The starting point of the project was threat that commercial forces pose to the identity of today’s suburban centers. The value of a square or a non-commercial space to meet seems somehow forgotten since shopping malls and internet are our new meeting spaces. In the anonymous suburb Barkarby northwest of Stockholm the project aims to question the barrier often dividing commuter railway suburbs. The project realizes the urban values that the train inhabits and embraces the very artery that supplies the city with people. It is a first step towards a dense development enhancing the identity and status of the suburb, not trying to imitate the inner city core. Instead it competes with big scale commercial activities by suggesting qualities extracted from the suburb itself. An amphitheatre which questions the space between the highway and train, an activity path with more or less spontaneous activities and an multihall under the train tracks  altogether enriches each other and through visual guidance attracts people on a piece of ground otherwise difficult to exploit. / Utgångspunkten för projektet är det hot som kommersiella krafter utgör mot dagens förortscentrum. Vikten av ett torg eller annan icke kommersiell plats att mötas på glöms bort då gallerior och internet fungerar som våra nya mötesplatser. I den anonyma förorten Barkarby, belägen nordväst om Stockholm, strävar projektet efter att ifrågasätta den barriär som så ofta delar av området kring pendeltågsstationer. Projektet anammar de urbana kvaliteerna som tåget representerar och omfamnar själva anledningen till områdets befolkande. Det är ett första steg mot en tät stadsväv utanför stadskärnan, vilken också förstärker den lokala identiteten. Utan att härma innerstadens typlogi så förstärker projektet platsens status. Istället konkurrerar projektet med storskaliga kommersiella aktiviteter genom att erbjuda ett extract av förortens redan inneboende kvaliteter. En amfiteater som ifrågasätter utrymmet mellan motorvägen och tågspåren, ett aktivitetsstråk med mer eller mindre spontana aktiviteter och en multihall under tågspåren berikar varandra och genom visuell ledning attraherar folk på en plats som annars aldrig skulle utnyttjats.

La parte cultural a través del Teatro dado para la ciudad y la otra que corresponde a la escuela como fuente de enseñanza y formación. La Escuela brindará a la comunidad un nuevo hito cultural, además le otorgará un carácter integrador por medio de la plaza de ingreso como escenario libre para las manifestaciones de interacción y como punto de encuentro, permitiendo de esta manera reforzar el concepto de edificio de cara a la ciudad; además, una apropiación y/o identificación con el espacio. / Thesis project that develops a single volumetric set two architectural typologies which are complemented significantly. The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose the Town Hall for the city part Brno-sever (Brno-Nord). The Town Hall is placed in a newly designed urban structure, which is located on the territory of today's barracks in Černé Pole. The locality is located in the imaginary geometric center of the city and because of it the site is becoming a convenient location for the Town Hall. The main aim was to create the Town Hall changing during the time, which would respond to the additional larger footprints to the place and would respond to the adding further spaces not only with the function using for the purposes of the Hall. The new Town Hall is designed to enrich the urban space.

Cultural and Public Center is located on the dam in Brno dock, addressing the promenade between the marina and Kozí Horka, starting points and bicycle path , and include marine terminal and a natural amphitheater with a restaurant. Promenade is the multilevel net of wheelchair interconnected trails and green spaces with objects of public amenities covered by reinforced concrete shell structure with walkable green roof and with color features as landmarks. The building of the cultural center is fitted in the field wave that rises and opens towards the audience. The back part of the building is composed by field wall with employees' inputs, which forms a barrier between the amphitheater and the bike path behind the building. The object reacts to different heights of promenade's trails by Raumplan arrangement. It is divided into performers' background with store of properties, public toilets and restaurant facilities. The supporting structure is a monolithic reinforced concrete wall system in module 4 m, which carry exposed reinforced concrete shell structure with walkable green roof. The main walls are rotated by 5 °. Overall height ranges from 2700 mm to 4750 mm and headroom ranges from 2300 mm to 3800 mm according to the curved shell structure. Nationwide building foundation by the base plate with circumferential bands into the frost resistant depth is affected by bottom water pressure.

The city of Brno has always been a center of Moravian wine. The new draft of wine center responds to this reality and represents the grandeur of wineries in its full glory. Respect for nature, love for traditions and love for order/system are the main aspects of the design. The proposal is essentially open to the public, however, the necessary modesty is preserved. Conversely taciturnity of production part of buliding holds the secrets of the deep traditions of Viticulture and Enology. Designed buildings are used for production, wine storage, administration associated with the production, tasting and selling wine, conferences, accommodation and, finally, wellness and other activities. The size of the building is the result of an optimal design that does not interfere with nearby historical buildings. The emphasis is on minimizing costs both during construction and during operation. Flor plan shape resembling the letter L is oriented towards the west courtyard. This raises a unique viticultural area court with a wide staircase. The amphitheater can be used for seasonal exhibitions, pilgrimages or feast of local entertainment. The yard is connected with the street Hlinky, which paraphrases the historic entrance portals into winecellars. The northern part of the building bites into the ground and connects the original winecellars with new facilities. Small narrow windows reflects the desired taciturnity, just as it was with winecellars in South Moravia for centuries.
