Study of an Architecture-Oriented B2B e-Marketplace

Chen, Ching-Sung 11 July 2007 (has links)
In this study, we first explore various type of the B2B e-Marketplace. After that, we induce basic, common, scalable of the B2B e-Marketplace services. Following, we describe the user behaviors of these services. Finally, we construct an Architecture-Oriented B2B e-Marketplace Framework (AOB2BF) by the Architecture-Oriented system development method, comparing with Non-AOB2BF by Non-Architecture-Oriented system development method. This research concludes that AOB2BF is able to decrease the system development errors and document transformation, henceforth reducing system development complexity and costs. In AOB2BF a complete system architecture hierarchy is totally represented. In such situation, a system developer will be able to construct his own B2B e-Marketplace with all aspects considered. In this thesis, advantages of AOB2BF are fully verified and validated by logic. Future research, according to our contribution, is suggested to implement a real AOB2BF system.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Network Management Model

Huang, Hsin-Wei 16 January 2008 (has links)
In the past several years, the usage of network is getting more and more popular and various types of network applications also have vigorous advancement. Because the benefits which network applications produced obtain a lot of enterprise's attention, each enterprise is eager to introduce the network to unify each kind of information system, and expects to achieve the synthesis effect as well. At present, the network system has been an indispensable infrastructure in the enterprise, but how to make it effective becomes a tough issue in an enterprise¡¦s business plan. In 1997, the International Standard Organization proposed the OSI Network Management Model, is also named FCAPS Model, to apply on the data network. FCAPS Model is mainly to define the functional scope of the network management system. Though it is easy to understand, it does not have the deeper explanations how to achieve these functions. Also, FCAPS fails to tell who should do what in a network system. As a result of such deficiencies, the enterprise often doesn¡¦t know how to do to apply FCAPS into the planning of a network management system. This research develops a network management architecture description language (NMADL) by using the concept of system architecture to construct an architecture-oriented network management model (AONMM). AONMM is an integrated model which consists of the viewpoint of structure and behavior. By integrating the structure and behavior into one unity, it clearly and completely describes the network management system. Furthermore, this research analyzes the problems of FCAPS Model and compares it with AONMM to verify AONMM¡¦s superiority. AONMM is a valuable referenced model for planning, analyzing and designing network management systems.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Transmission line and Substation Affairs Management Model

Gao, Da-Jin 21 June 2009 (has links)
Electricity construction is required for a country¡¦s fundamental economic development. It provides the needed power and plays an important role in modern society. In order to construct a complete electricity system, Taiwan government will launch the 7th electricity transmission and distribution project in the whole country starting from the year of 2010. The transmission and distribution construction is an interface to transmit high voltage electricity in Taiwan and will take long time to complete. Based on the guidelines of Executive Yuan¡¥s Public Construction Commission, the construction shall focus on material management system; coordinate, monitor and examine the project; review by routine and check on site; integrate technology and experts from the production field to raise the execution effect and process quality. Construction of transmission and distribution consists of substations and circuits. The construction methodology will determine if the construction can be or not completed on time. With reference by managerial and operational scopes of some enterprises, this thesis sets up Architecture-Oriented Transmission and Substation Affairs Management Model, abbreviated as AOTSAMM, to describe the whole picture for the transmission and distribution project and further to achieve the aims on controlling schedule, raising knowledge management, etc. AOTSAMM contains the architecture of transmission and distribution construction. It not only describes the organizational structure and organizational behavior in enterprise value chains, but also integrates with technology application systems. With duplicating and expanding capabilities, AOTSAMM will easily apply to other electricity system and create contemporary enterprise excellences.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Marketing Management Model

Huang, Kuo-en 30 May 2010 (has links)
Marketing management plays a very important and professional role in the enterprises. Therefore, marketing management is getting more and more popularity among the enterprises in recent years. Several aspects on marketing, such as technical documents, research and development plans, product quotations, are considered as core assets in one company. How to effectively realize marketing management has become a key for a company¡¦s survival. Up to date, several world-wide well known marketing management models such as Michael Porter flow diagram, ISO 9000 flow diagram, and Enterprises flow diagram all embrace the process-oriented approach which treats the system¡¦s structure view and behavior view separately. Separating structure view from behavior view during the planning phase may cause many difficulties, such as uneven distribution of resources, bad risk management and so on, when working on the later realization and verification phase of the marketing management system¡¦s construction. This research utilizes architecture-oriented modeling methodology so that structure view and behavior view are coalesced when decomposing the marketing management system to obtain structure elements and behaviors deriving from interactions among these structure elements. By adopting structure-behavior coalescence, abbreviated as SBC, which includes ¡§architecture hierarchy diagram", "structure element diagram", "structure element operation diagram", "structure element connection diagram", "structure-behavior coalescence diagram", and "interactive flow diagram", this research constructs a complete architecture-oriented marketing management model, abbreviated as AOMMM. This research is the first study using architecture-oriented approach to construct the marketing management system. Also, AOMMM solves many difficulties caused by the process-oriented approach when constructing marketing management systems. These are the contributions of this research.

Study of Architecture-Oriented Production/Marketing Management

Chang, Wen-ming 22 January 2007 (has links)
The production and marketing management is the primary activities of the enterprise value chain; what is more, the performance of it has become the most important key point of enterprise management to create profit and competition. Hence, by controlling the enterprise total resources and tightly negotiation between production and marketing departments, to reinforce the mutual understanding and achieve the best performance from limited resource, it has formed the essential field criteria for manufacture companies to manage in the variable business circumstance. Thus, for the present production and marketing management activities, it is the necessary to describe more clearly in organization interfaces among the departments, and reveal full scope of total resource. For top management give a strong support to make the right decision. This Architecture-Oriented (AO) study uses structure-and-behavior-in-one-unity, building up an Architecture-Oriented Production/Marketing (AOPM) management model, and establish the model build-up rules to provide the build-up sequence to follow. By introducing practical Production/Marketing management examples in implementation of Architecture-Oriented to actual cases, through compare the conventional Process- Oriented Production/Marketing (POPM) with the research AOPM to obtain a another brand new model for enterprise management consideration. This research is divided into three parts (1) concept of the Architecture-Oriented (2) establish the model build-up rules to provide the build-up sequence to follow (3) build up an AOPM management model. The main contribution is that AOPM management model contains structure view, behavior view, resource view, organization view and the other point of views. To compare the AOPM management model with the conventional POPM management model through different views in organization function, interface and resource consolidation, show that the APOM management model is much better then conventional POPM management model to meet enterprise management demand. This model is net only easy to establish but also in controlling the build-up rules. So it is helpful for enterprise to introduce Architecture-Oriented management model as a useful tool.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Project Management

Chang, Chia-san 23 January 2007 (has links)
With the technology advance day by day, it is becoming the common way to accomplish the challenges of difficult engineering by project management method. Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) theory is competent, why is it difficult to push this theory when face practical works? Today, most project managerial are according to the nine major knowledge fields of PMBOK and five major processes, though it is the methodology of a theory, the practical demands for projects seemed too complicated. Because the project manager often unable to bring the skills into full play even be the problem of the project, and members of the project lack basic understanding for the project. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a simple but effective way, overcoming the Non-Architecture-Oriented Project Management (NAOPM) approach, to accord with the practices of the project. Architecture is structure and process in one unity. Architecture-Oriented Project Management (AOPM) is namely the project managerial model that project managerial structure elements and project managerial processes unity. From the structure view, AOPM can be resolved out a lot of structure elements and " People " is the most important structure element. The structure elements have their own operations and interactions among them generate processes. There are three golden rules to build the AOPM model. First, select the structure elements of project management. Second, set up the operations of the structure elements. Third, combine structure and process in one unity finally. Comparing AOPM with NAOPM logically, the former one could assign jobs in an easy way. Therefore, each member of the project could fully understand his responsibility and reduce the whole risks. Besides, AOPM is able to describe the entire project completely. Because of the ability to cope with the variable environment, it could reduce effectively the waste caused by repeat working and inobservance. For one simple and practical method to manage a project, and AOPM is approved in fact to be an extremely good one. For any enterprise, the key factor of a project¡¦s success relies on the leaders and individuals. NAOPM failing to assign managed rules to each individual for a project is elaborated in the context. The major contribution of this research is to integrate structure and process in one unity. In the future, we suggest a software implementation of AOPM tool is developed. Afterward, we can use this AOPM software tool to guide an enterprise the planning, execution and management of a project.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Business Intelligence system with Balanced Scorecard

Liu, Tser-Shyan 15 January 2008 (has links)
In the modern competitive business activity, information collection becomes very important to support enterprises management groups to make decision. Many enterprises consider knowledge management and application are very important issues in the Knowledge Economy era. Therefore, Business Intelligence System becomes more popular and adopted by many enterprises like the flames added by the fuel in Knowledge Economy era. Enterprise management with Balanced Scorecard is also introduced by well-known scholars as well at this stage. The combination of Business Intelligence System and Balanced Scorecard becomes more efficient for enterprise management and pushes the modern enterprises forward to the Open Knowledge Economy era. The main purpose of this research is to adopt architecture theory to construct the Architecture Oriented Business Intelligence system with Balanced Scorecard Model(AOBIBSCM). This model provides an efficient construction method for the constructors to control the system with the whole system overview. The constructors can easily find out the Structure elements, Services of structure elements, Relationship of structure elements, Structure Behavior Coalescence, in order to compare with the real world behaviors and allow constructors validate and realize the sequence of behaviors. The tight combination of structure point of view, behavior point of view and other points of view integrates structure and behavior neatly, making it far superior than Non-Architecture designed method which separates structure and behavior. Non-Architecture construction method is easy to lead the structure and behavior to different routes and wastes time to re-design and adjust the system. This research adopts logical theorem to construct AOBIBSCM. It constructs (1)AOBIBSCM¡Aand describes (2)Non-AOBIBSCM(NAOBIBSCM) construction method, then (3)Compare AOBIBSCM and NAOBIBSCM, then show the benefit of AOBIBSCM. The contribution of this research is to construct AOBIBSCM which includes Structure element diagrams, Hierarchy of structure element diagrams, Service of structure element diagrams, Relationship of structure element diagrams, Structure and behavior coalescence diagram, Sequence diagrams. Our research furnishes an efficient construction method for enterprises to install AOBIBSC, and reduces the construction risk and cost, and provides more discussion space of the system real implementation, testing, construction and performance tuning.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Petroleum Business Management Model

Su, Yu-jen 30 December 2010 (has links)
Down the ages, business management has been intensely discussed, but to implement is not always correct. The organization is like a building. A great building needs a great plan which is usually called a blueprint. Blueprint describes the relationship among components of the building. And the workers must follow the plan to finish the building. A decision-maker is an architect of the enterprise; he must have an enterprise-blueprint inside his mind first, then to govern the enterprise effectively later. This study focuses on constructing an Architecture-Oriented Petroleum Business Management Model (AOPBMM) which uses structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) architecture to model the organization of petroleum business. By integrating the organizational structure and organizational, AOPBMM is able to achieve a desirable blueprint of an enterprise. Overall, since SBC architecture is good at describing complicated business and makes the petroleum business easy to understand AOPBMM helps an enterprise communicate better and execute faster.

Study of Architecture-Oriented Container Yard Management Model

Ker, Jiunn-hsiung 22 December 2011 (has links)
In these days, container yards always operate in the face of large-scale, high volume, and shipping companies requesting a large number of containers to be handled in a short time. It then becomes an important issue that container yards are able to maximize the operational capability under the limited land to meet the ship company¡¦s "accurate, fast, stable and cheaper" demand. In addition to having the general functions of storage yards, container yards, due to close to wharf berth line, also need to support the loading and unloading of containers. In such a situation, container yards shall play an important indicator of ports¡¦ operational efficiency. In this study, we construct an Architecture-Oriented Container Yard Management Model (AOCYMM) which is based on the six fundamental diagrams of Structure-Behavior Coalescence (SBC) architecture. AOCYMM, not only provides an integrated description of structure and behavior on the container yard operations, but also helps the employees within the enterprise easily manage the container yard business. AOCYMM covers all structure and behavior of the whole container yard operations. Therefore, AOCYMM describes the complete picture of container yards so that every employee shall understand and communicate well to achieve the high quality and efficiency of overall management. Keywords: Architecture-Oriented Container Yard Management Model, Structure-Behavior Coalescence (SBC) Architecture

Study on Architecture-Oriented Product Lifecycle Management Model

Chuang, Shun-Ju 12 June 2012 (has links)
A new product progresses through a sequence of stages from its introduction in the market and its profitability, this sequence is known as the ¡§product life cycle (PLC).¡¨ However, before a product enter the market during the conceive phase, there are three major elements: product data conception, product data collaboration, and product data management. These elements allow a company to track product development through portfolio management and to maintain sales product configuration and market documentation through centralize database. The essence of product lifecycle management (PLM) helps a company increase product revenues through reduced design phase period and prototyping costs due to changes. Currently, the PLM uses a process-oriented model where its strategies are inefficient due to lack of comprehensive consideration and fast rate of change in market needs. As a result, resources are wasted and product competitiveness is affected when the entire process is altered. Thus, this research presents the architecture-oriented product lifecycle management model (AOPLMM) as a solution to deficiencies of the process-oriented model. The goal of AOPLMM is to establish product design development based on multi-needs of the market. Overall, AOPLMM is able to integrate design organization (such as requirement specification, intellectual property right, and green environmental design) and information system for product development knowledge in defining responsibilities of each division and collaboration among them. AOPLMM includes six fundamental diagrams: the ¡§architecture hierarchy diagram,¡¨ the ¡§framework diagram,¡¨ the ¡§component operation diagram,¡¨ the ¡§component connection diagram, the ¡§structure-behavior coalescence diagram,¡¨ and the ¡§interaction flow diagram.¡¨ To construct an efficient model through information management system has several advantages such as flexibility in product design, immediate response to market needs, simplification of product development, decline in enterprise cost, and increase in competitiveness. Therefore, an architecture-oriented model is the clear choice for product lifecycle management.
