Siekiama ištirti alaus bravoro veiklos aplinkybes, įmonės įtaką miestui ir jo gyventojams. / The purpose of the work: to perform historical analysis of one of the largest in past industrial breweries in Lithuania – Prienai brewery. The aim of the work is to explore the brewery business considerations and business impact to Prienai city and its residents.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal a proposta de um método para gestão de resíduos nas cervejarias do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Para isto, o trabalho se propõe a: (i) identificar as alternativas apontadas na literatura para reciclagem de resíduos em cervejarias; (ii) identificar, através de uma pesquisa exploratória, práticas já implementadas atualmente na indústria cervejeira do estado do Rio Grande do Sul e; (iii) priorizar as alternativas de reciclagem de resíduos identificadas. A metodologia de pesquisa utilizada é o Design Science Research sendo este a base para as etapas desenvolvidas no trabalho. O método de gestão de resíduos é apresentado e descrito para que as cervejarias executem a gestão de seus resíduos, incluindo-se proporções geradas, alternativas para a reciclagem e também uma possibilidade de retorno financeiro sobre a venda dos mesmos. Uma das principais contribuições desta tese foi criar um passo a passo para que novas cervejarias e também as já existentes no mercado do Rio Grande do Sul possam gerenciar seus resíduos de forma estruturada, buscando, ao invés do descarte inconsciente dos mesmos, a agregação de valor, o retorno financeiro e a preservação do meio ambiente. / This work has as main objective to purpose a waste management method at Rio Grande do Sul's breweries. As secundary objectives, it defines: (i) to identify the alternatives showed on the literature to breweries waste recycling; (ii) to identify, through an exploratory research, the practices that has already be implemented at the beer industry in Rio Grande do Sul and; (iii) to priorize the identified recycling alternatives. The research methotology applied is the Design Science Research, being it the basis to the steps developed in this work. The waste management method is presented and described aiming that the breweries start its waste management, including quantities, recycling alternatives and also a pay-back related to the wastes selling. One of this tesis mainly contributions was to create a step by step method to new and already running breweries in Rio Grande do Sul manage its wastes as an structured way, searching, instead of an anaware disposal, add value, obtain financial returns and to safeguard the environment.

The purpose of this thesis is to calculate the market value of Královský pivovar Krušovice a.s. Appraisal does not contain theoretic and practical parts but it consists of strategic and financial analysis, analysis of value drivers, financial plan and valuation.

To create strategic (external and internal) analysis of Pivovar Ježek Jihlava is main goal of thesis. After this analysis to formulate strategy for future development of this company.

This diploma thesis deals with the valuation of company Pivovar Litovel a.s. (a Czech brewery) at the 1st January 2010. During years 2008 and 2009 there was an offer made by the international brewery group Heineken, to buy Pivovar Litovel a.s. along with the other 2 breweries in PMS Přerov group . The offer however, was with no further explanation rejected by the main shareholder - PMS Přerov. Therefore the purpose of this diploma thesis is to determine the value which would have been offered for Pivovar Litovel a.s. at the 1st January 2010 by Heineken group and, using new data, to find out, wheather this action was or was not beneficial from the financial point of view.

This thesis deals with the financial analysis of the selected company from the perspective of an external analyst. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical section describes the methods and procedures for financial analysis. The practical part of the financial analysis of the selected company and the evaluation of the found results, including recommendations. It also includes intercompany evaluation. In the final part of the overall evaluation of the results of the financial analysis.

This Master's thesis deals with the evaluation of the performance of the company Měšťanský pivovar Polička, a. s. In the first part of this thesis are executed its theoretical resources and subsequently, in the second part, is accomplished an evaluation of the company by using of benchmarking techniques. The company Měšťanský pivovar Polička, a. s. is compared with four competing companies by using of financial analysis methods - method of vertical and horizontal analyses and method of financial ratios. In the concluding part are proposed strategical modifications in the company for its better performance.

This diploma thesis aims to outline the possibilities of refurbishment of former brewery in Prostejov from 1897. The thesis includes stages of realisation. It describes demolitions of objects unsuitable for conversion, new access to the area with pedestrian bridge over Hloucela river and gradual integration of the area into the city life to the rest of the city. In the area of the former brewery there are 4 buildings left from the former ones – main building of the brewery, stables, bottling plant and the former owner’s villa. The thesis includes the refurbishment of three of them. The villa remains unchanged and is used as an apartment house as today. The coworking center, multifunctional hall, bistro, shopping arcade, office spaces, six housing units, sports hall and kindergarten are gradually newly implemented to the area. The project aims to create place for living, working and leisure activities at the same time which would be suitable for wide range of people.
