Study on Architecture-Oriented Stainless Steel Cold Roll Producing and Marketing Model

Lin, Yu-Feng 28 December 2010 (has links)
As China's stainless steel production capacity has increased since 2005, the world supply of steel products accelerates rapidly. With stainless steel products being included in the early harvest list of the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA), manufacturers in Taiwan can expect the tariff in China to be reduced to zero gradually. Since China itself is expanding its stainless steel production capacity, this shall impact Taiwan¡¦s stainless steel exports a great deal. A large amount of stainless steel is needed for many of China's Eleven Five-Year Constructions which consist of items such as the petrochemical, energy and shipbuilding projects, and policies such as home appliances and automobiles to the countryside. Consequently, enormous business opportunities will be seen for stainless steel in China. However, due to the increase rate of supply is much larger than the increase rate of demand, in the foreseeable future, the oversupply of stainless steel shall become a very serious problem. In this study, we successfully construct the Architecture-Oriented Stainless Steel Cold Roll Producing and Marketing Model (AOSSCRPMM) based on six fundamental diagrams of the structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) architecture. AOSSCRPMM provides an integrated description of structure and behavior of producing and marketing activities in the stainless steel cold roll industry. Organizations, information systems and processes are all integrated in AOSSCRPMM so employees can effectively achieve consensus in corporate communication and ramp up quickly to have a holistic view of the whole enterprise. AOSSCRPMM also helps the stainless steel cold roll industry get better operational qualities for operational management.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Thermal power station Alteration Affairs Management Model

Huang, Rong-Yu 03 January 2012 (has links)
Electricity construction is required for a country¡¦s fundamental economic development. It provides the needed power and plays an important role in modern society. In order to develop sufficient electricity, Taiwan government has launched a construction project in the whole country starting from the year of 2004. The thermal power station is the major source of electricity in Taiwan and will take long time to construct. Based on the guidelines of Executive Yuan¡¥s Public Construction Commission, the construction shall focus on material management system; coordinate, monitor and examine the project; review by routine and check on site; integrate technology and experts from the production field to raise the execution effect and process quality. Alteration of thermal power station consists of generating set and supportive equipment. The construction methodology will determine if the construction can or not be completed on time. With reference by managerial and operational scopes of some enterprises, this thesis sets up Architecture-Oriented Thermal Power Station Alteration Affairs Management Model, abbreviated as AOTPSAAMM, to describe the whole picture for the thermal power station alteration project and further to achieve the aims on controlling schedule and raising knowledge management. AOTPSAAMM contains the architecture of thermal power station alteration construction. It not only describes the coalescence of organizational structure and organizational behavior in enterprise value chains, but also integrates with technology application systems. With duplicating and expanding capabilities, AOTPSAAMM will easily apply to other generating electricity system and create contemporary enterprise excellences.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Semiconductor Manufacturing Company R&D Laboratory Business Strategy Model

Tsai, Chao-hsin 04 January 2012 (has links)
Nowadays, world-wide enterprises have a new situation after the financial crisis in 2008. Environment faced by the enterprises is so sinister that a small mistake may bring fatal collapse. Business strategy becomes an important issue. The business strategy is used to guide the organization and people to the business vision and goals. It makes shareholders, customers, and members know why the enterprise exists, for what and whom they are fighting. Therefore, the first step of the ¡§business strategy management¡¨ is to construct the ¡§business strategy architecture. Business strategy architecture integrates multiple views of an enterprise to achieve the business strategy synergy. Strategy map uses text, graphics, and process-oriented languages to describe the business strategy. However, using these languages to express the business strategy will result in great difficulties of strategy implementation and resources distribution. Because the strategy map is a process-oriented model, it cares more on the organization behavior view and can not integrate with the organization structure view. In this study, we develop an Architecture-Oriented Research & Development Laboratory Business Strategy Model (AORDLBSM) which is based on the six fundamental diagrams of Structure-Behavior Coalescence (SBC) Architecture. AORDLBSM improves the strategy map model in integrating the structure and behavior views. The results of the study show that AORDLBSM is a macro to the micro, from whole to part of the strategy thinking. AORDLBSM integrates organization structure and organization behavior so tightly that it is able to transform implicit knowledge into explicit knowledge. We conclude that AORDLBSM is a description tool that can transform the abstract concept into a real system that enables the organization and people accomplish strategies successfully.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Radar Maintenance and Operation Management Model

Lu, Chih-Hsien 21 December 2011 (has links)
Taiwan Island is surrounded by seas in all directions of its territory. Because of the tortuous coast, harbors and bays, in addition to the government¡¦s policies to mainland China opening gradually, the piecemeal activities of smuggling, illegal immigrations and so on in the early period have become organizational, grouped large-scale ones today. This transition has influenced national security and socially public order. Coast Guard Administration has responsibilities for prevention from smuggling, illegal immigration and attacking crimes. Hence, being the front line staff for law enforcement should know how to apply and build all kinds of high-tech equipment and systems well in order to promote the effectiveness of investigation, surveillance, law enforcement efficiently. Radar system is an efficient instrument for the investigation of smuggling, search and rescue and the defense of national marine right. It can provide the movement of certain targets on seas in twenty-four hours to the staff on duty all day who may ascertain some suspicious scenarios as soon as possible and adopt the way of deploying and placing armed force in advance to keep sea areas in safety. The smooth and reliability of maintaining for radar system both influence on the staff who try to control dynamic targets directly and the dispatch for all subordinate units¡¦ maneuverable manpower indirectly at the same time. Architecture-Oriented Coast Guard Radar Maintenance and Operation Management Model (abbreviated as AORMOMM below) addressed in this study is a practical mold which consists of six fundamental diagrams in accordance to the structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) architecture. It demonstrates multiple perspectives on the maintenance of radar system completely. AORMOMM integrally describes the structure and behavior and helps all related supervisors and employees in an organization keep whole perspectives well for the maintenance and operation of radar system through this model. Because we have already integrated the organization of managing and operating radar system, information systems and the processes of operation into AORMOMM, exercising whom will assist all departments in an organization to communicate with each other in common consensuses efficiently in their work and makes the transmission of information more transparently then help employees obtain better efforts when learning how to deal with their affairs. In addition, taking advantage of AORMOMM to maintain and manage will make governmental organizations gain better qualities when putting the maintenance and operation of radar system into practice.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Auto Electronic Products Manufacturing Quality Management Model

Su, Yuan-ta 11 June 2012 (has links)
In 1950, JUSE invited Dr. Deming, the father of the third industrial revolution, to give a lecture in Japan and he brought up using P-D-C-A to enhance quality in every field. Thereafter, the issue of quality management has become an important part in process control. As an extension of time, flaws and deficiencies are found and revised repeatedly in the original process. After the process becomes more and more complicated and troublesome, not only the effectiveness loses but also the mismanagement always occurs. In such situation, quality management loses its spirit and goal completely. The development of automobile industry in Taiwan has been more than fifty years. Auto manufacturer has promoted the sales of Taiwan car to mainland China successfully and advanced to the world. Auto electronic products manufacturer provides auto manufacturers the electronic products and installation services. Facing outer competition and cooperation manufacture¡¦s requisition for enhancing service quality, it has to made effort to enhance the quality management. However, lots of administrative works which are increased in order to improve the processes of inspection. And many documents of quality inspection increase the complication of procedure and invisible costs such as time and manpower. This study obtains the spirit and goal of quality management via an architecture-oriented auto electronic products manufacturing quality management model (AOAEPMQMM) which uses the structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) methodology. AOAEPMQMM constructs the architecture of quality management by using architecture hierarchy diagram, framework diagram, component operation diagram, component connection diagram, structure-behavior coalescence diagram, and interaction flow diagram. Advantages of AOAEPMQMM are: 1) every staff in company easily understand and react to the relatedness of every unit and corresponding information, 2) achieving organization flattening by reducing unit stratum in quality management and cutting down the nonessential manpower, cost and time, 3) quality management is executed effectively, meanwhile, the organization cost to building company will be reduced in order to enhance the profit, and 4) gaining the auto manufacturer¡¦s satisfaction.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Statistical Process Control Model

Shih, Chao-Hong 12 June 2012 (has links)
Nowadays, facing the severe pressure of globalization and strong demand of high products quality from customers, enterprises in Taiwan are forced to enhance the quality and yield rate of manufactured products in order to gain their competitive edges. An enterprise usually relies on the statistical process control (SPC) software system to achieve this goal. The SPC approach measures, understands, and controls the variation of the products manufacturing process. This study uses the structure-behavior coalescence architecture description language (SBC-ADL) to construct the architecture-oriented statistical process control model (AOSPCM). A model constructed by the SBC-ADL differs from others software model in its using six golden rules which help integrate the structure and behavior of a software system. AOSPCM constructed in this study improved substantially both training and communication endeavors within an enterprise, reduced costs due to estimation errors, requirement uncertainties, and project delays. Overall, AOSPCM benefits a great deal to both developers and users of a software project. In general, most manufacturing and high-tech industries rely heavily on the SPC software system. Therefore, AOSPCM constructed in this study provides a standard model for other software developers to follow. Following the AOSPCM, any SPC software developer shall improve lots of development efforts and cost savings within an enterprise.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Network Product Business Management Model

Kung, Hsing-Yu 19 June 2012 (has links)
The possibility of integrating the ¡§cloud¡¨ concept with web-based services such as email, photo albums, and file storage not only provides web users a better experience, but expands the market for online sales as well. However, as estimated profits climb, difficulties also rises: an increase on raw material costs, strengthened environmental policies, and competition between service providers that makes it even harder to run a business. While these problems are often the main focus of business operation and management, pressure resulting from challenges should not blur the importance of business process reengineering. This study aims to construct an architecture-oriented model for the purpose of network product operational management. This model will provide a detailed description of the components and component operations of the network product business organization, the network product business system, and the relationship between information flow, and the coalescence and interaction of the organization and system. This study will also analyze and compare, in terms of organization, system, and behavior, both the non architecture-oriented and architecture-oriented, on the network product business management. In this study, the architecture-oriented network product business management model (AONPBMM) is based on the theory and application of enterprise architecture; in addition, the model includes the concept of structure-behavior coalescence architecture (SBC architecture) and the six fundamental diagrams. AONPBMM has the advantage of displaying lucidly the structure and operations of the organization, business behaviors, and information flows. It is simple, comprehensible, and communicable. As managers and employees within the enterprise shall easily comprehend the interactions and communications between different sections by using this model, a huge amount of time could be preserved for individual works, and the enterprise would become more competitive.

Wang, Yih-ping 20 August 2012 (has links)
According to the Department of Statistic, there are 163 existing Universities, Colleges and Institutes with 1,352,084 students in the 100th academic year. Under the trend of globalization, Taiwan¡¦s society and high education are facing an enormous change. And as to dealing with those changes Taiwan has to rely on the globalized higher education system to accomplish. Therefore, to expend recruiting aboard students is the key of success for Ministry of Education to enhance the development of globalizing higher education. However, Taiwan is a late bloomer on globalizing the higher education and English is the second language to us. Therefore, problems are generated when working on recruiting international students. As the matter of the fact, the matters of caring and managing international students appear to be essential. This study constructs an architecture-oriented international student management model (AOISCM) using the structure-behavior coalescence architecture description language (SBC-ADL). AOISCM is an international student centered blueprint which includes six fundamental diagrams: architecture hierarchy diagram, framework diagram, component operation diagram, component connection diagram, structure-behavior coalescence diagram, and interaction flow diagram. Comparing with existing international student care and management model from various kinds of views, all results demonstrate that AOISCM is superior to the existing model. AOISCM covers the organization structure and caring behavior. By this model we are able to see the relationship between international students and the universities, and show the whole picture of the caring and managing international students. Therefore, using AOISCM on caring and managing international students will help universities to meet the high proficiency on reaching an agreement on international student¡¦s communication. Last and not least, AOISCM shall clarify the duties for each divisions and flexible sources allocation for office executives.

Study on Business Architecture Reengineering ¡VUsing T Company as a Case Study

Chen, Ta-wei 15 June 2006 (has links)
For decades, the scope of an enterprise becomes huge day by day. In order to adapt to the rapid changing environments, it is necessary that an enterprise considers the re-engineering of organizational structures and functional processes altogether. The enterprise's administrators, while re-enginerring enterprises, need an applicable business architecture to be the Model. While setting up the business architecture, we must dialyse such factors as organizational structures, functional processes, etc. to build up the most suitable strategy. While re-enginerring enterprises, a better result comes out if organizational structures and functional processes are considered altogether. Currently, business re-engineerings adopted by an enterprise belong to process-oriented business re-engineerings. Process-oriented business re-engineerings focus mainly on an enterprise¡¦s functional processes and neglect the relationship between organizational structures and functional processes. The achievement is always not so good as expected. Embracing organizational structures and functional processes in concert and harmony, it has offered and organized advantages received after business re-engineering, the best shared practice and experience. This research probes into architecture-oriented business re-engineerings. This research leads business re-engineering and starts from the process-oriented business re-engineering that most enterprises choose now. And from ¡§organizational structures and functional processes in concert and harmony,¡§ it carries on business re-engineering necessary terms to succeed in to prove, still lies in: ¡§organizational structures and functional processes in concert and harmony,¡¨ ¡§tactics architecture of globality,¡¨ ¡§carry on the re-engineering to the cardinal or key architecture,¡¨ ¡§trans-departmental architecture re-engineering groups,¡¨ ¡§comprehensible enterprise architecture perspective,¡¨ ¡§understanding and analysing business architecture,¡¨ etc. This is exactly one of the elements that architecture-oriented business re-engineering needs too. It is expected that it can lead to an important reference that the business re-engineering requires. According to the above conclusion, we find that an enterprise can be benefited by the contribution of this research. It also provides administrators or executives many suggestions that support implementing business re-engineering of an enterprise. Key Words: Business Architecture, Architecture-Oriented Business Re-engineering, Process-Oriented Business Re-engineering, Organizational Structure, Functional Porcesss
