Srovnání konvenčních a nových metod měření a hodnocení jasů / Comparison of Conventional and New methods of Measurement and Evaluation of Luminance

Svoboda, Miloslav January 2012 (has links)
Because luminance is the only value to which our sight responds, its measurement becomes important in terms of ensuring the proper function of vision. Nowadays luminance measuring can be made by conventional methods, such as direct using of luminance meter. However an entirely new method of measuring luminance levels is coming. This method is based on using luminance analyzers which work using a digital photography for the analysis of luminance. This thesis deals with these issues and is divided into several chapters, which form the two main parts of the thesis, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basics of lighting technology, as well as the principles of measuring the luminance using conventional methods. New methods of measurement, i.e. using luminance analyzers, are discussed in two chapters which analyse both the principle and characteristics of analyzers available today. In the practical part is a comparative measurement carried out – in the laboratory and in terrain – using both methods.

Jasové skenování svítidel a světelných zdrojů / Luminance scanning of luminaires and light sources

Ševčík, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)

Diagnostika vibrací mechanického původu v asynchronním motoru / Diagnosis of mechanical vibrations in asynchronous motor origin

Dostál, Martin January 2014 (has links)
Every machine needs to be maintained and controlled, if may work reliably during they service life. Big part of service life of expensive machines are those machines in operation. Vibration diagnostics is type of analysis, that doesn’t need removal of rotation machinery. The vibration, that are created by running machinery, are used as source of information about mode of operation. This master’s thesis contains theoretical analysis of vibration diagnostics and vibration measurements of a particular machine. This thesis contains 3D models of bearings and rotor asynchronous machine, which are created by software Autodesk Inventor 2014. Bearings vibration analysis of this models is performed by software Ansys Workbench.

Modul elektrochemické impedanční spektroskopie pro výzkum vodíkových palivových článků / Measurement module based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy intended for hydrogen fuel cell research

Přecechtěl, Vít January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with diagnostic fuel-cell parameters using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The document begins with brief explanation of fuel-cell operation and its basic principles. Thesis continues with description of fuel-cell voltage generation and influence of charge dual-layer on impedance. After that electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, signals used for perturbation and evaluation of impedance spectrum using Bode a Nyquist plot is described. Next part explains measurement of impedance spectrum using potentiostat in combination with lock-in amplifier or frequency response analyzer. Practical part of thesis is dedicated to electric circuit design of EIS module and software designed for automatic measurement of impedance spectrum. Last part shows results of EIS module testing.

Hodnocení oslnění vnitřních a venkovních osvětlovacích soustav / Evaluation glare of indoor and outdoor lighting systems

Rotrekl, Matěj January 2015 (has links)
Recent years have seen an increasing focus on electric energy consumption as well as ecology in relation to human health. It is crucial to maintain the so called lighting comfort which is influenced by a wide range of lighting parameters, including illuminance, brightness, balance of illuminance, and glare. Thanks to all these parameters we can design lighting systems in such a way as to prevent energy waste and far too rapid deterioration of eyesight. This study therefore focuses on glare evaluation of indoor and outdoor lighting systems. In order to comprehend the issue thoroughly, a detailed description of human eyes and their functions is provided, followed by definitions of glare and types of glare. An overview of different calculations for indoor and outdoor glare is provided, considering the evaluation of daylight glare in terms of complex lighting systems. The study mentions several options involving unconventional methods for measuring glare (brightness). In the analytical part of the study, outdoor glare on Kolejní Street and indoor glare at the Prof. Brauner Hall at VUT measurements were obtained using brightness analyzer (an unconventional method). The thesis is concluded with a comparison of the conventionally and unconventionally obtained measurements, considering their respective advantages.

Speciální metody mikrovlnných vektorových měření / Special Methods for Microwave Vector Measurements

Urbanec, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
Theoretical principles of the sixport measurement method are presented. Description of theoretical design and influence of its parameters on measurement precision follows. Simple sixport measurement system was made and its parameters are described. As the main thesis contribution there is described a new approach to method with more detectors in the system. Mean features are more valid sixports at one specific frequency and frequency bandwidth aviable up to 1 : 100 and more. Such a wideband measurement system was designed for the frequencies between 50 and 2680 MHz and its parameters are presented in the work.

Designing and Development of a Data Logging and Monitoring Tool

Rehman, Habib Ur 15 September 2016 (has links)
Since the mid 90's computer communication has become more and more common in cars and other auto mobiles. CAN based networks with sensors transmitting small data packets are utilized in the automotive industry to operate and supervise vehicles' functionality. To ease communication several higher layer protocols for CAN based networks have been developed. In some applications it is necessary to exchange information between networks using different protocols, and by connecting the two networks to a gateway, the information is translated and forwarded and intercommunication is enabled. This master thesis is conducted at Torqeedo GmbH, Munich. Theme of the thesis was “Designing and Development of a Data Logging and Monitoring Tool”. Term “data logging” refers to the gathering or collection of specific data over a period of time. Monitoring means evaluate the data we are logging. Tools for data logging and monitoring are used in variant application these days. In medical, in-vehicle data logging and environment monitoring. This data could be voltage, current temperature, Time stump, heartbeat of the patient, vehicle fuel level etc. To capture and log data various communication channels used. Such channel varies from simple data cable to satellite link. There are variant protocols used for different communication channels. For our DBHS logging and monitoring tool we are using CANopen protocol. Main goal of this thesis is to develop a tool which can make debugging easy and log connection box data so we can use logged data later on for offline data analysis and simulation purposes.

The measurement of antenna VSWR by means of a Vector Network Analyzer

YANG, LIUJING January 2020 (has links)
The VSWR is an important entity when assessing the properties of an antenna. This report presents measurements of the VSWR, related to antennas, by means of a Vector Network Analyzer. The open/short/load calibration method is used as a preparation before the actual measurement in order to obtain accurate results. The way that the VSWR depends on frequency is illustrated by three measurment methods: direct measurement of the VSWR, by using 𝑆11, or by using the Smith chart. The results are compared and conclusions are drawn.

Aplikace hlubokých zásobníkových automatů v kompilátorech / Application of Deep Pushdown Automata in Compilers

Viktorin, Jiří January 2009 (has links)
In this thesis, I focus on the application of deep pushdown automatons in compilers, their composition in the parser, and the possibility of further recovery. Thanks to these automatons can carry out the expansion of the nonterminals in various depths and thus makes it possible to use other records of expressions.
