Vývoj zdravotního stavu smrkových porostů se symptomy žloutnutí a možnosti jejich chemické meliorace na Šumavě. / The development of the health condition of spruce stands with yellowing symptoms and their possible chemical amelioration in the Šumava Mts.

Morong, Jindřich January 2016 (has links)
The main aim of this work was to learn about the health condition (foliage and yellowing) the structure and the growth of the spruce forest stands on two research areas at Stožec in the Šumava Mts., one of which area is fertilized by the product SILVAMIX MG and the second area is checking. Yellowing and defoliation of spruce forests in Šumava due to a lack of magnesium were repeatedly noticed in the eighties of the twentieth century. There was an experiment focused on the research reaction of spruce forest application of magnesium fertilizer (SILVAMIX MG NPK) in 1998. Fertilizer was applied manually in the spring of 2000 in the spruce-beech and spruce forest vegetative stage at a dose of 96,5 kg Mg/ha. On the fertilized areas was a significant improvement in the health condition of forest and also a reduction of yellowing. In 2005, yellowing symptoms of Norway spruce (Picea abys) almost disappeared. There is an every year yellowing and defoliation stands on the unfertilized control areas except the year 2006. There was a slight improvement in the health condition of stands in this year. We can say that the application of appropriate fertilizer leads to a significant improvement in the health condition of stands and it helps to their overall stability.

Demonstrační objekt přestavby lesních porostů na ÚP Modrava (NP Šumava) – analýza počátečního stavu / Demonstration object of forest stands conversion in the regional district Modrava (NP Šumava) - analysis of the initial state

Buršíková, Rút January 2016 (has links)
This work establishes demonstration object of close-to-nature management in Šumava National Park. Demonstration object represents habitats of acidophilous beech-spruce forests. Considering that spruce forests occur in unnatural proportion in even-aged monocultures, there has been proposed reconstruction of current forest stands in structurally rich forests. This work analyses initial state of the forest stands and present forestry management, including grazing management which is a necessary step for suitable management proposal. Detail monitoring takes place on specified parts of demonstration object. Six permanent round-shaped plots were established, each of 0,1ha. Three of the plots are localized in 31 years old pole timber stand without any stand tending. Conversion by stabilizing thinning has been started here, using the method of target trees. Thinning focused on stability support, because the forest stands were significantly damaged by grazing. Other three permanent plots are localized in 61 years old tended forest stands. Thinning is recommended in these sites as well to support stability of forest stand and support of future target trees.

Revitalizace vybrané lokality rašeliniště s ukončenou těžbou / Revitalization of selected sites of excavated peat bogs

JANÁK, Bohumil January 2017 (has links)
Roast moorland one of the unique South Bohemian habitats. Currently, these sites are protected by law and they paid great attention to the media and professional - the general public. Local unique biodiversity is linked to hydrological conditions in the area, they live here rare species of animals and unique diverse plant communities. Despite this fact, a large part of the area previously used for peat extraction. These interventions, however, fundamentally not damage the local area and biological processes. That all changed beginning of the industrial peat extraction, where a large part of the territory forcibly drained, and cut down massively damaged by subsequent mining. Drainage of land degradation brought about significant changes in the local flor, faun and peat. After mining was part of the territory of unprofessional revitalized using improper procedures and are non-native plants such as: Giant cage and others. KÖLBL, František January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with literary and film representations of "The King of the Šumava Mountains" and stories which themes are close to this topic (converters, protection of national border). The thesis pursues the interconnection of particular works with their period context and medialization. The attention is also put to the intertextual "communication" within the works themselves and to the relationship between individual characters of "The King of Šumava Mountains" and archetypes of the contemporary world. The emphasis is placed on the analysis of the film (and the novel of the same title) The King of the Šumava Mountains alongside the prose books The Death of the King of the Šumava Mountains and The Return of the King of the Šumava Mountains. The conclusion articulates the same and the different features of individual representations which are often narrowly connected to the time of its inception.

ZAJIŠTĚNÍ BEZPEČNOSTI LIDÍ PŘI MIMOŘÁDNÝCH UDÁLOSTECH NA ÚZEMÍ NÁRODNÍHO PARKU ŠUMAVA / Emergency precautions of human safety within the Šumava National Park

ČASTULÍKOVÁ, Marcela January 2012 (has links)
In my project I addressed the security of the National Park of Šumava in terms of emergencies. The objective of my thesis was to find out how the safety of people is ensured and if the Integrated Rescue System works effectively in case of extraordinary events in this area. When processing my work I have to reach final values upon which I would propose higher efficiency of activities in National Park of Šumava, based on that I processed the model of operating range of Integrated Rescue System units in the National Park. Furthermore, the method by which I came to the result of work consisted of data collection and their evaluation. National Park Šumava is large and rugged territory, and has its own specifics and differences in dealing with emergencies. In my work I have proposed measures to ensure security for the various bodies of the Integrated Rescue System, in terms of different spheres of security. The issue of safety and security of residents and visitors have been partially addressed by the Administration of the National Park Šumava, but the activities of the Integrated Rescue System is currently still not effective. In the proposals I have discussed adding activities in the Integrated Rescue Systems and measures that would from my perspective more effectively improved the quality of Integrated Rescue System activities and thereby to achieve better security of visitors and other people in the park. The results of my work will be used for more effective work of Fire Protection Business Units of National Park and Protected Landscape Area and for suggestions for further changes in security in the National Park.

Koncepční nástroje územního plánování a jejich specifika ve zvláště chráněných územích Šumavy / Conceptual tools of spatial planning and its specifics in specially protected areas in Šumava

Komárek, Matěj January 2020 (has links)
Conceptual tools of spatial planning and its specifics in specially protected areas in Šumava The thesis concerns with the relation between nature and landscape protection and spatial planning in Šumava. In Šumava we find Czech biggest national park and the whole area is protected with some other territorial protection tools of landscape and nature. Simultaneously we find in Šumava a large number of villages some of them located in the most strictly protected areas. In 2017 an amendment to the act no. 114/1992 Coll., on nature and landscape protection, was approved. The thesis was created at the turn of 2019 and 2020 when some territorial protection tools, such as quiet zones in national park, national park management plans and national parks zoning systems were redefined based on the 2017 amendment. This amendment has changed significantly the protection tools of landscape and nature and strengthen its role in the national parks. The mayors of municipalities were outright against the amendment and argued that as a result of this amendment the development of the villages would be limited. The thesis concerns with specifics of conceptual tools of spatial planning in Šumava, i. e. how the villages are limited in its territorial development by the existence of specially protected areas, also...

Vyjednávání limitů - limity vyjednávání. Případová studie sítě aktérů ovlivňujících podmínky splouvání Teplé Vltavy na území NP Šumava / Negotiation of the limits - limits of the negotiation. Case study of the actor network influencing the conditions of Tepla Vltava preservation (NP Šumava)

Endrštová, Veronika January 2011 (has links)
In my graduation thesis I have considered how the nature protection is being negotiated and legitimated within the case of canoeing on the river Teplá Vltava in NP Šumava. I have identified the human and non-human actors' network influencing the case and addressed the role they've played during the negotiation process. Based on the qualitative analyses of semi-structured interviews and documents I have revealed the key factors determining the actors' attitude towards the process. The conception of nature and the reference to the place have been revealed as the most important ones. In connection to both of them I have tried to find out the way how actors interpret the key factors and what kind of consequences it takes with. Through the factors I have reconstructed the whole case and analyzed how the actors use politics and expertise as their strategy within the decision making process. The whole study is based on the theory of social construction of reality (Berger and Luckham 1999) and the actor-network theory (Latour 2003). Key words: nature protection, actor-network, negotiation, decision-making process, canoying, pearloyster, Teplá Vltava, NP Šumava.
