本研究共一冊，約十二萬字，共分七章，扼要說明如下： 第一章 緒論。分四節，說明本研究之研究動機與目的、研究途徑與方法、研究設計 及調查樣本的特性。 第二章 行政協調的性質。分四節說明行政協調的涵義、類別、需要及原則。 第三章 機關內部協調的途徑，分五節說明，並以實證研究之資料解說。（四、五、 六章均同）分別談到：經由目標、計畫、組織、領導及溝通未獲致協調。 第四章 機關內部協調的方法，分為八節說明，即報導制度的運用、意見交流的舉行 、文書處理的方式、協調小組的設置、個人之間的接觸、幕僚人員的服務、協調法規 的訂定及科學方法的採行。 第五章 機關成員對內部協調的態度。分二節，即從事內部協調之一般態度及參與時 的態度。 第六章 機關內部協調的評價。分二節，即內部協調的效果及內部協調的障礙。 第七章 結論。分二節，談到研究發現及改進建議。
