På grund av den svenska byggbranschen är en av de mest riskfyllda branscherna i Sverige har en av de vanligaste åtgärderna för att motverka denna fortsatt olycksdrabbade utveckling skapat en branschomfattande vilja hos organisationerna att förbättra sin arbetssäkerhet. Ett av dessa initiativ till att försöka förbättra och förändra olycks- och skadestatistiken för personskador i byggbranschen har tagits genom bildandet och upprättandet av Byggbranschens Säkerhetspark. Byggbranschens Säkerhetspark är en branschsamverkande utbildningsanläggning där individer som arbetar inom byggindustrin kan komma och utbildas inom arbetsmiljösäkerhet anpassad för den svenska byggbranschen. Här övar utbildningsdeltagare under ledning av ”säkerhetsparkens” branscherfarna utbildare på att arbeta på ett säkrare sätt i sin yrkesvardag där exempelvis beteendebaserad säkerhet är i fokus.  Studiens syfte har varit att studera hur arbetsmiljöutbildningen vid Byggbranschens Säkerhetspark genomförs och vilka typer av teori som utbildningen potentiellt uppvisat samt hur detta sedan implementerats i utbildningen. Byggbranschens Säkerhetsparks ledord ”se-höra-göra-reflektera” är centrala i utbildningen och lägger grunden för mycket av den teoretiska grunden som kunnat identifieras i studiens observationer och intervjuer. Genom induktiv analys har studien identifierat teoretiska och praktiska inslag i ”säkerhetsparkens” utbildning där länkar gjorts till systemteori, förbättrings- och kvalitetsteori, säkerhetskultur, organisatoriskt lärande, organisationskultur och olika former av beteendeförändringsteorier. Säkerhetsparkens utbildning vill bidra till att arbeta för att förändra, påverka och öka förståelsen för hur våra mänskliga beteenden påverkar de beslut som fattas, dels innan ett byggprojekt påbörjas, samt dels dem beslut som tas på en byggarbetsplats på individuell nivå, arbetsgruppnivå samt på organisatorisk nivå. Byggbranschens Säkerhetsparks teoretiska grund i dess utbildning vilar på en vilja att påverka enskilda beteenden och attityder inom byggbranschen genom aktivt och praktiskt lärandebaserad pedagogik. Stor vikt läggs på verklighetsbaserade och handlingsbaserade arbetssituationer ifrån erfarenheter vid byggarbetsplatser. Genom syftet att förbättra och förändra arbetsmiljösäkerheten genom beteendebaserad säkerhet tillsammans med inslag av fakta kan detta potentiellt skapa en positiv förändring i byggbranschen med reducerade risknivåer och personskadeproblematik. Flertalet av de intervjuade företagens anställda angav att den enskilda organisationens arbete med den interna arbetsmiljösäkerheten följer, på många punkter, den utveckling som byggbranschens många aktörer siktar emot med att vilja se över arbetssätt och det generella beteendet vid byggarbetsplatserna. Därmed kan Byggbranschens Säkerhetsparks utbildning även påvisa de potentiellt inneboende bristerna i medlemsorganisationernas dagliga arbete och hur beteendeförändringar tillsammans med organisatoriska förändringar kan hjälpa till att förbättra ett byggföretags interna arbetsmiljösäkerhet. Det finns potential för Byggbranschens Säkerhetspark att på sikt bidra till minskade arbetsplatsolyckor som effekt ute på de svenska byggarbetsplatserna och att hjälpa byggföretag att generellt förbättra sin arbetsmiljösäkerhet. / Due to the Swedish construction industry being one of the most dangerous industries in Sweden, one of the most common measures to counteract this continued unfortunate development has created and industry-wide will among the organizations to improve their occupational safety. One of these initiatives to try to improve and change the accident and injury statistics in the construction industry has been taken through the formation and establishment of a Safety Training Park (STP) - ”Byggbranschens Säkerhetspark”. This STP is an industry-collaborative training facility where individuals working in the construction industry can come and be trained in work environment safety adapted for the Swedish construction industry. Here, the training participants, under the guidance of the STP’s industry experienced educators, are trained to work in a safer way in their professional everyday worklife where, for example, behavior-based safety is in focus. The purpose of the study has been to study how the work environment training at this STP is carried out and what types of theories are potentially identified in training and how this is then implemented in the training. The STP’s keywords “see-hear-do-reflect” are central to the education process and lay the foundation for much of the theoretical foundation that could be identified in the study’s observations and interviews. Through inductive analysis, theoretical and practical elements have been studied in the STP’s education where links have been made to systems theory, improvement theory, safety culture and various forms of behavior change theories. The STP’s education wants to contribute to positive change, influence and increase understanding of how our human behaviors affect the decisions that are made, both before a construction project begins, and to understand how decisions are made at a construction site at individual level, workgroup level and organizational level. The STP’s theoretical basis in its education rests on a willingness to influence individual behaviors and attitudes in the construction industry through active and practical learning-based pedagogy. Great emphasis is placed on reality-based and action-based work situations based on experience at construction sites. Through the aim of improving and changing work environment safety through behavior-based safety together with elements of facts, this can potentially create a positive change in the Swedish construction industry with reduced risk levels and injury problems for the workers. The majority of the interviewed companies’ employees stated that the individual organization’s work with internal work environment safety follows, in many respects, the development that the many actors in the construction industry aim at by wanting to review working methods and the general behavior at construction sites. Thus, the STP’s work safety training can also demonstrate the potentially inherent shortcomings in the member organizations’ daily work and how behavioral changes together with organizational changes can help to improve a construction company’s internal work environment safety. There is potential for the STP to eventually contribute to reduced workplace accidents as an effect on Swedish construction sites and to help construction companies improve their work environment safety overall.
