The first part diploma thesis focuses on the description of the incentive system from a theoretical perspective. The second part focuses on research and description of actual payment mechanisms and opportunities for personal development in the company. Based on the results of the half-structured interviews from the second part are in the last section suggested possible improvements or potential solutions of identified problems.

In contrast to international standards, the Czech regulation was analysed from multiple aspects. The comparison of both systems was shown on specific benefits selected from the chosen companies. The result of this comparison is a series of recommendations for both companies and their impact on the financial statement.
