Over the past five years, our objective has been to assure interoperability among diverse data recording users while achieving technical excellence for our ADARIO(Analog Digital Adaptable Input Output) family of products. In this paper, we summarize 25 years of ADARIO development; technical challenges, risks and processes; as well as our five-year effort to modify and develop our recording system products to meet the evolutionary standards of technical excellence.

The system supports 24 channels of data acquisition, is realized using entirely COTS components, and achieves full IRIG compatibility without any compromise in the desired system performance and operation.
