Zend Framework / Zend Framework

The diploma thesis compares first and second version of the PHP framework Zend Framework. It examines framework architecture and technology changes that were brought about by its second version released stable in September 2012. It demonstrates the changes using a practical example application and evaluates them by a set of diverse criteria. The introductory part of the thesis characterizes and classifies web frameworks and determines their place among other software frameworks. In the subsequent part the thesis looks into fundamental characteristics and history of Zend Framework and puts it into its place among web frameworks based on their previous classification. The practical part, that represents the majority of thesis, demonstrates the differences between the first and the second version of Zend Framework using the example application, starting with framework installation and configuration, describing its architecture and ending with evaluation of its speed and security.

In the third part, the thesis deals with the analysis of the current situation and the last part proposes possible solutions, which should lead to improvement of the current state.

Modeling and Charging Control of a Lithium Ion Battery System for Solar Panels

The advancement in solar panel and battery technology makes them useful for energy supply and storage. This thesis involves the modeling and charging control of a lithium ion battery system for solar panels. The proposed model is based on the parameters and characteristics of a realistic battery and solar panel system; and the hybrid control approach combines the advantages of the adaptive incremental conductance method and the perturb and observe method to track the maximum power point of the solar panel for charging the battery unit. Computer simulation results demonstrate that this proposed approach offers a faster convergence rate than the adaptive incremental conductance method, and less steady-state error than the perturb and observe method.

This master’s thesis deals with the design and optimization of the quadrotor stabilization control. The basic physical properties and technical aspects of this specific device are illustrated using the NANOKOPTER platform. Dedicated mathematical model of quadrotor was implemented in MATLAB/Simulink environment to emulate the behavior and characteristics of real quadrotor. Based on this model a feasible method of stabilization control by means of state controller was conceived and developed. The proposed solution utilizing state controller was incorporated into the stabilization control procedures of the NANOKOPTER testing platform and its functionality successfully verified during field trials.

After analysis of system were decided to used fuzzy controller. Fuzzy controller in comparison with classic PI controller has better behavior in this application.

My thesis deals with leading a machine of controlling to the company which enterprises in building and repairing roads and motorways. Concept of controlling isn´t still very used in the Czech Republic that´s why in the introdusing part I´m devotiny to definition and terms when it can work effectively. The second part of my thesis contains introdusing and evolutoin of the company, analysis of the present condition of conrtolling activities and deviding the costs of the firm. In the last part I´m analysing the lack of control to claiming costs and I´m proposing to lead a new position of controller, his taking part in the orgaization structure and then to create a new controlling department.

The dissertation deals with requirements, analysis, description and integration of Single Sign-On solution based on SPNEGO/Kerberos protocol. The thesis provides an overview of the Single Sign-On basic principles and concepts and deals with the Kerberos authentication mechanism in more detail. After introducing the fundaments of the Kerberos protocol, its terminology and common implementations, attention is focused on the services and settings of Microsoft Kerberos implementation in Windows 2000/2003 environment. An authentication solution demonstration is performed on J2EE platform using the authentication filter and plug-in. The thesis also includes a brief overview of integrating the Single Sign-On solution into different architectures of corporate information systems and describes the implementation process of this solution. In conclusion, the usability of Kerberos Single Sign-On solution in today's business sector is analysed.
