This diploma thesis is focused on creating a finite element method model of a four-stroke engine with a purpose to determine an impact on cylinder bore distortion caused by several types of loading. Introduction of this work covers research of possibilities in modelling thermal-structural analysis of cylinder liner and verifications of the analysis results. An Ansys model was further created and cylinder liner radial deformation caused by head bolts tightening and thermal loading coming from combustion was determined. Finally, a whole engine working cycle was simulated with a gas pressure loading and its final impact on the total cylinder liner radial deformation was defined.

The PhD thesis deals with the analysis of digital systems described on RT level. The methodology of  data paths analysis is decribed, the data path controller analysis is not solved in the thesis. The methodology is built on the concept of Testable Block (TB) which allows to divide digital component to such segments which can be tested through their inputs/outputs, border registers and primary inputs/outputs are used for this purpose. As a result, lower number of registers is needed to be included into scan  chain - border registers are the only ones which are scanned.  The segmentation allows also to reduce the volume of test vectors, tests are generated for segments, not for the complete component. To identify TBs, two evolutionary algorithms are used, they operate on TB formal model which is also defined in the thesis.

Presented thesis discusses the relationship between the Eastern bloc and Libya, using the Czechoslovak model as an example. On the basis of analysis of archive documents this text describes the cooperative process between socialist states and the regime of Muammar Qaddafi within the period of 1969-1989. The emphasis is put on political, economical, military and, to some extent, cultural aspects of mutual relationship between said countries. The purpose of this thesis is to present Czechoslovakia as a so called "small player" in the context of international politics of the Cold war. The author is aiming to show that, contrary to the orthodox explanations of the Cold war as a conflict of two monolithic blocs, Czechoslovakia was capable of limited autonomy within the frame of her foreign policy, especially towards third world countries. Therefore, more than simply presenting the Cold war as an East-West process, this thesis works with a North-South view. The point of this perspective is that the Cold war itself was not just a clash of superpowers, but was also comprised of acts of international help from Eastern bloc states to, among others, the North African countries such as Libya. Group of specialized cells that form cardiac conduction system is responsible for generation and coordinated propagation of the electrical impulse in the heart. Changes in its development can be connected with arrhythmias; therefore, a good level of knowledge is necessary and relevant for basic science and clinical practice. For correct development of the conduction system are important genes coding gap junctions proteins, ion channels, transcription factors and other molecules involved in signaling cascades (endothelin, neuregulin). Development of conduction system is determined in addition to genetic factors also by epigenetics and environmental factors. This thesis with its individual papers on which it is based is addressing different aspects of conduction system development, which appears to be a complex process. Another feature which is linking all papers together, is the methodological approach enabling us to study function of the conduction system - optical mapping. This diploma thesis, called „Reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko in the cadastral area of Radslavice“, focuses on the complex process of a reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko. This work follows up on the bachelor’s thesis, in which the current state of the Hradisko reservoir was described in detail. Based on the survey of the dam and the flood using a GPS device, detailed project documentation was prepared. Within the solution for the reconstruction of Hradisko reservoir, a repair of the dam and the increase of the crown of the dam is proposed, new functional objects are dimensioned, the bottom is cleared of mud, including modifications in the flood, and other necessary steps for proper functioning of the crumbling no longer compliant reservoir are described. Functional objects are processed for two variants of the solution. The first option consists of the design of a bottom outlet and a safety spillway, and the second alternative involves the design of a combined functional block. In the end, the total costs of both options are quantified and compared on the basis of an indicative item budget.

My first task was urbanism of údolní street. Identify positive and negative areas and places. And propose solutions . In my opinion, this building does not fit here, and I replaced her apartment houses with a business parter, as it was in the history. It will bring even more life to the area. The second negative place is already outdated hospital on the Obilní trh. In terms of its function I will be sorry it replace ordinary residential house, so I chose a home for the elderly Polyclinic. Why forget to the old people of the city? Some seniors like it. The third point is the area of University at the intersection Street and Úvoz Valley. My main thesis topic. I have long wondered with how this whole area can hold. It is a huge complex in the city center, where there is no life, so I decided to bring him there. And I think the help of students and young people who start their careers, I'll do it. The main function of the complex is education and science. In the old part on the street Údolní relocate Favu. With this relocation already counts as leadership of VUT, because they have fakulty in bad condition. This wing of the building of ports, which is a new modern auditorium, a library, and a new study department with the school. In the second wing of the historic street Úvoz goes something like a new start for students after school. The building has a lettable jobs, meeting rooms or areas for launching your business, or coworking. Simple building on the street Tvrdého is language school. Existing Institute of Forensic Medicine I'd changed his function at the primary art school. And because the area seemed to me a great and difficult to grasp, I decided to separate the bit where I created buildings. The supporting features such as a bistro, patisserie, bakery, minimarket, etc. Opposite the building in the complex construction of me was named the new incubators. On the ground floor of leasable space along with coworking. Three towers that stand out to me above the ground floor, I used to incubators, ie spaces for lease for the team who would love drove his bussines. The content of the thesis is a study of the new use of brownfield, which was created by the termination of the UP Závody furniture company in Bučovice. The subject of the study is the urban design of a new residential area, with additional, required and related functions. The design of the site, including the newly subsumed buildings, is only created at the urban level. In the form of an architectural study, one selected (reference) residential block of an urban complex is then solved. An important aspect is the reaction to the nearby presence of the renaissance castle by observing the preconditions for the monument care.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to revitalize the block in the central part of the French city Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, which is defined by the streets Rue de la Cathédrale and Rue le Corbusier and its surroundings. Opening of the space in front of the Duval factory and creation of conditions for the incorporation of the missing functions of the historic city center. Transformation of the area in front of the cathedral and extension of the main communication axis of the city to the Duval factory.

The aim of this Diploma Thesis was the design of multipurpose town house located on Křížová Street, Brno with the significant housing part, but also with areas for administration offices and commercial use. The project focuses on new attempt and concept of inner part of the block, as well as on connection into the existing historical urban structure. A new multi-storey monolithic house with seven floors and glass façade was designed. Commercial area is located in the parterre of the house, second floor is used for offices and the roof (7th floor) gives attractive place for a café. The rest of the house (3rd to 6th floor) has a dwelling purpose. Diploma Thesis copes with the function of yard and underground parking place, as well.
