Гидропривод наклона дуговой сталеплавильной печи ДСП-100 : магистерская диссертация / Hydraulic tilt drive of the arc steelmaking furnace DSP-100Славницкий, Р. А., Slavnitskiy, R. A. January 2022 (has links)
Simulink. / This article contains dynamic analysis of the simulation model of the hydraulic tilt drive of an arc steelmaking furnace was performed with use of the Matlab environment and Simulink and Fluids extension packages. The relevance of the topic of the final qualifying work is due to the saving of time and resources of the enterprise when creating a simulation model instead of a bench model of the mechanism "in metal", as well as the visibility of the resulting model. The dynamic analysis of the mechanism was performed by creating a block diagram of a hydraulic drive with parameters calculated for a given system, performed in the Fluids expansion and sending a force signal to a solid-state furnace model performed in the Simulink expansion.

Noise cancellation for compact MIMO systemsAbdulkhaleq, Ahmed M., Ali, N.T., Abd-Alhameed, Raed, Sayidmarie, Khalil H., See, Chan H., Noras, James M., Excell, Peter S. January 2013 (has links)
No / A proposed method for cancelling or reducing the effect of the transmitted power within the transceiver MIMO unit is investigated and discussed using a feedback signal process between the elements. Several parameters including the level of feedback power mismatch, the transmitted power and the received power are considered in this work to test the performance of the system in term of the bit error rate (BER) versus signal to noise ratio (SNR). A new software programme using MATLAB is implemented to evaluate the proposed method. The results showed that the performances of the system are heavily dependent on the amount of the transmitted power, the received power, and the mismatch in the feedback component.

Compact Modeling of Silicon Carbide (SiC) Vertical Junction Field Effect Transistor (VJFET) in PSpice using Angelov Model and PSpice Simulation of Analog Circuit Building Blocks using SiC VJFET ModelPurohit, Siddharth 09 December 2006 (has links)
This thesis presents the development of compact model of novel silicon carbide (SiC) Vertical Junction Field Effect Transistor (VJFET) for high-power circuit simulation. An empirical Angelov model is developed for SiC VJFET in PSpice. The model is capable of accurately replicating the device behavior for the DC and Transient conditions. The model was validated against measured data obtained from devices developed by Mississippi Center for Advanced Semiconductor Prototyping at MSU and SemiSouth Laboratories. The modeling approach is based on extracting Angelov Equations Coefficients from experimental device characteristics using non linear fitting. The coefficients are extracted for different parameters (temperature, width, etc). Multi-Dimensional Interpolation Technique is used to incorporate the effect of more than one parameter. The models developed in this research are expected to be valuable tools for electronic designers in the future. The developed model was applied for investigating the characteristics of a few standard analog circuit blocks using SiC VJFET and Si JFET in order to demonstrate the capabilities of the model to reveal the relative advantages of one over the other. The selected circuits of interest were Voltage Follower, Common Source Amplifier, Current Source and Differential Amplifier. Simulations of analog circuit building blocks incorporating SiC VJFET showed better circuit functionality compared to their Si counterparts.

Design of frozen orbits for lunar navigation and communications missionsParker, Joel Jefferson Konkle 09 August 2008 (has links)
Eccentric lunar frozen orbits are analyzed in this study in relation to lunar navigation and communications missions, particularly the proposed Magnolia-1 mission. An overview of the Earth/Moon system, frozen orbits, and the Magnolia-1 mission is provided. A review of existing literature is presented, and potential limitations are discussed. Both preliminary and numerical perturbation analyses are presented, and a general set of perturbations for further analysis of high-altitude lunar orbits is identified. Analysis of potential orbits for the Magnolia-1 mission is performed through calculation of a maximum deviation metric and through visualization as a function of initial orbital elements. Trends are identified within a closed search space by varying elements individually and in combination. Potential orbit designs for the Magnolia-1 mission are selected and compared to established alternatives. A method of orbit refinement is used to improve behavior, and coverage and eclipse analyses are performed to establish suitability. Conclusions are made involving general trends related to eccentric lunar frozen orbits and the specific designs proposed for the Magnolia-1 mission, and a method for the design of similar orbits is suggested. Ideas for further study are also presented.

Dynamic Message Sign and Diversion Traffic OptimizationGou, Jizhan 11 December 2009 (has links)
This dissertation proposes a Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) diversion control system based on principles of existing Advanced Traveler Information Systems and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS). The objective of the proposed system is to alleviate total corridor traffic delay by choosing optimized diversion rate and alternative road signal-timing plan. The DMS displays adaptive messages at predefined time interval for guiding certain number of drivers to alternative roads. Messages to be displayed on the DMS are chosen by an on-line optimization model that minimizes corridor traffic delay. The expected diversion rate is assumed following a distribution. An optimization model that considers three traffic delay components: mainline travel delay, alternative road signal control delay, and the travel time difference between the mainline and alternative roads is constructed. Signal timing parameters of alternative road intersections and DMS message level are the decision variables; speeds, flow rates, and other corridor traffic data from detectors serve as inputs of the model. Traffic simulation software, CORSIM, served as a developmental environment and test bed for evaluating the proposed system. MATLAB optimization toolboxes have been applied to solve the proposed model. A CORSIM Run-Time-Extension (RTE) has been developed to exchange data between CORSIM and the adopted MATLAB optimization algorithms (Genetic Algorithm, Pattern Search in direct search toolbox, and Sequential Quadratic Programming). Among the three candidate algorithms, the Sequential Quadratic Programming showed the fastest execution speed and yielded the smallest total delays for numerical examples. TRANSYT-7F, the most credible traffic signal optimization software has been used as a benchmark to verify the proposed model. The total corridor delays obtained from CORSIM with the SQP solutions show average reductions of 8.97%, 14.09%, and 13.09% for heavy, moderate and light traffic congestion levels respectively when compared with TRANSYT-7F optimization results. The maximum model execution time at each MATLAB call is fewer than two minutes, which implies that the system is capable of real world implementation with a DMS message and signal update interval of two minutes.
