There was a qualitative research created and realized at primary school in inclusive classroom in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part gives a view of actual theoretical knowledge of educating gifted students. Practical part gives a report of actual guality of educating gifted students in one particular primary school in the Czech Republic. The qualitative research is based on observation method, interviews, questionnaires and analyses of school documents such as Annual Report and School Education Programme. Teachers were asked for their attitudes toward giftedness and educating gifted children. There was done the observation of teaching methods used in the classroom where a gifted pupil is placed. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out models and ideals of the pupils of elementary schools. The study is divided into two major parts. The theoretical part describes specifics of pupils from a view of developmental psychology, areas where pupils can find their models and the issue of youth subcultures. Furthermore the attention is aimed at a development of research of pupils' models and ideals. Two extensive studies concerning this topic are described here. The empirical part presents results of the questionnaire survey conducted at an Elementary School in Prague. The topic of this survey was pupils' models, ideals and life wishes.

This diploma thesis deals with the current situation in the area of cooperation between family and school in the elementary schools of the current educational stream of the Pelhřimov district. The aim of the thesis is to bring basic information about the issue and to find out the degree of cooperation between the mentioned actors by parents, teachers in the Pelhřimov district.The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is based on analysis of professional literature, clarifies the concept of communication, cooperation, pupil and teacher. The empirical part presents a research investigation, which was carried out at the first level of basic schools of the common educational stream in the Pelhřimov district among the parents of the first class pupils, among the teachers of these schools. The research was conceived by the method of quantitative investigation using non-standardized questionnaires of own construction. In conclusion, the obtained data are presented. This Master thesis utilizes oral history and comparative methodology to describe history of two national schools in between 1945 and 1960. One of the schools is located in Dohalice and second one in Vidichov in Hradec Králové region. The emphasis is on pupil mainly. The main attention is paid to change of pupil's life due to the end of World War II and followed by change after February 1948. Thesis follows everyday's life of pupil at school with focus on changes caused by shiftes of regimes. It also covers research of appearence of school's building, role of teachers, change of teaching aids, religion education but phenomenes such as Colorado potate beetle will be covered as well. This Diploma Thesis deals with the issue of knowledge of second grade pupils of a selected elementary school regarding selected infectious diseases. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out to what extent pupils aged 11 - 15 are informed about infectious diseases, their transmission, treatment possibilities, protection against them and to what extent their school participates in such awareness procedures. The theoretical part includes the definition and approximation of basic terms concerning epidemiology, hygiene and microbiology. It provides basic information about infectious diseases, transmission methods, protection against them and their treatment. The practical part analyses and evaluates the data obtained by the questionnaire survey among second grade pupils of the selected elementary school. A total of 186 questionnaires were used to evaluate the results. Indeed, the results confirmed that the pupils' knowledge of infectious diseases is not sufficient for their own health and safety development. Many pupils have misinformation about vaccinations, incubation periods and protection against infectious diseases. Annotation: The thesis name The children from orphanages and their integration into the class group is focused on taking the role of student by children from orphanages. The thesis is divided into a theoretical, methodological and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to family, school roles and long-term researches of Matějček and Langmeier on the psychological deprivation and sub-deprivation. The methodology section contains objectives of the thesis and structure of the research project. The practical part examined differences in the conception of the role of pupil children from orphanages and children from family care using observational, questionnaire and socio-metric method and verifies that the monitored pupils from the orphanage have difficulties with social integration into the class group. The goal of diploma thesis is to follow and capture the changes in the relationship of the central characters of schools, i.e. the teacher and the student. This change is however closely related to the time context and the development of school as an institution. Current pedagogic trends, the church and political circumstances also play a role. I will monitor the change of the relationship between the teacher and the student approximately from the second half of the 15th century until today. This work has a character of a historical study and thus I will use mostly the historic and historic comparative method. Therefore, it will not contain a practical part, but will include only the theoretical one. The necessary information will be taken from historical and contemporary literature.

The aim of the thesis is to ascertain the level of motor skills of basketball players of younger school age. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarises knowledge obtained from scientific literature, defines fundamental terms related to the issue and clarifies the links between them. The theoretical part includes a definition of the UNIFITTEST 6 - 60 testing method, which appears to be the most suitable form of testing pupils aged 8 to 10 on the basis of scientific literature. The practical part focuses on the actual testing of pupils. The aim of the thesis is to compare the results of pupils obtained in the Prague Sokol Organization who do sports actively also outside of school with those of pupils who only do sports as part of their compulsory education and just have the number of PE lessons the law stipulates for primary education. By comparing the obtained results, it will be possible to determine whether pupils who do sports only at school can reach the results of pupils in the Prague Sokol Organization. On the basis of this finding we may assume which pupils are talented and can be worked with further so as to allow their potential talent to develop.

The diploma thesis deals with possibilities of improving the teaching of pupils with a different mother tongue at primary school level. The theoretical part analyzes the available literature on the subject. The thesis answers questions as: How is it possible to support pupils with a different mother tongue? Which approaches and methods can be used while teaching foreign pupils to improve and facilitate the education of pupils with different mother tongues? How to ensure that all the pupils in the class develop the same skills at the same time? The gained knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis is used to create interventions and empirical part of the thesis. Empirical part of the thesis is based on a research to test methods and practices to improve and facilitate the teaching of the pupils with a different mother tongue. In the course of several months of intense collaboration with a particular pupil, the ways to improve the quality of teaching have been investigated. It turned out not all of the methods and practices are effective. Furthermore, it has been also confirmed that the achievement of some specific goals for improving and facilitating teaching is a long-term process. Sociocultural disability of foreign pupils and professional qualification of teachers The aim of the dissertation thesis is to analyze the vocational qualification of teachers in relation to socio-cultural disability of foreign pupils (pupils with a different mother tongue). The theoretical part presents current knowledge regarding the issues of education of foreign pupils (pupils with a different mother tongue) in Czech and foreign background. It defines basic approaches to socio-cultural disabilities and content framework of vocational qualification in relation to foreigner's pupils. The theoretical part is based mainly on the latest intercultural education, special education and other educational disciplines. Another source of information is an empirical study which determines what should be the content of training teachers to effectively teach foreigner's pupil (the pupil with a different mother tongue).
