The primary problem of this study was to determine the relationship between BGT performance, as indexed by the Developmental Scoring System of Koppitz, and performance on the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children.

The purpose of this study is to investigate differences in the stimulus value of the Bender Gestalt designs. It is concerned with both differences in structural values and affective values of the nine figures. The investigation is primarily concerned with the reliability of such differences, and secondarily with the general nature of the differences in stimulus value.

The primary purpose of the study is to evaluate the ability of the Bender Gestalt to differentiate between two groups of psychiatric patients. A second aspect of the study concerns itself with the ability of the Bender Gestalt to differentiate between psychiatric patients and normals.

The purpose of the present study is to try to establish if perception is a determinate factor of performance on the Bender Gestalt Test. In a study which is attempting to determine the effects of perceptual factors as compared to motor factors on the Bender Gestalt Test, it would seem necessary to separate the two factors.

The purposes of the present study are to try to establish whether perception and motor skill are determinant factors of performance on the Bender-Gestalt Test and to investigate the degree of relationship and importance of each factor on the B-G-T.

The present study investigated the relationship between indicators on the Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test and acting-out behavior shown by 58 male and 40 female adolescents in a behaviorally oriented, alternative educational program, Acting-out behavior was measured by assessing the number of timeouts students received during their first 25 days in the program. Two Bender composite indexes were calculated--l0 emotional indicators recommended by Koppitz and 12 indicators believed related to acting-out behavior or control problems. Results found that the index of Bender acting-out indicators correlated with number of timeouts. The Koppitz index did not correlate with timeouts, suggesting lack of internal consistency. Five individual indicators correlated with number of timeouts.
