Lietuvoje pastaruoju metu daugėja neįgaliųjų studentų aukštosiose mokyklose. Nors įstatyminėje bazėje yra deklaruojamas aukštojo mokslo prieinamumas, studijuodami aukštojoje mokykloje neįgalieji studentai susiduria su tokiomis problemomis, kaip fizinės, būsto (bendrabučių), informacinės aplinkos (literatūra Brailio raštu, įgarsintos knygos ir t.t.) nepritaikymas, specialiųjų paslaugų nebuvimas, asistentų poreikis, neigiamas kai kurių akademinės bendruomenės narių požiūris ir kt. Anglijoje šioje srityje yra dirbama jau kelis dešimtmečius: sukurta specialiųjų poreikių tenkinimo sistema ir yra santykinai didelis studentų su negalia skaičius aukštosiose mokyklose. Šio tyrimo tikslas – palyginti Anglijos bei Lietuvos ekspertų požiūrį į aukštojo mokslo prieinamumą neįgaliesiems šiose šalyse. Šiam tikslui pasiekti buvo atliktas kokybinis tyrimas, kurio metu buvo apklausti keturi ekspertai – studentai su negalia ir dėstytojai – iš Anglijos ir Lietuvos. Tyrimas parodė, jog didžiausios problemos, su kuriomis susiduria neįgalieji studentai, Anglijoje yra neigiamas kai kurių dėstytojų požiūris. Lietuvoje didžiausia neįgaliųjų studentų problema yra fizinės aplinkos nepritaikymas. Ir Anglijoje, ir Lietuvoje aukštosios mokyklos rūpinasi neįgaliaisiais studentais. Although the accessibility of higher education is stated in national legislation, disabled students still encounter problems such as physical inaccessibility of their environment, a lack of adapted training and educational materials (literature in braille, audio books, etc.), living conditions (e.g. in dormitories) not adapted to their specific needs, a need of assistants and a negative attitude of members of the academic community. England has been working on this domain for several decades. The number of disabled students in higher education institutions in the England is relatively high. Moreover, a system of disabled students special needs facilities has been created. The goal of this survey is to compare the attitude of experts in England and Lithuania towards higher education accessibility for disabled students in their countries. To reach this goal, qualitative research was implemented. Four experts from England and Lithuania – disabled students and tutors – were interviewed. The survey revealed that the biggest problems disabled students are facing in England is a negative attitude from some members of teaching staff, while in Lithuania they are facing inaccessibility of their physical environment. Apibendrinant statistinius duomenis gauta išvada, kad teikiamų paskolų portfelis iš Valstybinio studijų fondo nuolat auga. Galima teigti, kad Lietuvos studentai drąsiai naudojasi teikiamomis fondo paslaugomis. Atlikto tyrimo duomenys parodė, kad daugiausia gautų paskolų Lietuvos edukologijos universiteto Socialinių mokslų fakulteto nuolatinių studijų formos studentai skiria mokesčiui už studijas. 72 proc. respondentų nežino apie Valstybinį studijų fondą ir jo veiklą, todėl tyrimo dėmesio centre buvo informatyvumo didinimas. Tiriamieji įvardino, kad sudėtingas yra informacijos apie fondą pasiekimas universitetų svetainėse, todėl, didinant Valstybinio studijų fondo efektyvumą, reikėtų pradėti nuo informatyvumo didinimo. Manoma, kad reikėtų didesnį dėmesį skirti ne tik studentų, bet ir abiturientų, informavimui apie Valstybinį studijų fondą bei ateinančių studentų galimybių panaudojimo aiškinimui. / Summary statistics obtained by finding the portfolio of the loans from the State Education Fund is growing. It can be stated that Lithuanian students safely use the provided funding. The survey showed that the majority of the loans in Lithuania University of Education Faculty of Social Sciences full-time studies students give the tuition fee. 72 % of respondents do not know about the State Education Fund and its activity. Therefore, the investigation focused on the informativeness criteria. The respondents mentioned that it is very difficult to find the information about the fund on university sites, thus increasing the efficiency of the State Education Fund Should start with informativeness increasing.
