アルツハイマー病は、アミロイドβ(Aβ)とよばれるタンパク質が脳に蓄積することで発症すると考えられている。Aβは、前駆体タンパク質APPが細胞内を輸送される過程でβ,γ-セクレターゼによる切断を受けて産生される。本研究では、志賀毒素を用いたAPPの細胞内輸送制御、ならびにAPPの代謝を阻害するペプチド性分子の開発、2つの異なるアプローチによる新たなAβ産生抑制法の確立を試みた。 / 博士(理学) / Doctor of Philosophy in Science / 同志社大学 / Doshisha University
