O corpus denominado de PisciTerm é constituído de entrevistas com piscicultores, técnicos, engenheiros da pesca, professores especialistas, estudantes e trabalhadores braçais do dia a dia das fazendas, laboratórios e estações de piscicultura. Assim sendo, o objeto de estudo é o léxico especializado e as variantes terminológicas linguísticas e de registro pertencentes à piscicultura. Têm-se, como ferramenta de auxílio para o levantamento, a análise, a edição, a organização e a distribuição dos verbetes, os programas computacionais WordSmith Tools (versão 5.0) e Lexique Pro (versão 3.6). A pesquisa está ancorada nos procedimentos teórico-metodológicos da socioterminologia estabelecidos por Gaudin (1993) e Faulstich (1995, 2001, 2010). O objetivo é documentar a linguagem técnica e as variantes orais dessa área do conhecimento humano, em expansão no Pará, no Brasil e no mundo, de grande relevância ambiental, econômica, nutricional e social, tornando-se uma importante ferramenta tanto para os profissionais da área, quanto para os demais profissionais, e a para todos os interessados pela terminologia da piscicultura. O glossário da piscicultura é composto por 359 verbetes, dentro os quais 212 termos e 147 variantes, delimitadas em três campos semânticos: reprodução induzida, engorda e comercialização. / This project consists of the development of a fish farming terminology glossary, branch of the aquaculture, fish cultivation, in the towns of Belém, Peixe-Boi, São Miguel do Guamá and Igarapé-Açu, in the State of Pará. The corpus, which is named PisciTerm, is madeof interviews with the fish farmers, technicians, fishing engineers, professors, researchers, students and workers in the routines of the farms, laboratories, and fish farming stations. This way, the object of the study is the specialized lexicon and the linguistic terminological variants and registers in the field of fish farming. The computer programs Word Smith Tools (version 5.0) and Lexique Pro (version 3.6) have been used to raise, analyze, edit, organize, and distribute the entries. The research is supported by the socioterminology theoretical-methodology procedures established by Gaudin (1993) and Faulstich (1995, 2001, 2010). The aim is to document the technical language and its oral variants in this field of the human knowledge, which is in expansion in the State of Pará, and that has environmental, economical, nutritional and social relevance, becoming an important tool to the professionals of the area as well as the ones interested in the fishing terminology. The glossary is constituted of 359 entries, among which there are 212 terms and 147 variants, limited to three semantic fields: induced reproduction, fattening and trading.
