A utopia no horizonte da música nova / The utopy in the new music´s horizon

Soares, Teresinha Rodrigues Prada 17 April 2006 (has links)
Esse trabalho relata a identidade desses propósitos, tendo como objetos de estudo o Festival Música Nova e o Curso Latinoamericano de Música Contemporânea / There are many texts about music action, it means canção de protesto, facing military dictatorships on the 1970s from Brazil and Latin America. However, it has been forgotten that classical music also has confronted serious problems and has made a kind of resistance against establishment. Are exchange rate-based stabilisations expansionary? Theoretical considerations and the Brazilian case.

Wehinger, Gert D. January 1997 (has links) (PDF)
High inflation economies, especially the Latin American cases like Argentina and Brazil, have ultimately been successful in stabilising their prices using the exchange rate as a nominal anchor. Contrary to conventional wisdom inflation in these cases has not been reduced at the cost of temporary recessions, instead, they have shown positive output effects. Various theoretical explanations of such boom-cycles are discussed and a model generating such an outcome is developed. Some empirical evidence is given by the Brazilian "Real Plan" of 1994. Nevertheless, the medium and long-term effects of such programmes can result in recessions and a resumption of high inflation, although the cases show that such "postponed stabilisation costs" can be overcome by adequate and flexible supply-side policies accompanying the stabilisation programme. Brazilská zahraniční politika 2. pol. 20. století / Brazilian Foreign Policy in the second half of 20th Century

Pelant, Matyáš January 2016 (has links)
This thesis analyzes Brazilian Foreign Policy in the second half of twentieth century. The case study on relations between Czechoslovakia and Brazil during the Cold War is the core of the dissertation. The study is based on unpublished materials from Czech archives. The case study is preceded by two sections: first one deals with tradition and development of Brazilian foreign policy, describes the forming of Brazil-US special relationship and the positions of Brazil in the international politics. Second chapter defines key milestones of the Brazilian Foreign Policy in the second half of 20th century for the purposes of the case study and for better understanding of the context. It focuses on relationship with Eastern Bloc, United States and Western Europe. The chapter is divided into six periods. Same periodization is then used for the case study. A chapter on the tradition of relations between Czechoslovakia and Brazil before 1945 and a chapter on the Czechoslovak intelligence service activities in Brazil are added to the case study. The case study primarily deals with political and trade relations. The case study shows us that the trade was crucial for upholding the relations. Both countries not only stood against each other in the Cold War setting, but Czechoslovakia actively supported the opposition...
