論文之目的在於探討： （一）非工作層面，人格層面與工作層面是否兩兩之間在壓力程度上存在著交互影響 的關係。 （二）上述三種層面之各變項中，何著對於工作壓力有較大的預測能力。 論文中所選擇的變項包括下列各種。 （一）非工作層面；性別、年齡、教育程度、婚姻狀況、及家庭經濟責任。 （二）人格層面；TYPEA TYPEB。 （三）工作層面；工作年資、角色特定、工作部門、及組織氣候等。 （四）效果變項；焦慮、疲勞、憂鬱、低自尊、工作滿足、離職意願、及三種生理症 狀。
