Study on an Architecture-Oriented Software Testing Management Model

Li, Fu-shiau 07 June 2007 (has links)
There are many approaches in testing software. To effectively test a complicated software product, it is not merely assessing the software development process, but grasping the quality in all manners. Managing software test is an extremely important topic in testing software. Nowaday, V Model is mostly used as the Software Testing Management Model. Therefore, this thesis targets V Model as the one, which should be improved. This research suggests that testing software needs a simple and clear management model to follow. If it does not know "what to do" or "how to go", then the testing results often violate the requirement. Thereafter, it also produces very serious problems as to the quality of the software. Through collecting: academic documents, system and architecture definitions, software test management theory, software testing standard norms, software testing management model, etc., this thesis channels into a software test management with the concept of architecture, proposes the Architecture-Oriented Software Testing Management Model (AOSTMM). AOSTMM is capable of describing "what to do" or "how to go" in software testing. This is the contribution of this research.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Customer Relationship Management Model

Chi-Tse, Lu 14 January 2008 (has links)
In recent years, owing to the network, the information science and technology, and the telecommunications industry¡¦s popularization, make the interaction between the enterprise and customer more frequent. The more rigid marketing to customer, the higher quality of product and service can be applied to the customer request. How to dig the high profit rate customer in the general customer group, and maintain good the interaction relationship among the customers, and detain the customers who already has, then becomes a key factor to adopt the Customer Relationship Management (CRM). In this research, we find that most CRM literature focused on the case study, or adopted the key factor discussion and the theory of CRM elaboration. The main purpose of our research is to define and develop an Architecture-Oriented Customer Relationship Management Model (AOCRMM). This model provides the information and the way of construction of CRM, so the entire construction of CRM can be easily understood. In this model, the sufficient defines structure element, service of structure element, and behavior. By unifying structure viewpoints, behavior viewpoints, and resources viewpoints, we then construct the structure behavior coalescence for a CRM system. We conclude that AOCRMM, being an integration model, enables enterprise organization, IT system, internal business processes, etc. to be a single interface to customers. Also AOCRMM makes the organization behavior be presented easily the resources be used effortlessly, and have a good communication effect of organization and external environment.

Wang, Chih-Chien 14 June 2008 (has links)
It happens quite often that most Business Intelligence System (BIS) projects are never near to their completion. While there are many reasons for such high failure rate, the major unsuccessful factors of BIS result in ¡§Member¡¨, ¡§Organization¡¨, and ¡§Technique¡¨. Especially, it seems there is not yet a model and methodology gluing together the interrelationship among people, source of information, and BIS. This thesis aims to assist the enterprise by defining a model of Architecture-Oriented Analysis of Business Intelligence Systems¡¦ Requirement which helps analyze the system with ease. The model emphasizes on the structure behavior coalescence. Using this approach of structure behavior coalescence, developers would devise and adjust the BIS more flexible and adaptable. Architecture-Oriented Analysis-Model is a model which includes many viewpoints, which help analyze several problems caused by mixed BIS products. The main purpose of this research is to achieve Business Intelligence Systems¡¦Requirement through the establishment of the model, and raise the strike-rate and efficiency on the construction of any BIS.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Enterprise Resource Management Model

Chen, Hui-li 27 June 2009 (has links)
Enterprise resources include organization departments and information systems Enterprise resource management examines resources owned by an enterprise and develops competitive advantages for an enterprise. This research comes out with architecture-oriented enterprise resource management model, abbreviated as AOERMM, to describe all enterprise value chains occurring from the organization departments and information systems within an enterprise. In a value chain, there are ¡§primary activities¡¨ and ¡§supportive activities.¡¨ AOERMM is an integrated model which is able to present all business views. Most importantly, an enterprise¡¦s profit depends on its performing these activities efficiently. AOERMM must meet customer requirement and firm-strategy to build up all business activities. AOERMM uses six golden rules such as architecture hierarchy diagram, structure element diagram, structure element service diagram, structure element connection diagram, structure behavior coalescence diagram, and interaction flow diagram to build up the enterprise resource management architecture. With AOERMM, we can easily and quickly conquer any challenge forthcoming from the market. Therefore, process-oriented is out of date. Architecture-oriented is on the rise for tomorrow¡¦s enterprise resource management.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Supply Chain Information Sharing Management Model

Liang, Bih-Jing 26 June 2010 (has links)
In the competitive environment that companies not only target on the improvement the efficiency in their delivery system but also redefine how supply chain should function in order to operate more effective from original supply to final consumption. A lot of firms have now cooperated together in the supply chain instead of fighting alone to deal with the competition in this global environment market place. Therefore, in the supply chain management, information sharing is important to effective coordination between partners. This research aims to develop an Architecture-Oriented model for the Supply Chain Information Sharing management. In this model, the interaction between organizations, structure elements, systems, and information sharing for the Supply chain management are well defined. Adopting this model, management can understand and control the entire supply chain more easily. Also, this model can help management make the better decision so management can more effective to collect the important information of organizational structures and behaviors for what are needed. Architecture-Oriented Supply Chain Information Sharing Management Model (AOSCISMM) is based on the enterprise architecture theory and method. Using the structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) approach to simulate the Supply Chain Information Sharing Management Model, we are able to fully express the situation of organizational structure, business processes, and information systems clearly to reduce business reengineering risks. The major achievement of this research is to advise a new model for better supply chain information sharing management and also bring the new vision for the supply chain management of information sharing.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Customer Relationship Management Model

Lan, Lan 06 January 2011 (has links)
Since recent financial crisis triggered world economy recession, most of the corporations are facing financial downturn. To survive in the recession, some measurements are taken to increase revenue and reduce expense. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is one of those measurements which are used by corporation managers to enhance business operations and retain old customers. In Lee¡¦s research, 70% corporations adopting CRM failed. Introducing a system into business operation is not the only key point; customer-centered corporation culture and structure are some other key points. Successful CRM operation coordinates CRM strategy, organization, process, tool and final evaluation to support services continuously. This study focuses on constructing an acceptable CRM model to minimize the investments of time, money and man power when adopting CRM, and reduce the possibility of failure. In this study, we follow Enterprise Architecture (EA) theory and use the Structure-Behavior Coalescence Architecture Description Language (SBC-ADL) as a tool to create the architecture-oriented CRM model (AOCRMM). SBC-ADL integrates the views of structure, behavior and others, so that it integrates organizational structures and organizational behaviors into a single model. Comparing to traditional CRM models which organizational structures and organizational behaviors are separated, the AOCRMM provides a more holistic way, than traditional CRM models, to describe how the CRM operates.
