Studničková, Kristýna January 2021 (has links)
Štinglová Kristýna Pupil at a primary school as a member of a pupils'parlament ABSTRACT The diploma thesis is focused on a primary school pupil in the pupil's parliament. The aim of the work is to find examples of inspiring practice for involving students from the 1st grade in the student parliament. In the theoretical part, at the beginning I deal with the basic concepts that accompany the whole thesis. Then I discuss the topic of democracy in schools, its basic principles and conditions that the school must meet. I mention CEDU, which helps primary schools build democracy. The work is further focused on the developmental character of the 1st grade pupil (it is early school age and middle school age) in terms of social and emotional development. The work also slightly affects the rights of the child at school. Finally, I analyze in detail the parliamentary parliament in Czech schools and abroad, more specifically in Germany, Great Britain and Denmark. The practical part is divided according to research methods into three parts. There is a semi- structured interview with the coordinator of the student parliament, indirect observation of the student parliament meeting in the distance form of study and has my own experience with the student parliament at the time when I was studying at primary school. At the...

Rozvíjení komunikační kompetence pomocí online diskusních úkolů: počítačem zprostředkovaná komunikace a dovednost psaní / Developing communicative competence through online discussion tasks: computer mediated communication and the skill of writing

Tůma, František January 2012 (has links)
This dissertation deals with the developing and development of EFL learners' communicative competence in writing in a blended learning course. The dissertation addresses issues related to the conceptualization of developing communicative competence and measuring learners' progress as well as using ICT in foreign language teaching. The underlying research question was whether learners' communicative competence changed after using a series of online discussion tasks, and if so, in what manner. The empirical research was conducted as a case study in which 18 learners in an EFL course at the CEFR A2 level participated in three discussion tasks conducted online, using asynchronous discussion forum. The discussions were built on social constructivist learning theories. Methods of data collection and analysis included pre- and post-tests, learner corpus compiled from the texts written by the students in two online discussions and its analysis, and a questionnaire survey. The results showed that learners' overall level of communicative competence in writing improved. Specifically, the syntactic complexity of learners' language produced at the beginning and at the end of the course increased and learners' perceived fluency in writing improved. These findings support the claim that learners' active participation in...

Využití textů Jana Nerudy ve výuce literatury / Use of Jan Neruda's Texts in Literature Classes

Mrázková, Miloslava January 2017 (has links)
The theoretical part of the master's thesis first deals with the context of Jan Neruda's life and work and with the representation of Neruda's texts in post-revolutionary reading books for junior high school and high school. This part is based on the results presented in the author's bachelor's thesis Work of Jan Neruda in reading books. The next chapter follows the formation of Jan Neruda's image in literature textbooks for junior high school and high school published after 1989. The analysis of reading books and textbooks shows the remaining emphasis on the writer's poetic work even though his contribution to the field of feuilleton and modern prose is considered to be more important. The results of this analysis are used to elucidate the aim of the thesis, which is a new selection of Neruda's texts and the creation of the author's own textbook explanatory texts emphasizing the writer's feuilletons and prose work. The practical part of the thesis contains a questionnaire "mini-research" of pupils' and students' preconceptions regarding the personality and work of Jan Neruda. This research together with another "mini-research" of different teachers' conceptions of teaching about Jan Neruda form the basis for accomplishing the aims of the thesis. The last chapter contains the author's selection of...
