Hardwarová akcelerace šifrování / Hardware Accelerating of Encryption AlgorithmHradil, David January 2007 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to design a hardware realization of circuit which will implement the AES algorithm. A motivation was to make an acceleration against the classic software encryption. The acceleration is achieved by special designed parts of the circuit, which correspond to particular operations of the AES algorithm. First, there was necessary to design the circuit. In the next step there was a need to describe the designed circuit by the VHDL language. Then the circuit was simulated and synthesized. Due to comparing the circuit with software processing a software implementation was created. Both implementations were created for the FITKit platform. The hardware implementation is made by the FPGA technology and the software implementation is realized in a microcontroller. The result of the thesis is almost one thousandfold acceleration against the classic software encryption.

Softwarová podpora výuky klasické kryptoanalýzy / Software support of education in classical cryptoanalysisFojtová, Lucie January 2010 (has links)
Number of today's modern cipher systems are based on the classical symmetric cipher systems, such as the transposition principle in the DES cipher. Successful analysis and deciphering of these ciphers is therefore underlined by solid knowledge of the elementary cryptanalysis methods. This implies the importance of classical cryptanalysis education -- for better a understanding of the field, using visual means is of utmost importance. The aim of the thesis is to summarize selected cipher methods of the classical cryptanalysis, namely the mono-- and polyalphabetical substitution and transposition route cipher. Along with the theoretical part, ciphering/deciphering software is introduced to be used for educational purposes, particularly a website and a standalone application providing tools for ciphering, analysis and code breaking of the classical cipher based code.

Kryptovirologie / CryptovirologyKubík, Pavel January 2008 (has links)
This thesis is focused on a relatively new branch of computer security called Cryptovirology. It uses cryptography and its principles in conjunction with designing and writing malicious codes (e.g. computer viruses, trojan horses, worms). Techniques such as viral propagation through computer networks, capabilities of current viruses and similar threats are described. Beside cryptography and computer viruses, design of the cryptovirus and methods of a cryptoviral extortion attack along with their related potential are also analyzed below in this paper. As a proof of the concept in the given area of cryptovirology, a demonstrational computer program was written. The program was implemented with the respect to the satisfaction of the essentials set to the cryptovirus.

Softwarová podpora výuky kryptografie / Software support for cryptography educationStančík, Peter January 2008 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis was to study, choose and decribe techniques eligible for cryptography education. A pedagogically appropriate presentation for the selected techniques' principles was to be chosen. Another goal was to create an integrated modular web interface containing a calculator focused on cryptographic operations. The eligibility of techniques was assessed accordingly to the computing processes implied by these techniques and also accordingly to the ability of being presented in an illustrative way. A program simplifying calculations used in symetric and asymetric cryptography was designed and implemented. It disposes of a web interface and one of its parts is focused on steganographic techniques. On the other hand, any pedagogically appropriate presentation interconnecting this program with theoretical findings from this field was not found.

Portál pro podporu výuky kryptografie / Portal for the support of cryptography instructionForman, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
The main goal of this master's thesis is building of web portal for presentation basic cryptography algorithms. Those algorithms would be explained in the theoretical page in the first place. After that, they would be demonstrated by scripts. One part of this project is designing simplified theoretical element for basic impletion portal of information. Next part is creating web portal by one of the free available CMS´s systems. Programming language JAVA would be used as an instrument for creating demonstration scripts. For creating animations will be used the Flash animation tool. Target of formed web portal is creating community of expert public. It would make new articles, scripts and knowledge. This way, the portal would be kept current. The section which would include failure the most widely used algorithms and instructions how to eliminate it will be part of portal.

Bezpečné kryptografické algoritmy / Safe Cryptography AlgorithmsZbránek, Lukáš January 2008 (has links)
In this thesis there is description of cryptographic algorithms. Their properties are being compared, weak and strong points and right usage of particular algorithms. The main topics are safeness of algorithms, their bugs and improvements and difficulty of breaching. As a complement to ciphers there are also hash functions taken in consideration. There are also showed the most common methods of cryptanalysis. As a practical application of described algorithms I analyze systems for secure data transfer SSH and SSL/TLS and demonstrate an attack on SSL connection. In conclusion there is recommendation of safe algorithms for further usage and safe parameters of SSH and SSL/TLS connections.

Odolnost AES proti časovací analýze / AES Tolerance to Timing AnalysisOndruš, Juraj Unknown Date (has links)
This thesis deals with timing analysis of the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). The design of {\em Rijndael\/}, which is the AES algorithm, is described here. For the side channel attacks is necessary to know the principles of the cache memory in CPU and its architecture. In this thesis are involved major security problems of AES which can be used for successful attacks. Several different implementations of AES are discussed too. Several types of timing attaks are also described. According to the experimentations these attacks should be efficient to the most presently used AES implementations. Finally, the results of this work are described, possible countermeasures against this attack and motions for the next research.

Zabezpečení vysokorychlostních komunikačních systémů / Protection of highspeed communication systemsSmékal, David January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with 128–bit AES data encryption and its implementation in FPGA network card using VHDL programming language. The theoretical part explains AES encryption and decryption, its individual steps and operating modes. Further was described the VHDL programming language, development environment Vivado, FPGA network card Combo–80G and configurable framework NetCOPE. The practical part is the implementation of AES–128 in VHDL. A simulation was used to eliminate errors, then the synthesis was performed. These steps were made using Vivado software. Last step of practical part was testing of synthesized firmware on COMBO–80G card. Total of 4 projects were implemented in FPGA card. Two of them were AES encryption and decryption with ECB mode and another two describe the encryption and decryption with CBC mode.

This Thesis deals with analysis of the possiblity of password breakthrough for common compression formats and password extraction from self-extraction archives used for malicious software. Structure of compression programs, ciphers and connection between cipher and archives is described. Common and specialized attacks on archives and ciphers are described. Structure of self-extracting archives and password location is used to create extractor of passwords in self-extracting archives.

Mezi literárními rovinami (próza Umberta Eca a Dana Browna) / Between the literary planes (prose by Umberto Eco and Dan Brown)Blažková, Klára January 2018 (has links)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the analysis of three novels (Il pendolo di Foucault and Numero zero by Umberto Eco and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown) with usage of triadic model of literature. The thesis is based mainly on the concept of triadic model published by Umberto Eco in his study Apocalittici e integrati. The usage of his model is made difficult by the fact that the specific characteristics of the middle literary plane are not defined. Therefore we supplement Eco's concept with several additional studies. We hypothesized that Il pendolo di Foucault, Numero zero and The Da Vinci Code belong to the high, middle and low literary planes respectively. The results of this diploma thesis support our hypothesis. However, it is clear that the classification of Numero zero into the middle literary plane can be a matter of the discussion, while the specific characteristics of this plane are not yet strictly defined. The confirmation or refutation of the above mentioned hypothesis was not the only aim of this study. Additional aim was to focus on the novel which could belong to the middle literary plane and through the comparison with other novels contribute to the delimination of this literary plane. To this end, we found that the novel classified into middle literary plane uses very similar...
