PLODNOST KRAV CHOVANÝCH V TECHNOLOGIÍCH S AUTOMATIZOVANÝM DOJENÍM / FERTILITY OF COWS KEPT IN MODERN TECHNOLOGY

VRBOVÁ, Aneta January 2012 (has links)
level of cattle breeding is putting growing demands on milk production and it is closely related with fertility. The aim of this work was based on data analysis to determine fertility of dairy cows bred in modern technology in the context of the quality of nutrition, stabling and milk production and determine the level of the relationship between fertility and milk production. Monitoring herds proceeded in two breeds from May 2010 to December 2011. The data was obtained from the reports for monitoring performance, and the accompanying sheets cattle and T4C program (Time for Cows), which records detailed data on milking cows. Overall, more than 19,000 data entries on fertility and yield of cows were statistically evaluated. It was found that dairy cows kept in modern technology, which uses AMS (Automatic Milking Systems) the interval 368.97 days and 406.27 days, which is about 30 or 15.72 less compared with the average of Czech Republic. The value of service period in selected farms was 109.19 and 119.58 days. Compared to the national average is about 12.80 and 3.31 on shorter SP. Insemination interval of 62.63 and 81.06 days was again a 20.36 and 1.93 days shorter than the average insemination interval in Czech Republic in 2010. Correlation relationship between milk production and fertility was found to be statistically significant only for insemination interval rxy = - 0.302+ service period and rxy = 0.402+. The hypothesis, that using AMS does not have a negative effect on fertility was confirmed.

Camera cleaning study for Automatic Milking System utilizing steam at DeLaval International AB

Jongschaap, Tiemen, Smit, Rick January 2013 (has links)
The VMS is a robot milking system of DeLaval International AB. It has been observed that a layer of residue remains on the camera lens after cleaning. The camera is used to locate the teat and apply the milking cups. Even though after automatically cleaning with a sponge, it is very difficult to remove this layer. This study has been conducted to find out if a new cleaning station utilizing steam can have better cleaning results concerning the mentioned problem. A test setup was built to perform several tests. The boiler is capable to supply steady steam with the same pressure and temperature every milking cycle, which is approximately 8 minutes. Tests further on showed that the inside camera housing temperature not exceed 35°C, which remains under the required limit of 50°C. After the steam has cleaned the lens compressed blows and cools the remaining droplets left behind. The comparison between the sponge and the steam cleaning method confirms that the steam cleaning method is able to remove the contaminations more sufficient than the sponge. One of the contaminations is milk which is the worst kind. Studies showed that milk tends to denaturize when heated above 60°C. This could form a layer of burned proteins on the lens.

Užitkovost a frekvence dojení za pomoci robotů / Performance and frequency of milking using robots

ŠNAJDR, Eduard January 2011 (has links)
Milk production is one of the most important parts of agriculture. Task of this paper was to examinate relation between milking frequency and total dairy production in Automatic Milking Systems. The thesis evaluates impact of selected factors, such as lactation stage, parity and season of calving, on dairy production and milking frequency. Total of 44,000 records of milk yield from 3 farms was analysed. Data was collected from 2009 to 2011. Relation between milk yield and milking frequency was prooved. The milk production from a cow rises with parity and is highest in second stage of lactation (cca 60th day after calving). Environment is one of very important factors affecting milk yield. Automatic milking system does not deteriorate milking parameters comparing to traditional way of milking.

Moresco, Gabriel January 2016 (has links)
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of AMS adopting in a dairy farm in the municipality of Castro - Paraná, through the identification and analysis of value activities that influence the "cost drivers" of Porter (1989) and compare with two dairy farms with similar profile, but with the Conventional Milking System (CMS). From this context, this study aims to assess how this technology option supports the development of competitive strategies in dairy farms. It was used the case study method, through semi-structured interviews, consultation with secondary data and direct observation. Analysing the value activities in each cost driver explored at the dairy farm that adopted AMS, It was possible established mainly that: a) there was a reduction of labour via percentage increase in productivity; b) reduced spending on veterinary care of the herd through automatic analysis of milk by the robot at the time of milking, identifying animals with health problems and, c) increased herd productivity through increasing the number of milking per cow per day. In particular, the adoption of AMS in dairy farm studied impacted positively on cost control. However, there are no-economic factors responsible for acceptance and satisfaction in the adoption of this system, as social reasons (improved the life quality of employees and owner through freedom to monitor the milking at distance, where appropriate). In addition, it was noted that dairy farms with AMS in the initial stage achieve to labour productivity levels similar to the dairy farms with CMS on a large scale. Therefore, as the property with AMS expands the robotic units, to the point to get near of the animal scale in dairy farms with CMS, the labour productivity index with AMS dairy farms become higher. It was concluded that the adoption of the AMS caused changes in some value activities in the adaptation period and thereafter. Comparing the dairy farm with AMS face the two dairy farms with CMS 1 and 2, there are some similarities in the value activities of some cost drivers, demonstrating that the decision to opt for this milking system goes beyond economic and production issues, but also includes social issues (quality of life).

Pieno kokybės ir sudėties rodiklių palyginimas melžiant karves melžimo aparatais ir melžimo robotais X ūkyje / A Comparison of the milk quality and nutritional components using automatic and robotic milking systems on farm X

Ivanauskaitė, Laisvida 18 June 2013 (has links)
That is one of the highest production rates per capita in the world. Dairy farming is crucial to local economy. In order to achieve higher milk quality and minimize expenditures more dairy farms are investing and adapting new technologies: milking pipelines and fully automated robotic milking. The first fully automated robotic milking line in Lithuania was used implemented in 2007. In the researched farm the system was implemented in 2009. The main goal of research was to compare milk composition and quality in the research farm X by milking cows to pipelines and using fully automated robotic milking. The main nutrients that compose milk are: proteins, fats and carbohydrates(lactose, minerals and biologically active materials, vitamins, enzymes and others). The way that cows are milked has high impact on milk yields and nutrients, so the best milking technology is essential for optimal results. The research on how to eliminate human labor during milking process has been done. In order to increase the quality and yields of cow's milk by modernizing the dairy farms and using the fully automated robotic milking. It was concluded that by using fully automated robotic milking milk yield increases by 15% on average. The milk production is increased by more frequent milking and cattle welfare. In the small dairy farms with... [to full text]

Zjišťování kvality a standardnosti mléka u automatických systémů dojení / Quality assurance and its standardization of milk in automatic milking systems

HRŮŠA, Jan January 2013 (has links)
Thesis deals with the finding reliable measurement of the quality of milk by automatic milking system. The observed reliability of the system to measure the quality of milk is a significant parameter for herd management and also an effective tool for farmers. Thanks notice on udder health in the program T4C farmer is able to detect a number of health problems or deficiencies in the herd before they break out in full force. This gives the farmer more options to treat dairy cows, such as inflammation, at the very beginning and as such can successfully use homeopathic treatment.
