Sammanfattning Studiens syfte är att undersöka barns delaktighet i utredningar och beslut om insatser inom socialt arbete utifrån professionellas perspektiv. Utifrån studiens syfte formulerades tre frågeställningar som studien utgår ifrån. De två första frågeställningarna behandlar vilka möjligheter och hinder som finns för barns delaktighet i utredningar och beslut om insatser inom socialt arbete utifrån socialarbetarens perspektiv. Medan den tredje frågeställningen behandlar vilka förbättringsförslag som finns för att öka barns delaktighet i utredningar och beslut om insatser som berör dem. Fem semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer med socialarbetare som arbetar i två olika kommuner genomfördes och empirin har tematiskt analyserats utifrån tidigare forskning och teoretiska utgångspunkter. Resultatet visar att det finns brist på kunskap hos handläggarna och att det finns vissa brister i deras kommunikationsförmåga som krävs för att engagera barnet i utrednings- eller beslutsprocessen. Barnets ålder påverkar hur samtalen genomförs och barnets situation kan påverka hur samtalen ser ut. Vårdnadshavare kan påverka vad barnet säger och på det sättet kan barnets delaktighet begränsas. De metoder och tillvägagångssätt som används av socialarbetare för att säkerställa barns delaktighet i beslutsprocessen är mer anpassade för barn över 15 år. Det är viktigt att bygga en relation mellan socialarbetaren och barnet.     Nyckelord: Barn, delaktighet, erkännande, relation, socialarbetare / abstract The purpose of the study is to investigate children's participation in investigations and decisions about inputs within social work from the perspective of professionals. Three questions were formulated that deal with what opportunities there are for children's participation in investigations and decisions about efforts in social work, what obstacles there are for children's participation in investigations and decisions about efforts in social work from the perspective of the social worker, and what improvement proposals exist to increase children's participation in investigations and decisions about interventions that concern them. Five semi-structured qualitative interviews with social workers working in two different municipalities were conducted and the empirical evidence has been thematically analyzed based on previous research and theoretical starting points. The result shows that there is a lack of knowledge on the part of the caseworkers and that there are certain deficiencies in their communication skills required to engage the child in the investigation or decision-making process. The child's age affects how the conversations are conducted. The legal guardians can influence what the child says and in this way the child's participation can be limited. The purpose of the study is to investigate how social workers within social services work in the task of preventing juvenile delinquency, as well as whether the efforts applied by the social services produce the intended effect. The study is based on a qualitative research method and the data collection method used is semi-structured interviews and a total of six people have been interviewed. These people are social workers who work with crime prevention work with young people in medium-sized municipalities. The collected empirical data has been analyzed through a thematic analysis and then based on previous research and theories. The two theories that have been used in the analysis work are systems theory and stamping theory. Systems theory explains how an individual's surrounding systems interact and allows a deeper understanding of the individual's need for support. Stamping theory describes how stamping processes are created and how they can be behind a progression of norm-breaking behaviour. The results of the study demonstrate that collaboration and relationship building are important parts of crime prevention work. The result also shows that the crime prevention efforts are not individually adapted and that there is a deficit of resources within the activities. / Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur socialsekreterare inom socialtjänsten arbetar i uppdraget att förebygga ungdomsbrottslighet, samt om insatserna som tillämpas av socialtjänsten ger en avsedd effekt. Studien utgår från en kvalitativ forskningsmetod och datainsamlingsmetoden som används är semistrukturerade intervjuer och totalt sex personer har intervjuats. Dessa personer är socialsekreterare som arbetar med brottsförebyggande arbete med ungdomar i mellanstora kommuner. Den inhämtade empirin har analyserats genom en tematisk analys och därefter utifrån tidigare forskning och teorier. De två teorierna som har använts i analysarbetet är systemteori och stämplingsteori. Systemteori redogör för hur en individs omgivande system samspelar och kan förmedla en djupare förståelse för individens behov av stöd. Stämplingsteori beskriver hur stämplingsprocesser skapas och hur de kan ligga bakom en fortskridning av ett normbrytande beteende. Studiens resultat påvisar att samverkan och relationsskapande är betydelsefulla delar i det brottsförebyggande arbetet. Resultatet visar även på att de brottsförebyggande insatserna inte är individanpassade och att det finns ett underskott av resurser inom verksamheterna

Background: In 2017, there were 675,000 individuals aged 17–84 who reported that they had used drugs. Those with addictions are individuals who often encounter social work in one way or another. The contact can be established at an early age, before the abuse has started, and apply to problems surrounding divorced parents and parents with addiction, something that has been shown to have a connection with an individual's later addiction. Aim: The aim of the study is to investigate and create an increased understanding of sober alcoholics and drug addicts' perception of their lives. The aim is to put the interviewees life experiences in connection to their understandings of abusing alcohol and drugs. Method: The study is a qualitative interview study conducted on five people who all had substance abuse problems. The interviewees were chosen based on convenience and snowball sampling. Semi-structured interviews were held, and the analysis method hermeneutics was applied. Results: The study has shown how negative events in childhood can create anxiety and worry in individuals that can later be linked to addiction in adulthood. Conclusions: The development of an addiction can be linked to the availability of drugs, an individual's negative self-image and various types of deviant behaviour.
