Salvador

Anorexia nervosa: un estudio de casos

Zusman, Lillyana 25 September 2017 (has links)
Anorexia Nervosa is an Eating Disorder defined (etimoligacally) as a "nervouse loss of apetite". It is characterized by a conscious, voluntary and categoric attitude of the sick patient to refrain from eating. He/she has a firm conviction of having excess weight which they try to modify by starvation.Through a case study, a distinction between two types of Anorexia Nervosa is proposed: a Structural Anorexia Nervosa -in which an intrapsyhic, primary, arcaic conflic prevails, leading to an isolated, withdrawal conduct- and a Reactive Anorexia Nervosa, in which a later intrafamilial conflict prevails leading, therefore, to a more open personality, compatible with the enviroment.

Battilana Velarde, Andrea 01 December 2016 (has links)
This study aims to identify and analyze the perception of the relationship with parents in young patients with anorexia and bulimia nervosa, as well as investigate and describe the connections established between their current disease status, and relationships with both parents. For this, a qualitative and narrative research was conducted. Interviews were conducted with eight patients with anorexia and bulimia. The interviews focused on the issue of relations with their mothers, fathers and experiences and/or memories about their childhood around early experiences with primary caregivers. It was found that the bond with their mothers and fathers is understood as negligent and violent, and relate the origins of their disease with early experiences as violence at home and sexual abuse.

A repertory grid study of anorexia nervosa in females

Tydeman, Johan Frederik January 1975 (has links)
As an exploratory study, a sample of five anorexia nervosa subjects, diagnosed on standardized criteria, were tested while hospitalized for treatment, on elicited and assigned construct repertory grids, where the latter grid's construction reflected aspects of central interest to the syndrome. The two repertory grids for each subject were processed using Slater's (1972) "INGRID 72 PROGRAM : the principal components analysis for the repertory grid", and comprehensive data is tabulated and discussed with reference to each subject's psychological grid space. A comparison of the efficacy of the two repertory grid measures is discussed and nomothetic data is descriptively presented and viewed in terms of the literature. Suggestions for more refined repertory grid investigation in this area are forwarded.
