This study is directed to evaluate the improvement and the economic and financial results of this Cooperative generated through the investments in industrialization from 2000 to 2004. Thus, this work searched for verifying the improvement of its resource of revenue into the process of insertion in the industrialization of rural products. Besides this, it was done an analysis of the investment return tax, providing the verification on the capability in terms of financial return to the Cooperative Society of the investment done by the Cooperative by its access in the industrialization of a Cooperative in the return of the tax on Operations Related to the Goods Circulation and on Services of Inter-state and Inter-municipal Transportation and Communication (ICMS) to the Executive power of the City of Medianeira and in other Cities where the Cooperative has opened industry sites as it has happened in the Cities of Itaipulândia, Missal, Matelândia, Céu Azul and Santa Helena, from the time when the investments were applied in industrialization from 2000 to 2004. Finally, this work analyzed the influence of the Industry Units of the Cooperative in the performance of the industrial sector of the City of Medianeira and its region through the composition of an information center which brought in correlation the employment in this sector as a variable base permitting to describe the behavior of this productive sector. / O principal objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a inserção, no processo de agroindustrialização, da Cooperativa Lar, e os reflexos econômico-financeiros que os investimentos neste setor podem ter trazido a esta sociedade cooperativa e para o desenvolvimento da região de Medianeira. O estudo foi direcionado na aferição da alavancagem aos resultados econômico-financeiros da Cooperativa Agroindustrial Lar gerada pelos investimentos em industrialização, de 2000 a 2004. Ou seja, procurou-se verificar o aumento das suas fontes de receita com o processo de inserção na industrialização dos produtos agropecuários. Além disso efetuou-se a análise da Taxa de Retorno do Investimento que proporcionou a verificação acerca da viabilidade em termos de retorno financeiro à sociedade cooperativa a partir dos investimentos em ativos feitos pela Cooperativa Lar com sua entrada na agroindustrialização. Também se verificou a participação da agroindustrialização da Cooperativa Lar no retorno do Imposto sobre Operações Relativas à Circulação de Mercadorias e sobre Prestações de Serviços de Transporte Interestadual, Intermunicipal e de Comunicação - ICMS ao Poder Executivo do Município de Medianeira e, nos demais municípios em que a cooperativa Lar tem implantado plantas industriais, como é o caso de Itaipulândia, Missal, Matelândia, Céu Azul e Santa Helena, a partir dos investimentos em industrialização de 2000 a 2004. Por fim, este trabalho, analisou a influência das Unidades Industriais da Cooperativa Lar no desempenho do setor industrial da região de medianeira pela composição de uma matriz de informações que co-relacionou o emprego no referido setor, como variável-base, o que permitiu descrever o comportamento desse setor produtivo.

to examine the existing relationship between a strategy of the small landowner strengthening and his associative behavior in the universe of the agricultural corporatism Was defined as hypothesis that that strategy would be materialized in the necessity of defending economic interest valorizing of the product and of construction of the small landowner s identity The results of the case study demonstrated that the social-catholicism supplied the bases for the development of the cooperation relationships of the area of inclusion of Cooperativa Agroindustrial Lar in the far west of Paraná especially when of the need of part colonization of that area as well as to do front to the phenomenon of the agricultural mechanization in the beginning of the 1960 s decade In a general way and not limiting the temporality the realization of the search together with the small rural producers and the complementation of study with secondary information lead to the accepting of the formulated hypothesis About the need of economic interest defenses verified the emphasis given by the small owner to aspects such as technical attendance and safety as strategies of improvement of its economic conditions being constituted in the main motivations for the association in the cooperative The hypothesis of production valorizing confirmed the opinion of the associated the recognized in majority the valor given by the cooperative to the small production Besides that they affirmed that the organization has been assisting to the interests of the small property and they see in the diversification of activities and in the agroindustrialization the foundation for its growth The identity element confirmed as well like hypothesis once it was observed in the associates opinion the importance to the colleagueship liaisons friendship and feeling of belonging to one group with the same values and cultural elements referring to the sociable atmosphere found in the cooperative The organization of small producers in turn of the cooperative could be seen still as instruments of regional development for the interoperations established in the system of social organization by activity committees and in the valorizing of diversity of the agricultural activities represent a component of construction of nets of complementarily favoring the creation distribution and multiplication of the economic surpluses in the municipal districts in that makes himself present marking the profile of the regional development / A realização do presente estudo objetivou examinar a relação existente entre uma estratégia de fortalecimento do pequeno proprietário e o seu comportamento associativo no universo do cooperativismo agropecuário Definiu-se como hipóteses que essa estratégia estaria materializada na necessidade de defesa dos interesses econômicos de valorização da produção e de construção da identidade do pequeno proprietário Os resultados do estudo de caso demonstraram que o social-catolicismo concretizado nas relações de cooperação forneceu as bases para o desenvolvimento do associativismo da região de abrangência da Cooperativa Agroindustrial Lar no extremo oeste paranaense especialmente quando da necessidade de colonização de parte daquela região bem como para fazer frente ao fenômeno da mecanização agrícola no início da década de 1960 De maneira geral e não se limitando à temporalidade a realização da pesquisa junto aos pequenos produtores rurais e a complementação do estudo com informações secundárias conduziram para a aceitação das hipóteses formuladas Sobre a necessidade de defesa de interesses econômicos constatou-se a ênfase dada pelo pequeno proprietário a aspectos como assistência técnica e segurança como estratégias de melhoria das suas condições econômicas constituindo-se nas principais motivações para a associação na cooperativa A hipótese de valorização da produção foi confirmada na opinião dos associados que reconheceram em sua maioria a valorização dada pela cooperativa à pequena produção Além disso afirmaram que a organização tem atendido aos interesses da pequena propriedade e enxergam na diversificação de atividades e na agroindustrialização as bases para o seu incremento O elemento identidade confirmou-se também como hipótese uma vez que se observou na opinião dos associados a importância atribuída aos laços de coleguismo amizade e sentimento de pertença a um grupo com os mesmos valores e elementos culturais referindo-se ao ambiente de sociabilização encontrado na cooperativa A organização dos pequenos produtores em torno da cooperativa pôde ser vista ainda como instrumento de desenvolvimento regional pois a intercooperação constatada no sistema de organização social por comitês de atividades e na valorização da diversidade das atividades agrícolas representa um elo de construção de redes de complementaridade favorecendo a criação distribuição e multiplicação dos excedentes econômicos nos municípios em que se faz presente marcando o perfil do desenvolvimento regional
