Švietimo reformų etapiškas įgyvendinimas keičia mokyklinę organizaciją. Bendradarbiavimas tampa svarbiu veiksniu, kuris lemia ugdymo įstaigos darbo sėkmę, kelia pedagogų bendruomenės narių meistriškumą, skatina ugdymo įstaigą tobulėti. Bendradarbiavimas pedagoginiame darbe turi užimti svarbią vietą. Be bendradarbiavimo neįmanomas joks pedagoginis darbas nei mokykloje, nei už jos ribų. Tyrimo objektas - bendradarbiavimo kultūros kūrimas bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos pedagogų bendruomenėje. Tyrimo tikslas – teoriškai ir empiriškai pagrįsti bendradarbiavimo kultūros kūrimo strategiją bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos pedagogų bendruomenėje. Tyrimui atlikti buvo taikomi 2 metodai: anketinė apklausa raštu ir interviu. Kiekybinio tyrimo metu buvo apklausiami pagrindinių mokyklų pedagogai. Kokybiniam tyrimui atlikti buvo naudojamas interviu. Naudojant standartizuotą apklausą, interviu metu buvo apklausiami mokyklų vadovai Tyrimo metu apklausti 234 pagrindinių mokyklų pedagogai ir 8 pagrindinių mokyklų vadovai. Tyrimas atliktas Panevėžio apskrityje: Panevėžio, Pasvalio, Biržų ir Kupiškio pagrindinėse mokyklose. Išanalizavus tyrimo rezultatus paaiškėjo, kad ir vadovai, ir patys pedagogai bendradarbiavimą pedagogų bendruomenėje laiko svarbiu veiksniu, kuris lemia visos organizacijos veiklos kokybę.
