Uso de psicofármacos em adolescentes atendidos pelos centros de atenção psicossocial infanto-juvenil de Fortaleza(CE)

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2012-11-19 / The use of psychotropic drugs has therapeutic relevancy in the treatment of teenagers with mental disorders, mainly when if optimizes the relationship between the user and his drug treatment. The study has the objective to analyze the use of psychotropic drugs in the treatment of teenagers accompanied by Psychosocial Care Center Children and Youth (CAPS i). This is a transversal study with 194 teenagers, realized in two CAPS i of Fortaleza (CE), from March to June 2012, in that was applied questionnaires that addressed socioeconomics characteristics, of treatment at CAPS i and the use of psychotropics. The analysis occurred through of the statistical program SPSS 19.0, being obtained measures of central tendency and chi-square. It was respected the ethical aspects, according to Resolution 196/96. The results showed that teenagers are male sex (58.8%) are aged between 12 and 15 years old (70.5%) and using psychotropics (88.7%), and the therapeutic classes more used are: antipsychotics and antidepressants, respectively. The psychotropics more used: risperidone, haloperidol and carbamazepine. On CAPS I, the use of psychotropics drugs in teenagers with mental maintains a hegemonic treatment, although there is recognition by the multidisciplinary of the importance of non-pharmacological treatment. / O uso de psicofármacos possui relevância terapêutica no tratamento de transtornos mentais dos adolescentes, principalmente, quando se otimiza a relação entre o usuário e seu tratamento medicamentoso. O estudo tem o objetivo de analisar o uso de psicofármacos no tratamento de adolescentes acompanhados pelo Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Infanto-Juvenil (Caps i). Trata-se de um estudo transversal, com 194 adolescentes, realizado nos dois Caps i de Fortaleza (CE), no período de março a junho de 2012, em que foram aplicados questionários que abordavam características socieconômicas, de atendimento no Caps i e do uso de psicofármacos. A análise ocorreu por meio do programa estatístico SPSS 19.0, sendo obtidas medidas de tendência central e o qui-quadrado. Foram respeitados os aspectos éticos, conforme Resolução 196/96. Os resultados mostraram que os adolescentes são do sexo masculino (58,8%), estão na faixa etária entre 12 e 15 anos (70,5%) e usam psicofármacos (88,7%), sendo que as classes terapêuticas mais utilizadas são: antipsicóticos e antidepressivos, respectivamente. Os psicofármacos mais utilizados: risperidona, carbamazepina e haloperidol. No Caps i, o uso de psicofármacos entre os adolescentes com transtornos mentais mantém uma relação hegemônica no tratamento, embora exista o reconhecimento pela equipe multiprofissional da importância do tratamento não-medicamentoso.
