S'approprier l'Ecrit autrement ? : du diagnostic à la remédiation chez des enfants en difficulté sur l'Ecrit / Towards another way to appropriate the Written language ? : from skills assessment to remediation in children having problems with reading and writing

Majaji, Sara 04 December 2015 (has links)
This doctoral research on the Written language takes place in the field of developmental psychology. It can be focused on two main concepts and two main steps: reading and writing skills assessment on one hand, remediation of difficulties on the other hand. The reading and writing appropriation concept developed by Besse is used to link assessment and remediation and the Written language in all its dimensions (cognitive, social and more personal aspects) is taken into account. Based upon the use of the DMA method, 159 children from 1st to 5th grade were first met individually and activities relating to reading, writing and oral skills were proposed to highlight their Written language skills and representations. We were able to monitor the progress and we could analyze the development of reading and writing skills throughout elementary school. Different profiles of reading and writing skills were also identified, especially to differentiate children having problems with Written language. In a second step, remediation workshops were set up for three months with 21 5th grade children. The purpose was writing articles for the school newspaper in order to support children to another thought and appropriation of the Written language. The results are encouraging : they show some influence of remediation on representations and behaviors about reading and writing.

The hypotesis was to develop a teaching intervation using problem situations, working the concepts of Unknown, variable and 1st grade equation, contextualized with teens and adults students daily lives. We used 4 teaching intervations in a module IV group (7th and 8th Elementary School grade EJA). The theorical background was based on FREIRE studies associated to freeing education, D´AMBRÓSIO exposures about Etnomathematics theories associated with Mathematical Modeling and the transdiciplinary, SKOVSMOSE highlights of the concepts in Critical Mathematics. Finally, algebraic foundaments and D´AMBRÓSIO considerations about problem solving. Our sample was supposed to do 2 individual tests: one before (pre-test) and another, similar to the first (post-test), after having contact with instruments applied on teaching intervation. In sinthesis, we are able to say that after the teaching intervation and consequently the post-test, students showed a satisfactory performance, higher than the one on the pre-test. We highlight that individual improvement was founded in most students in the reseach. However, our aim was not to generalize these findings to the whole population, once our sample was small. We noticed that the teching and learning process of algeabric concepts is more powerful when it starts from solving a concrete problem which belongs to student s daily lives / A presente dissertação teve por objetivo investigar uma abordagem de ensino dos conceitos de incógnita, variável e equação do 1o grau, pautada na modelagem matemática e nos estudos da Etnomatemática.

Žák 1. stupně ZŠ jako člen v žákovském parlamentu / Pupil at a primary school as a member of a pupils' parliament

Studničková, Kristýna January 2021 (has links)
Štinglová Kristýna Pupil at a primary school as a member of a pupils'parlament ABSTRACT The diploma thesis is focused on a primary school pupil in the pupil's parliament. The aim of the work is to find examples of inspiring practice for involving students from the 1st grade in the student parliament. In the theoretical part, at the beginning I deal with the basic concepts that accompany the whole thesis. Then I discuss the topic of democracy in schools, its basic principles and conditions that the school must meet. I mention CEDU, which helps primary schools build democracy. The work is further focused on the developmental character of the 1st grade pupil (it is early school age and middle school age) in terms of social and emotional development. The work also slightly affects the rights of the child at school. Finally, I analyze in detail the parliamentary parliament in Czech schools and abroad, more specifically in Germany, Great Britain and Denmark. The practical part is divided according to research methods into three parts. There is a semi- structured interview with the coordinator of the student parliament, indirect observation of the student parliament meeting in the distance form of study and has my own experience with the student parliament at the time when I was studying at primary school. At the...
