The newspaper???s first edition was published on the same day the city was inaugurated. This research was carried out at Brasilia???s Documentation Center of Associated Journals ??? CEDOC, and aims to analyze and identify issues related to events that happened in the city during it???s first year as the new capital of Brazil. Initially, the newspaper???s story was considered, since its founding by Hip??lito Jos?? da Costa in London, in the nineteenth century, until its revival in Brasilia. The newspaper's structure (the only printed media in Brasilia during this period), its contribution to the formation of the cultural identity of the city, the customs and routines acquired by the pioneers of the city, were also analyzed in this research. To this end, interviews were conducted with pioneers considering their relationship with the newspaper at the time. Finally, the categories used for the establishment and corpus analysis were: Cultural, religious, leisure and entertainment activities; Trade and services in general - including radio and TV programming; Education and Sport. As a result of the research, we identified that culture can hardly be categorized and that a complex design of the cultural process is best suited to the objectives of the work. We therefore appealed to Edgar Morin???s (2005) perception on culture in order to understand the process of feedback between the newspaper and the life in the city in the cultural formation of Brasilia. / Este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar as contribui????es do Jornal Correio Braziliense para a forma????o da cultura de Bras??lia, durante o primeiro ano ap??s sua inaugura????o, de 21 de abril de 1960 a 21 de abril de 1961. No mesmo dia em que foi inaugurada a cidade, veiculou-se a primeira edi????o do jornal. Dessa forma, a partir da pesquisa documental realizada no acervo do Centro de Documenta????o dos Di??rios Associados em Bras??lia ??? CEDOC, o conte??do publicado foi analisado com vistas ?? identifica????o e ?? categoriza????o dos assuntos relacionados aos acontecimentos ocorridos na cidade durante o primeiro ano da nova Capital do Brasil. Inicialmente, contemplou-se a hist??ria do jornal, desde sua funda????o por Hip??lito Jos?? da Costa, em Londres, ainda no s??culo XIX, at?? seu ressurgimento em Bras??lia. Observou-se, igualmente, a gradual estrutura????o editorial do jornal, ainda como o ??nico ve??culo de comunica????o impresso de Bras??lia no decorrer desse per??odo, assim como sua contribui????o efetiva para as atividades culturais da cidade de modo geral, a partir da identifica????o dos costumes e rotinas adquiridos pelos pioneiros na capital rec??m-inaugurada. Para tal, foram realizadas entrevistas com pioneiros contemplando sua rela????o com o jornal ?? ??poca. Finalmente, as categorias utilizadas para a constitui????o e an??lise do corpus foram as atividades culturais, religiosas, de lazer e entretenimento; o com??rcio e servi??os em geral - incluindo programa????o de r??dio e TV; a educa????o e o esporte. Como resultado da pesquisa, identificou-se que a cultura dificilmente pode ser categorizada e que uma concep????o complexa do processo cultural ?? mais adequada aos objetivos do trabalho. Recorrese, portanto, ?? percep????o de Edgar Morin (2005) sobre cultura para se entender o processo de retroalimenta????o entre o jornal e a vida na cidade na forma????o cultural de Bras??lia.

This is a case study about the Military College of Bras??lia (CMB), a public institution of the federal sphere, whose main sponsor is the Brazilian Army. Participating in the research were a manager of the Directorate of Preparatory Education and Assistance (DEPA), the Teaching Director, the pedagogical advisor to the Head of the Teaching Division (DE), the Head of School Supervision and six former CMB students, as well as teachers and educational supervisors. Also analyzed were documents that deal with all activities related to the development and operation of military colleges belonging to the Military College System of Brazil (SCMB). In these normative documents, it was noticed the concern with the diverse dimensions of the school. They are texts that act as support for the activities of the manager, since they guide all the work to be developed in the college. As theoretical reference, theoretical ideas were used that deal with concepts of management of educational institutions, educational management models, educational planning concepts and models of such planning as Ribeiro (1978), L??ck (2000), Zainko (2000) ), Sander (2007), Kuenzer et all (2015), among others. After analyzing the data, it is considered that the management model adopted by the CMB follows a hierarchical structure that can be noticed in the way the analyzed documents are organized. The results show that the management model assumed by the CMB contemplates traces of a strategic planning and allows, in a limited way, the participation of the school community. We therefore consider that the management model applied by CMB is close to the multidimensional paradigm of Sander (2007), since it contemplates the different dimensions in which a school should be managed, except for the dimension of the participation of the school community. / Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo geral identificar o modelo de gest??o educacional empregado no CMB a partir dos documentos oficiais que regem o ensino na institui????o e a partir da percep????o dos participantes da pesquisa. Trata-se de um estudo de caso sobre o Col??gio Militar de Bras??lia (CMB), uma institui????o de ensino p??blico da esfera federal, cuja mantenedora ?? o Ex??rcito brasileiro. Participaram da pesquisa uma gestora da Diretoria de Educa????o Preparat??ria e Assistencial (DEPA), o Diretor de Ensino, o assessor pedag??gico do Chefe da Divis??o de Ensino (DE), o Chefe da Supervis??o Escolar e seis ex-alunos do CMB, al??m de professores e supervisoras educacionais. Tamb??m foram analisados os documentos que tratam de todas as atividades relacionadas ao desenvolvimento e funcionamento dos col??gios militares pertencentes ao Sistema Col??gio Militar do Brasil (SCMB). Nesses documentos normativos, percebeu-se a preocupa????o com as diversas dimens??es da escola. S??o textos que atuam como suporte para as atividades do gestor, visto que orientam todo o trabalho a ser desenvolvido no col??gio. Como referencial te??rico, utilizou-se as ideias de te??ricos que versam sobre conceitos de gest??o de institui????es de ensino, modelos de gest??o educacional, conceitos de planejamento educacional e modelos desses planejamentos tais como Ribeiro (1978), L??ck (2000), Zainko (2000), Sander (2007), Kuenzer et all (2015), dentre outros. Ap??s a an??lise dos dados, considera-se que o modelo de gest??o adotado pelo CMB obedece a uma estrutura hierarquizada que pode ser notada na maneira como s??o organizados os documentos analisados. Os resultados obtidos revelam que o modelo de gest??o assumido pelo CMB contempla tra??os de um planejamento estrat??gico e permite, de forma limitada, a participa????o da comunidade escolar. Consideramos, portanto, que o modelo de gest??o aplicado pelo CMB aproxima-se do paradigma multidimensional de Sander (2007), pois contempla as diversas dimens??es em que uma escola deve ser gerida exceto no que tange ?? dimens??o da participa????o da comunidade escolar.

O Plano Piloto projetado por Lucio Costa em 1957 rendeu a Bras?lia o t?tulo de Patrim?nio Cultural da Humanidade, em 1987, como ?obra art?stica ?nica? e ?exemplar marcante de um tipo de constru??o ou conjunto arquitet?nico que ilustra um est?gio significativo da hist?ria? (SILVA, 2003). Sua concep??o urban?stica, tamb?m reconhecida em n?vel distrital e federal, evidencia as ?escalas urbanas? ? monumental, residencial, greg?ria e buc?lica ? como principais aspectos a serem preservados. Apesar da sua inquestion?vel representatividade, a cidade apresenta a aparente contradi??o que evidencia, de um lado, os valores essenciais de sua concep??o urban?stica reconhecidos em tr?s inst?ncias diferentes. Por outro lado, interven??es urbanas das mais variadas formas que desvirtuaram e continuam desvirtuando esses princ?pios. A esse respeito, o ?ltimo Relat?rio de Monitoramento da UNESCO, em 2012, trouxe como principais quest?es: a necessidade priorit?ria da caracteriza??o e delimita??o das escalas urbanas; a defini??o de arcabou?o jur?dico conciliando legisla??es nacionais e distritais de uso e ocupa??o do solo; a cria??o de autoridade executiva intersetorial com autonomia decis?ria e financeira; e promo??o de programas de educa??o patrimonial. Como recomenda??es finais o Relat?rio prop?e ?cancelar o processo de aprova??o atual do PPCUB para estabelecimento de um processo formal de consulta atrav?s de uma comiss?o constitu?da pelo GDF e IPHAN, possibilitando a participa??o ativa da Universidade de Bras?lia (UnB), da Associa??o de Arquitetos, ICOMOS e organiza??es pertencentes ? comunidade? (MARICATO, 2000), que pode muito mais dizer sobre aspectos da produ??o social do espa?o no qual foi formulado, do que auxiliar na concretiza??o de suas propostas atuais. / This research aims to provide a reflection on the preservation practices of Brasilia as Cultural Heritage in four analytical/political dimensions: conceptual, urban, political-institutional and legal. In order to do that, the preparation process for the Plan for the Preservation of Brasilia Urban Set (PPCUB) was taken as research object. This preservation plan is representative of the context which determines the relation between goals and preservation practices in the social production process of urban space. Designed by Lucio Costa in 1957, Brasilia received the Cultural Heritage title 27 years later, in 1987. It was recognized a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural (UNESCO) in the same year as it "represents a unique artistic piece of work, a masterpiece of creative genius"; and "an outstanding example of a type of construction or architectural compound that illustrates a significant stage in history" (SILVA, 2003). Brasilia?s urban conception, also recognised in the district and federal levels, gives prominence to the 'urban scales' ? monumental, residential, gregarious and bucolic ? as the main aspects to be preserved. Despite being an undoubted representative, Brasilia seemingly displays a contradiction. On the one hand, the essential value of the city?s urban design is acknowledged as cultural heritage at international, national and district levels. On the other hand, numerous ways of urban interventions disregard the principles of that conception. In 2012, the international Monitoring Report raised some issues which highlight the following main needs: primary need for clear definition of the urban scales? characteristics and boundaries; definition of a legal framework that conciliates national and district laws of occupation and use of land; creation of inter-sectors executive authority with both decision-making and financial autonomy; and promotion of heritage educational programs. This report also proposes "to cancel the current process of approval conducted by PPCUB and establish a formal consultation process through a committee made up by GDF and IPHAN, which will enable the active participation of University of Brasilia, the Architects Association, ICOMOS and local organizations" (SEDHAB, 2010). Already in its drafting process, the international recommendations evidence that preserving Brasilia?s urban design conception is not among the goals to be achieved. Thus, this research highlights that the intentional nature of PPCUB?s plans does little towards realizing the current proposals.

There is evidence that the level of physical fitness of children and adolescents has declined over time. In this sense studies that verify the secular trend of growth and physical fitness gain importance. Objective: to analyze, through a secular tendency, changes occurred in parameters of physical fitness related to health in schoolchildren from 7 to 12 years of age in the city of Taguatinga- DF, from 1992 to 2015. Materials and Methods: The study addresses With a sample of 2,281students (1,114 males and 1,167 females), from 2001 to 2005 (years 2000) with 774 students (348 boys and 426 girls) and Year of 2015 with 370 students (187 boys and 183 girls), totaling 3,425 students (1649 boys and 1,776 girls). Body mass and height were obtained, which gave rise to the body mass index, tricipital and subscapular skinfolds, with which the percentage of fat was calculated, in addition to agility, flexibility, lower limb strength and sexual maturation. Means, deviations and frequency were analyzed. Normality was verified with Shapiro Wilks and Kolmogorov-Smirnov. In addition to the analysis of variance in case of normality and Kruskal Wallis where there was no normality. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Catholic University of Brasilia under number 1,086,406. Results: Body mass, height, body mass index and fat percentage of boys and girls presented significant differences when we compared the three moments of the study. These variables showed a positive secular trend, mainly when we compare the years 1990 and the year 2015. The results also show that when compared with reference tables for ages and sex the majority are classified in unsatisfactory levels. The variables flexibility and horizontal jump presented a seculartendency negative, demonstrating a worsening of results over time. There was also worsening in the variable agility that presented a positive secular tendency. It was found that the boys in the sample are initiating the process of sexual maturation earlier than the girls. The boys presented better performance in all stages of sexual maturation, except for the variable flexibility, where the girls were better. Conclusions: In a qualitative analysis, the results of the secular trend of both physical growth and motor performance of boys and girls presented worse results when we compared the first moment of the study (1990s) with the present moment (2015). It is suggested a great attention to the objectives of the Physical Education classes at the Public School and a pedagogical supervision to the teachers who teach this discipline. / Introdu????o: As evolu????es tecnol??gicas ocorridas no mundo moderno provocaram mudan??as significativas na forma como crian??as e adolescentes realizam suas divers??es e lazer, levandoos ?? diminui????o do n??vel de atividade f??sica e prejudicando a forma????o de h??bitos saud??veis. H?? evid??ncias que o n??vel de aptid??o f??sica das crian??as e dos adolescentes tem diminu??do com o tempo. Neste sentido estudos que verifiquem a tend??ncia secular do crescimento e da aptid??o f??sica ganham import??ncia. Objetivo: analisar, por meio de tend??ncia secular, modifica????es ocorridas em par??metros da aptid??o f??sica relacionada ?? sa??de em escolares de 07 a 12 anos de idade na cidade de Taguatinga-DF, no per??odo de 1992 a 2015. Materiais e M??todos: O estudo aborda tr??s momentos distintos, de 1992 a 1995 (anos 1990) com uma amostra de 2.281 alunos(1.114 do sexo masculino e 1,167 do sexo feminino), de 2001 a 2005 (anos 2000) com 774 alunos (348 meninos e 426 meninas) e do ano de 2015 com 370 alunos (187 meninos e 183 meninas), totalizando 3.425 alunos (1649 meninos e 1.776 meninas). Foram coletados massa corporal e estatura, que deram origem ao ??ndice de massa corporal, dobras cut??neas tricipital e subescapular, com as quais foi calculado o percentual de gordura, al??m da agilidade, flexibilidade, for??a de membros inferiores e matura????o sexual. Foram analisadas m??dias, desvios e frequ??ncia. A normalidade foi verificada com Shapiro Wilks e Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Al??m da an??lise de vari??ncia em caso de normalidade e Kruskal Wallis onde n??o houve normalidade. O estudo foi aprovado pelo Comit?? de ??tica da Universidade Cat??lica de Bras??lia sob o n??mero 1.086.406. Resultados: A massa corporal, a estatura, o indice de massa corporale o percentual de gordura dos meninos e das meninas apresentaram diferen??as significativas quando comparamos os tr??s momentos do estudo. Estas variaveis apresentaram tend??ncia secular positiva, principalemtne quando comparamos os anos 1990 e o ano de 2015. Os resultados tamb??m mostram que quando comparados com tabelas referenciais para as idades e sexo a maioria est??o classificados em niveis insatisfat??rios. As vari??veis flexibilidade e salto horizontal apresentaram tendencia secular negativa, demonstrando uma piora de resultados ao longo do tempo. Tamb??m houve piora na variavel agilidade que apresentou tendencia secular positiva. Verificou-se que os meninos da amostra est??o iniciando mais cedo o processo de matura????o sexual do que as meninas. Os meninos apresentaram melhor desempenho em todos os est??gios de matura????o sexual, exceto para a variavel flexibilidade, onde as meninas foram melhores. Conclus??es: Numa an??lise qualitativa, os resultados de tendencia secular tanto de crescimento f??sico quanto de desempenho motor dos meninos e meninas apresentaram resultados piores quando comparamos o primeiro momento do estudo (anos 1990) com o momento atual (2015). Sugere-se uma aten????o muito grande aos objetivos das aulas de Educa????o F??sica a Escola P??blica e uma supervis??o pedag??gica aos professores que ministram esta disciplina.
