O estudo tem, como referÃncia empÃrica, a experiÃncia vivenciada no estado do MaranhÃo, no perÃodo 2004-2008, com convÃnios firmados entre o Instituto Nacional de ColonizaÃÃo e Reforma AgrÃria â INCRA e sete organizaÃÃes da sociedade civil, para a prestaÃÃo de serviÃos de Assessoria TÃcnica, Social e Ambiental â ATES, Ãs famÃlias que residem nos denominados Projetos de Assentamento - PAs. As inspiraÃÃes analÃticas pÃem em diÃlogo teorias da Economia PolÃtica, da Sociologia PolÃtica e da Antropologia PolÃtica, com leituras que, do ponto de vista metodolÃgico e epistemolÃgico, ajudam a pensar a atitude do pesquisador no ofÃcio de fazer pesquisa, cabendo destacar contribuiÃÃes de trÃs vertentes: sociologia reflexiva (Bourdieu), sociologia das ausÃncias e das emergÃncias (Boaventura dos Santos) e antropologia interpretativa (Geertz). Por meio de uma metodologia qualitativa, que conjuga distintas vias investigativas - observaÃÃo em eventos, realizaÃÃo de entrevistas, visitas aos assentamentos e pesquisa documental - o estudo chega Ãs percepÃÃes dos agentes sociais envolvidos na iniciativa, identificando tensÃes e aproximaÃÃes que advÃm da aÃÃo conjunta, proporcionando a formulaÃÃo de uma anÃlise sociolÃgica, acerca da contraditoriedade do Estado brasileiro contemporÃneo que tenta firmar-se como um Estado democrÃtico de direito, em meio aos dilemas provocados pelos ajustes à dinÃmica do capital, em sua face mundializada / The relationship between government and Social Movements that working in the countryside, established in the process of joint construction of a particular public policy, directed to segments that living in household production, is the central axis of this thesis. The study has as empirical reference the lived experience in the state of Maranhao, in the period 2004-2008, with firmed covenants between the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform â NICRA and seven civil society organizations for the service delivery of Technical Social Environmental Advising â TSEA for families who reside in so-called Settlement Projects â SPs. The analytical inspirations combine theories of Political Economy, Political Sociology and Political Anthropology, with readings that, from the point of methodological and epistemological view, help you think the attitude of a researcher in the craft of doing research, among them, stand out the contributions of reflexive sociology (Bourdieu), the sociology of absences and emergencies (Boaventura dos Santos) and the interpretive anthropology (Geertz). Through a qualitative methodology, which combines different techniques of data collection, among them, observing events, interviews and visits to settlements, the study comes to perceptions of social agents involved in the initiative, identifying tensions and approximations that arise from joint action, which helps in the formulation of a sociological analysis, about the inconsistency of the contemporary Brazilian Nation, that attempts to establish itself as a democratic Nation of law, amid the dilemmas caused by adjustments to the dynamics of the capital, on its face globalized

Founded amid intense conflicts and disputes over land in the northern state the entity acted effectively in different regional , state and national mobilizations.Through empirical research identified as the RAL has entered its representatives to the state agencies, which defended their interests economically, socially and politically and organized struggles with other entities against social movements . Through their practices RAL mobilized and organized the collective will of the fraction of the class which it represents articulated strengths and interests to face the struggles of the landholders of Porecatu against the land-grabbers, to criminalize organizations of rural workers and built together with other segments of society the support bases to the civil- military coup of 1964 / Esta dissertação pretende analisar as formas de organização e atuação da classe patronal rural paranaense, por meio do estudo da Associação Rural de Londrina ARL, no período de 1946-1970. Fundada em meio a intensos conflitos e disputas por terra no norte do estado a referida entidade atuou de forma efetiva em distintas mobilizações regionais, estaduais e nacionais. Por meio de pesquisa empírica identificamos como a ARL tem inserido seus representantes junto às agencias do estado, defendido econômica, social e politicamente seus interesses e organizado lutas juntamente com outras entidades frente aos movimentos sociais. Por meio de suas práticas a ARL mobilizou e organizou a vontade coletiva da fração de classe que representa, articulou forças e interesses para fazer frente às lutas dos posseiros de Porecatu contra os grileiros, para criminalizar as organizações dos trabalhadores rurais e construiu juntamente com outros setores da sociedade as bases de apoio ao golpe civil-militar de 1964

O estudo tem, como referência empírica, a experiência vivenciada no estado do Maranhão, no período 2004-2008, com convênios firmados entre o Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária – INCRA e sete organizações da sociedade civil, para a prestação de serviços de Assessoria Técnica, Social e Ambiental – ATES, às famílias que residem nos denominados Projetos de Assentamento - PAs. As inspirações analíticas põem em diálogo teorias da Economia Política, da Sociologia Política e da Antropologia Política, com leituras que, do ponto de vista metodológico e epistemológico, ajudam a pensar a atitude do pesquisador no ofício de fazer pesquisa, cabendo destacar contribuições de três vertentes: sociologia reflexiva (Bourdieu), sociologia das ausências e das emergências (Boaventura dos Santos) e antropologia interpretativa (Geertz).
