Interakce ve škole: vyjednávání žákovských a učitelských rolí / Interaction at school: negotiation of pupil and teacher roles

5 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with interaction in educational environment, i.e. mutual interaction between two subjects (teachers and students) and their influence on one another during the educational process, with each participant involved in different social roles, which often require different ways of communication. The theoretical part focuses on the general description of teacher's personality, his authority and his role in pedagogical interaction with students, and on pedagogical communication, which forms the most important part of interaction between the teacher and students. The empirical part is an ethnographic study of the Czech language classes at a secondary school in Rokycany. It is a qualitative research that consists of a subjective description of the studied environment. It focuses on monitoring individual interaction genres in the classroom, how the teacher negotiates her role, creates and maintains authority, when, why, and how students communicate, verbally or non-verbally. The analysis is made on the basis of video recordings of individual hours, interviews with teachers, its reflections on students she teaches and reflections of students on their Czech language teacher. This diploma thesis deals with a problem of iclusion of pupils with behavioral disorder in the first grade of elementary shool. The goal of the thesis is to describe an approach of the teachers in the first grade of ordinary elementary school to these pupils. The theorethical part of the thesis describes complex of problems of behavioral disorders, inclusion and current situation of czech educational system. The practical part of the thesis focuses on two czech elementary schools where I have been doing a research during school year 2016/2017. In a process of finding solution of examined problem was used a way of qualitative research and observing methods, analyzes of articles and documents, an interview and comments. The thesis contains a complex case report about pupils with behavioral disorder. This case report is based on information gained during the research and there are also described pedagogical approaches of their teachers. According to that research was found out that a topic of school inclusion is ongoing and teachers are very familier with it. But sometimes they keep mistaking this concept for a concept of integration. The thesis aim is to find out about education, upbringing and integration process of these troubled children. In the theoretic part it will be explained the terms - behavioural problem and its most frequent symptoms at secondary school, a troubled pupil, types of secondary schools, that will be related to this work and causes of behavioural problem at this age. The empirical part will be realized by conversations at five different secondary schools in the Czech Republic. It will be used the method of quality. The conversations will be taken place with methodists of prevention, psychologists or teachers of the troubled pupils. The empirical part will be implemented with the aid of qualitative interviewing -semi-structured interview. The interview will be taped and written down. This diploma thesis deals with alternative pedagogical concept of Peter Petersen, the jena pedagogy. It describes the topic at first on the theoretical level, in the next section is it concentrated on its practical application in Czech and foreign schools. In the theoretical part deals the diploma thesis with historical background of the emergence of alternative pedagogical trends in general, then is targeted at some specific alternative directions and the most attention is devoted to jena pedagogy. The diploma thesis maps the first attempt of foundation a jena school in the Czech Republic, where in the 90s were opened several experimental classes with jena elements at a primary school in Poděbrady. It monitors the circumstances of preparation of this initiative, its progress and the situation leading to its early demise. The result of the analysis is identification the potential benefits and risks of jena system of education for our school system.

The diploma thesis deals with the psysical aktivity of pupils of older school age, ie pupils of the second grade of primary school, during an emergency caused by a coronavirus pandemic. The aim of the work is based on theoretical analysis and the results of our own research to map and compare the programof teaching psysical education in distance form in selected schools. The theoretical part deals with the issue of physical activity, the period of older school age, the state of emergency and the associated excessive sitting and social isolation. The practical part specifically focuses on the content, volume, intensity of physical education, communication between teachers and students in the distance form, but also on leisure physical activity. To find out the results for the practical part, I chose a questionnaire survey of pupils in the second grade od selected primary schools and interviews with physical education teachers. Based on these results, a specific program for teaching physical education in distance for was created.

In the theoretical part, the work first deals with school evaluation, its connection with educational goals and its functions. Then the theoretical part introduces the types of school evaluation, as well as its methods and types. The main part of the theoretical part of this work deals with verbal evaluation. First, the concept of verbal evaluation will be defined. Then the work introduces the types of verbal evaluation. The work then deals with the topic of criteria and its connection with verbal evaluation. The following chapter deals with diagnostics and observations before writing verbal evaluation. The next chapters are devoted to the very creation of verbal evaluation. First, the work deals with what should be the content of verbal evaluation and then the principles of its writing and formulations. Next, we will show the advantages and disadvantages of this form of evaluation. The last chapter deals with verbal assessment in students with specific learning and behavioral disorders. The diploma thesis deals with the religious education at the church elementary school in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the church elementary school, its history and its relation to the Framework Education Program for the Elementary Education and to the official documents and then it describes the religious education itself from the perspective of the aims and contents. The next part describes the participants of the religious education - the teachers of religious education and the characteristics of the children in the 4th and 5th grade in terms of developmental psychology. The final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the researches that were carried out in the church elementary schools and in the religious education. The practical part of my diploma thesis is devoted to the research, which was carried out by means of questionnaire method. The aim of the practical part was to find how pupils of the 4th and 5th grades at the church elementary school in Prague view the subject of religious education using the questionnaire construction. The results of the research show that the pupils have mostly a positive relationship toward the subject. They consider it as a rather relaxing and amusing subject. The main topic of this dissertation is the phenomenon of premature exits from high-school studies which more often end by the really finish of studies. The problem is bigger that it seems to be and it is not only the problem just for education but it is the problem for the whole society with connetions to the economic, psychology, sociology and other areas. The term of this disseration is not only to determine the premature exits from high schools, their reasons and connections but to determine the pupil's personality from the evolutionary psychology view. The parts of this dissertation are also my own experiences and special arrangements to stop the premature exits from abroad. In the theoretical part I take the extract not only from the professional literature but my other sources are professional magazines, the National Education Institute and the Education Law. The practical part is based on the empirical research which is divided into few parts. It uses the quantitative research made by the data from the school register, and it is added of questionnaire for pedagogues, headmasters and new coming students. This master thesis aims to describe the methods, form of work and educational strategies used in teaching gifted students and to verify their effectiveness in practice though action - based teacher research. The teoretical part contains the results of czech and foreign literature research concerning the issue of gifted education. It focuses mainly on methods, forms and content of education, but also defining the basic concepts of be gifted and be talented, models of giftedness, characteristics and typologies of gifted pupils, their motivation and attitude of teacher, who plays an essential role in the education process of (not only) gifted pupils. The practical part contains the course and evaluation of action teacher research, where I will apply theoretical knowledge to primary school classes with gifted children and verify their effectiveness in practice. This thesis deals with observation of pupil in Montessori system which was designed by Maria Montessori. One of the principles this education is individual approach of the teacher to the student and respecting his learning pace. Thus the teacher becomes an observer who must know he level of education of each pupil in his mixed class. But how to map individual student progress? The aim of the thesis is to describe and analyze the way and the importance of observation as professional activity of a teacher teaching in a heterogeneous class in Montessori school and to assess the possibilities of modifying observations for classical primary schools. The first part of the thesis describes alternative schools and the characteristics of Montessori pedagogy as an introduction to the main principles of the examined environment of the practical part.
