<p>Ova doktorska disertacija izučava matrice zapisane u blok formi. Ona<br />sistematizuje postojeća i predstavlja nova tvrđenja o osobinama takvih matrica,<br />koja se baziraju na ideji generalizovane dijagonalne dominacije. Poznati<br />rezultati u tačkastom slučaju dobra su osnova za blok generalizacije, koje su<br />izvedene na dva različita načina, prvi zbog svoje jednostavnije primenljivosti,<br />a drugi zbog obuhvatanja šire klase matrica na koju se rezultati odnose.</p> / <p>This thesis is related to matrices written in their block form. It systematizes known and<br />represents new knowledge about properties of such matrices, which is based on the idea<br />of generalized diagonal dominance. Known results in the point case serve as a good basis<br />for block generalization, which is done in two different ways, the first one because of its<br />simple usability, and the other for capturing wider class of matrices which are treated.</p>

The aim of the master thesis is to design nearly zero-energy building of the municipal office in the city of Bojkovice. In the first part an architectural and constructional solution was designed. The building has three above-ground floors. It has a flat green roof with skylights and photovoltaics. First floor includes reception, break room, archives, offices, meeting room, kitchenette, sanitary facilities and boiler room. Second floor consists of break room, archives, storerooms, offices and sanitary facilities. External load-bearing walls, internal load-bearing walls and partitions are made of ceramic blocks. Columns, girders, floor slabs and roof slabs are made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Cladding is insulated with ETICS. In the second part HVAC was designed. Heating is provided by gas condensing boiler. The building is mechanical ventilated by AC units situated in technical room in the third above-ground floor. Cooling is air-conditioned by fan-coil units designed in offices and conference hall, chillers are situated on the roof. The third part of the master thesis focused on design and comparison of various AC units. Drawings are processed in SW AutoCAD, calculations were made in Excel, the design of air-conditioning system and unit was made in SW Atrea DUPLEX 9.10, Aerocad and CLIMACAL.

The aim of the master´s thesis is to design a Residential care home as smart building. It is situated in the centre of Křenovice near Brno. The master´s thesis is divided into three parts, first part presents design documentation, second part is focused on building services and the final part presents noise control in building. Residential care house is designed as two-storey building without basement with flat roof. On the first floor there is utility area for senior house and healthcare facility and on the second floor there are flats for seniors. Residential care house is built on footing. Load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls are designed from hollow bricks type THERM. External walls are insulated with mineral wool. The roofing of residential care house is made up of extensive green roof. The building services of the building includes two ground-water heat pumps with boreholes for heating and cooling, photovoltaic panels, HVAC, hot water cylinder and rainwater storage tank. The final part is focused on noise control in building. It is about acoustic in construction. Noise study is also included.

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a design of a new apartmen building in the city of Brno on the plot expected to be completed by the city block. Typologically it deals with the current design possibilities of gallery apartment buildings / porch houses, implementation of space-demanding grocery stores and commercial areas into urban structures. Architecturally explores the possibilities of designing new constructions with citation of architectural language a tectonics of past styles.

This work seeks to verify the possible construction of a kindergarten in very confined conditions in the courtyard so that children can take dignified first steps in educational facilities and at the same time to economically use the land in the city center.

The subject of the thesis is a part of the South Center of Brno. After a long period of time, the locality is starting to "wake up to life", thanks to the fact that after a few decades it was finally decided on the fate and location of the Central Station. Thus, it is expected to expand the city in a southern direction. Then incorporate adjacent areas to the center. The thesis follows the project from 2018, the subject of which was the design of an urban concept of a territorial unit defined by Opuštěná Street, the Lower Railway Station, the Svratka River and the planned new urban class located on the visual axis of Cathedral (st. Petr and Pavel). Therefore, the thesis deals with the architectural study of a part of this area, situated near the river Svratka, on the border of the newly emerging city embankment. It is a multifunctional block, with predominant use for housing with 136 apartments for about 450 inhabitants. This block is further divided into 3 buildings, which have two underground floors providing technological background, and parking spaces for the entire multifunctional block. Further, the architectural study focuses on one of these polyfunctional block objects and processes it in more detail. The building of the residential building, called "A" in the study, provides a total of 47 apartments. And in the ground floor of the building there are rentable spaces for various uses. The effort of the proposal was to create quality living in a unique location on the waterfront and provide the inhabitants with a view of the Svratka River and the park on the opposite bank, even though it is almost in the city center.

The city block, which we use for a creating our architectural rendering of new Natoinal theatre building is situated on one othe hystorical city axis in the centre of Slovenian capital city Ljubljana. The main design philosophy is gentle extension of the existing block with emphasis on keeping the character of Stare Brno untouched and enhance the area with missing functions, which would complement and rejuvenate both completed and projected house building development.

Ph.D. thesis abstract PhDr. Matěj Bílý The Ph.D. thesis "The Warsaw Treaty Organization 1969-1985. The pinnacle and path to dissolution" analyses inside processes within both political and military structures of the alliance and puts it in the context of the Cold War's development and the events in the Soviet sphere of influence in Europe. It deals mostly with the climax of the Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev's rule, however, attention is paid also to the short intermezzo of his successors, Yuri Andropov and Konstantin Chernenko. The work is based on a broad research in the Czech, Polish and German archives, already published documents and the proper secondary literature. The explanation focuses not only to the development of the organization's mechanisms - it also asses the Warsaw Pact's role as one of the Kremlin's tools for managing the Eastern Bloc. Nonetheless, during Brezhnev's era, the alliance never became an initiator of processes within the Soviet sphere of interest. In fact, the organization's structures were not very initiative. The agenda of meetings was defined elsewhere, most often in Moscow. The activities in the alliance's framework did not constitute a starting-point for the development in the Soviet sphere of influence. Thesis is concerning urbanistic treatment of a chosen part of Zábrdovice, a catastral disctrict in the city of Brno. Analyses problems of the area, searches for causes and solutions of problems regarding living there or going through the area. Offers a possible solution to make the area passable for pedestrians, car and cyclists, and to improve its continuity to the center of Brno and make it more attractive.
