Partindo da premissa de que o espa?o ? atuante e interfere nas rela??es interpessoais, corrobora com a humaniza??o em sa?de ao destacar os efeitos fisiol?gicos e emocionais da luz natural como facilitadores do processo de reabilita??o, ao incorporar locais para inspirar, estimular e auxiliar a recupera??o. No Brasil as normas para projetos hospitalares n?o contemplam o conforto luminoso. Em projetos hospitalares, os sistemas de abertura s?o definidos apenas para seguirem as exig?ncias do c?digo de obras, que n?o consideram a paisagem, mas apenas a ventila??o e insola??o; e os n?veis de ilumina??o s?o tratados a partir de recomenda??es para ilumina??o artificial. A Pol?tica Nacional de Humaniza??o da Assist?ncia ? Sa?de apresenta o conforto ambiental como uma das prioridades. Todavia, n?o apresenta diretrizes para alcan??-la. Neste contexto, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar a qualidade lum?nica nos espa?os terap?uticos de gin?sios de reabilita??o a partir da satisfa??o dos profissionais a fim de identificar as prefer?ncias humanas diante das vari?veis: aspectos t?cnico-construtivos, rela??o com o exterior, rela??o visual interna e elementos de qualidade. Para isso, adotou-se como estrat?gia de pesquisa a Avalia??o P?s-Ocupa??o (T?cnico Funcional) por meio de uma abordagem multim?todos, que contemplou um estudo de caso no gin?sio de reabilita??o do Centro de Reabilita??o Infantil, Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, e um estudo de refer?ncia no Centro de Reabilita??o SARAH, Unidade Fortaleza, Cear?. Os resultados apontam que a defini??o dos sistemas de aberturas deve considerar fatores externos e internos do edif?cio, como a paisagem natural dispon?vel no entorno imediato e as atividades realizadas. A APO constatou a prefer?ncia dos profissionais pela privacidade visual em detrimentos aos demais aspectos analisados. Portanto, a defini??o de atributos ambientais desej?veis deve considerar aspectos t?cnicos, funcionais, sociais e culturais. Assim, espera-se que este estudo possa contribuir para a discuss?o sobre conforto visual e gerar insumos para futuros projetos ou reformas em Centros de Reabilita??o Infantil, que n?o devem ser projetados como hospitais. / This study addresses the environmental quality in therapeutic spaces for children's rehabilitation. The assumption that space is active and interfere in interpersonal relationships, highlights the importance of natural light to the hospital architecture, to foster the creation of environments that encourage and assist in the recovery of patients in the rehabilitation process. Therefore, interferes with health humanization through positive actions in the physiological and emotional effects of natural light, as facilitators of the health recovery process. In Brazil hospital openings systems projects are built exclusively to follow requirements of the local construction code which do not consider the landscape, but only ventilation and heat stroke; and the luminance levels are treated just as recommendations for artificial lighting. The National Policy for Healthcare Humanization presents the environmental comfort as a priority. However, it does not guidelines for achieving it. In this context this research aims to evaluate the lighting comfort in infant therapeutic areas from the professional satisfaction, in order to identify human preferences on the variables: technical and constructive aspects, relationship with the exterior, internal visual interface and quality elements. With this purpose it was adopted as research strategy the Post-Occupancy Evaluation (Technical Functional) through a multi method approach, which included a case study in the rehabilitation gym of Children Rehabilitation Center, at Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, and a reference study at SARAH Rehabilitation Center, Fortaleza Unit at Cear?, both in Brazil northeast. The results indicate that the definition of openings systems should consider external and internal factors to the building, as the natural landscape, the immediate surroundings and activities to be performed. The POE found out the preference of the professional visual privacy in detriment to other analyzed aspects. Thus, it is expected that this study can contribute to the discussion of luminous quality and generate inputs for future projects or renovations in the Children's Rehabilitation Centers, which should not be projected as hospitals

It was applied the Post-Occupation Evaluation technique, by using questionnaires and brightness levels measurements inside the classrooms. In order to check the users satisfaction degree, it was initially done a general approach on the related aspects to natural light: their characteristics, availability, sources, opening systems and evaluating tools. It was also determined the necessary brightness levels for the activities development in the classroom and the Post-Occupation Evaluation technique used in the search analyses. Then, it was made the UFRN Campus` characterization; the models` definition which formed the data collection basis; the detailing of the procedures used in the research, the processing description and the data analysis. Subsequently, the results that clarify the issues raised were shown through quantitative and / or qualitative data analyses. This research notes a high level of satisfaction by the users, despite some problems such as the reflections occurrence on the board, the lack of uniformity and, occasionally, the brightness low levels / O objetivo deste trabalho ? avaliar a ilumina??o natural dos setores de aulas te?ricas da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, utilizando a metodologia da Avalia??o P?s-Ocupa??o, com aplica??o de question?rios e medi??es dos n?veis de ilumin?ncia no interior das salas de aula. Inicialmente, para verificar a satisfa??o dos usu?rios, foi feita uma abordagem geral dos aspectos relacionados ? ilumina??o natural: suas caracter?sticas, disponibilidade, fontes, sistemas de abertura e ferramentas de avalia??o. Posteriormente, foram determinados os n?veis de ilumin?ncia necess?rios para o desenvolvimento das atividades em sala de aula e a Avalia??o P?s Ocupa??o (APO) que foram utilizados nas an?lises dessa pesquisa. It presents the results of the posoccupation evaluations accomplished in three squares, whose physical, environmental characteristics, equipments and fumitures are different in its qualities and amounts, taking in consideration aspects related to the users' physical and psychological comfort and of the inhabitants of the I spill. The collection of data involved physical risings and of files, observations behavious, application of questionnaires and interviews, analyzed qualitative as quantitatively so much for a larger precision and validity of the investigation. The results were obtained through the relationship among the users' perception the environmental attributes and the different levels of apropriation/use of the studied places. They indicate that the aspects composicionais of physical order of the space affects the type and the intensity of use of the squares intimately, contributing positive or negatively for its valor. It is evidenced like this, that the low freq?entation of the public squares of Natal, is due mainly to referring aspects to the physical quality and the amount of the fumitures and urban equipments. It is ended that the investments and the physical planning of these public spaces should be based in the real knowledge of the aspirations of the population objective, in way to allow its largest use and valor / A pesquisa investiga o desempenho e a import?ncia para os usu?rios das pra?as p?blicas localizadas em ?reas predominantemente residenciais. Apresenta os resultados das avalia??es p?s-ocupa??o realizadas em tr?s pra?as, cujas caracter?sticas f?sicas, ambientais, equipamentos e mobili?rios s?o distintos em suas qualidades e quantidades, levando em considera??o aspectos relacionados ao conforto f?sico e psicol?gico dos usu?rios e dos moradores do entorno. A coleta de dados envolveu levantamentos f?sicos e de arquivos, observa??es comportamentais, aplica??o de question?rios e entrevistas, analisados tanto qualitativa quanto quantitativamente para uma maior precis?o e validade da investiga??o. Os resultados foram obtidos atrav?s da rela??o entre a percep??o dos usu?rios os atributos ambientais e os diferentes n?veis de apropria??o/uso dos locais estudados. It evaluates 45 one-family housings in the Metropolitan Area of Recife, whose architects consider them to be in conformity with the recommendations contained in Armando de Holanda's book: A Guide to build in the Brazilian Northeast: Architecture as a pleasant place in the sunny tropics , published in 1976 by UFPE. For a long time, it used to be reference in many Architecture and Planning Schools of the Northern Region of Brazil. The research s methodological procedures are based on the Post- Occupancy Evaluation (P.O.E.) with emphasis on the users' thermal comfort of the houses that make part of the sample. Therefore, it has been done technical analyses of the projects, when possible; interviews with the architects; building s inspections; and form applications to the users. The collected data analysis was based on the project recommendations of Holanda s book, they can be synthesized in the principle of Building Leafy". It can not be affirmed that all the houses present the recommendations contained in the guide, but, in many different ways, they exist, sometimes more intensely and sometimes more shyly. However, it can be noticed that in the 45 projects, that the architects perceived the importance of "Building Leafy" on the climatic reality of the Metropolitan Region of Recife / Esta disserta??o de mestrado apresentada no Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFRN, avalia 45 habita??es unifamiliares na Regi?o Metropolitana do Recife, cujos arquitetos, autores dos projetos, consideram estar em conformidade com as recomenda??es contidas no livro Roteiro para construir no Nordeste: Arquitetura como lugar ameno nos tr?picos ensolarados do arquiteto Armando de Holanda, publicado em 1976 pela UFPE, e que por muito tempo foi utilizado como refer?ncia em alguns dos cursos de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da regi?o. In order to make a sustainable building (Green Building) it is vital to incorporate less damaging constructive practice, starting from the project until the operation of the enterprise, that means to consider an integrated process of conception, implementation, construction and operation. The more effective sustainable principles participation in architecture happens at the projecting step through minimal environment impact solutions. Among the issues varieties that goes with sustainability proposal of the buildings project, there were added to this work the elements that are directly attached to bioclimatic architecture, more specifically the climate variation, ventilation, lighting and sunlight, that directly affect the project conception. It is important to put in evidence that architecture role goes far beyond the simple activity of building spaces; it is the sequence of political, economic, social and cultural elements, having the users as the main apparatus to its materialization. Thereby this professional dissertation consists of an architecture draft for a professional and technological school in the Rio Grande do Norte State, this dissertation is based on the analysis of previous experience and the bioclimatic principles that implicate in building on hot and dry, hot and humid climates, and the use of strategic solutions that aim the optimization of natural light and ventilation / Atualmente a ado??o de conceitos e princ?pios sustent?veis na constru??o civil tem sido crescentemente debatida, aperfei?oada e incorporada aos edif?cios, uma vez que o setor interfere diretamente no espa?o urbano e no meio ambiente, representando impacto ambiental. Para tornar um edif?cio sustent?vel (Green Building) ? imprescind?vel incorporar pr?tica construtiva menos nociva, desde a fase projetual at? o funcionamento do empreendimento, ou seja, considerar um processo integrado de concep??o, implanta??o, constru??o e opera??o. A abordagem metodol?gica adotada dividiu-se em duas etapas: 1) constru??o de um painel de experts sobre o ensino de APO nos cursos de gradua??o e p?s-gradua??o em AU; 2) com base nos resultados da etapa anterior, foi planejada uma experi?ncia did?tica para uso da APO no projeto de interiores de uma biblioteca, que envolveu a realiza??o de Walkthrough, Avalia??o T?cnico-Funcional, Mapa Comportamental, Poema dos Desejos, Question?rios com usu?rios, Matriz de Descobertas e Quadro de Recomenda??es, culminando com a elabora??o de um projeto de interven??o para o local. Os resultados da APO mostram que: (i) ela despertou nos alunos um interesse diferenciado pela rela??o entre as necessidades dos usu?rios e as solu??es projetuais; (ii) a maioria dos m?todos/t?cnicas teve boa aceita??o, embora se verificasse dificuldade de apropria??o de alguns. As propostas projetuais desenvolvidas ao final do semestre, analisadas durante as assessorias, de forma comparativamente com a Matriz de Descobertas e Quadro de Recomenda??es e pelo professor respons?vel, mostram que o conhecimento da APO influenciou diretamente os novos projetos no que se refere ? solu??o formal e funcional adotada, e representou ainda um enriquecimento no discurso oral do alunado. / In recent decades, the Architecture and Urbanism have demonstrated a particular interest in the relations between person and environment. One of such initiatives is the incorporation of Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) to the design process as an evaluative strategy of the physical and functional aspects of the built environment and the perception and behavior of users. Although the AU's experiments show positive results to their incorporation in the design process, the academic background in Interior Design also includes such them atic superficially. In this context, this research discusses the use of POE?s methods and techniques as a complementary approach to the Project exercise in interior design, in academic context. The methodological approach divided into two stages: 1) construction of a experts panel about teaching POE in undergraduate and post graduate studies in AU; 2) teaching experience (based on the results of the previous stage), in the POE supported the development of an interiors project of library, which involving Walkthrough, Technical and Functional Assessment, Behavioral Map, Wish Poem, Questionnaires with users, Findings Matrix and Recommendations Board. The POE results show that: (i) the students had a differentiated interest in the relationship between user needs and design solutions; (ii) most of the methods / techniques was well received, while there was some difficulty in ownership. The projective proposals were analyzed during advisory sessions to the project and with participation of the head teacher, based on the comparison of the solutions presented with the findings of Mother and Table recommended. It was found that the POE influenced the new projects in relation to the formal solution and functional adopted, and enriched of the students in oral speech.

In this direction, considering the school as a place where children, young and adolescents spend great part of their time, this work had as objective to examine the perception of school environment for students, professors and employees of two schools in Jo?o Pessoa city - Centro Estadual Experimental de Ensino-Aprendizagem Sesquicenten?rio and Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e M?dio Presidente Em?lio Garrastazu M?dici (Experimental State Center of Learning-teaching Sesquicenten?rio and Basic and High State School Education Emilio Garrastazu M?dici President). From the presupposed that the environments in which and with which people live reflect their daily practices, the field work searched to identify the social-environmental practices that characterize the relation of these users with the school and, from this understanding, to infer some of their concerns regarding the environment as a whole. To analyze the use of the available physical space in the two institutions it was opted the use of the After-Occupation Evaluation, one of the approaches that feed the process of building production or built set, rescuing aspects related to its use, operation and maintenance. Besides analyzing diverse school environments (such as classroom circulations/accesses, library, pedagogical and sportive spaces) in relation to the environmental comfort and the perceptions of the main users of the schools (pupils, professors and employees), the dissertation tried to inquire the care (ambient education) of these users with the school space. In general, it was verified that the two schools have evaluations and perceptions really different for four reasons: (i) management of the schools; (ii) the users perception; (III) localization of schools and (IV) feeling of place, territoriality and appropriation / No momento s?cio-hist?rico que vivemos ? cada vez mais evidente a necessidade das pessoas aprenderem a lidar com o meio ambiente de modo consciente, cuidando de si pr?prias atrav?s dele. Nesse sentido, considerando a escola como um local onde crian?as, jovens e adolescentes passam grande parte do seu tempo, esta disserta??o teve como objetivo discutir a percep??o do ambiente escolar por estudantes, professores e funcion?rios de duas escolas de Jo?o Pessoa - o Centro Estadual Experimental de Ensino-Aprendizagem Sesquicenten?rio e a Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e M?dio Presidente Em?lio Garrastazu M?dici. Partindo-se do pressuposto que os ambientes nos quais e com os quais as pessoas convivem refletem suas pr?ticas cotidianas, o trabalho de campo buscou identificar as pr?ticas s?cio- ambientais que caracterizam a rela??o desses usu?rios com a escola e, a partir dessa compreens?o, inferir algumas de suas preocupa??es com rela??o ao meio ambiente como um todo. Para analisar a utiliza??o do espa?o f?sico dispon?vel nas duas institui??es optou-se pela Avalia??o P?s-Ocupa??o, uma das abordagens que retro alimentam o processo de produ??o de edif?cios ou conjunto edificado, resgatando aspectos ligados ao seu uso, opera??o e manuten??o. Al?m de se analisar diversos ambientes escolares (como sala de aula, circula??es/acessos, biblioteca, espa?os pedag?gicos e esportivos) quanto ao conforto ambiental e as percep??es dos principais usu?rios das escolas (alunos, professores e funcion?rios), a disserta??o procurou averiguar o cuidado (educa??o ambiental) desses usu?rios com o espa?o escolar. It is an effort to understand the functioning of the contemporary city as an artifact that somehow affects social relations. The study focuses on the limits and possibilities of urbanity in the city today, understanding urbanity as a set of factors that favor wealth, diversity and spontaneity of public life. The research aims to show that cities today tend to criate fragmented urban life into at least one of the three urbanity dimensions: spatial dimension, social and temporal dimension. The study involves the analysis of two public spaces in Fortaleza (Pra?a do Ferreira and the open urban public spaces of the Centro Cultural Drag?o do Mar), using Space Syntax Analysis methods and for Post Occupancy Evaluation procedures. Research shows that temporal dimension of urbanity is limited in the public spaces studied. In Pra?a do Ferreira, spatial and social dimensions are present, but their effects are limited by the temporal dimension. The Drag?o do Mar, on the other hand, the spatial and social dimensions of urban life are more limited and more concentrated in time / Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral estudar dimens?es da vida urbana na cidade atual. ? um esfor?o de compreens?o do funcionamento da cidade contempor?nea enquanto artefato que afeta de algum modo as rela??es sociais. O trabalho enfoca os limites e as possibilidades da urbanidade na cidade atual, entendendo-se urbanidade como um conjunto de fatores que favorecem a riqueza, a diversidade e a espontaneidade da vida p?blica. A pesquisa procura mostrar que as cidades atuais tendem a conformar uma vida urbana fragmentada em pelo menos uma das tr?s dimens?es da urbanidade: a dimens?o espacial, a dimens?o social e dimens?o temporal. Para tanto o trabalho envolve a an?lise de dois espa?os p?blicos da cidade de Fortaleza (a Pra?a do Ferreira e os espa?os abertos do Centro Cultural Drag?o do Mar), a partir da aplica??o de m?todos de An?lise Sint?tica do Espa?o e de procedimentos de Avalia??o P?s-ocupa??o. A pesquisa mostra que a dimens?o temporal da urbanidade ? limitada nos dois espa?os p?blicos estudados. No caso da Pra?a do Ferreira as dimens?es espacial e social est?o presentes, mas tem seu efeito limitado pela dimens?o temporal.
