction of peristaltic pumps and stepper motors. Then the design of BLDC motor will be made and the use of this motor will be compared with stepper motor. Design of the BLDC motor will be made using RMxprt. Last but not least simulations of both types of motors for the peristaltic pump will be created in Simplorer. Finally, the program LabVIEW will be introduced and a program for controlling a stepper motor will be created.

The next part is the implementation of specific proposal of the heat source - heat pump ground/water with deep wells and measuring system. This diploma thesis deals with the area of ejectors. In the intoduction, an ejector is classed as an hydraulic machine. There is also an introduction of the principle and application of this machine there. The next part describes two different ways of calculation and there is a suggestion how to get characteristics, that were achieved by calculation in MS Excel, projected. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to confront this mathematical model with the experiment done in school laboratory at Kaplan department of hydraulic machines. The description of this experiment and the evaluation procedure of measured values is described in the final part of this diploma thesis.

The objective of this thesis is the design of an air-water heat pump for heating buildings. The proposed design solution is based on innovative technical concept of a modular system which brings new qualities for the apparatus. One of the major goals of the thesis was to design a versatile system which would replace a wide product range of heat pumps with different heat outputs. The thesis is based on the research part in which an evolution in the field of heat pumps is briefly introduced, followed by the technical and design analysis of present production. The design report contains the description of identified design problems, shows variant design concepts, alternative solutions of parts and details, and finally a detailed description of the definite solution accompanied by a product mock-up in 1:3 scale.
