'n RGO : tutoriaal vir die fasilitering van graad 1 : leerlinge se begrip van christelik-morele waardesWissing, Gerrit-Jan January 1998 (has links)
As we speed towards the new millennium, developments in technology have reached previously
unimaginable heights. The appearance of the personal computer has brought about change in
almost every area of life.
Yet, in the area of education, and especially in the area of Bible Education for young children, the
computer has not really made a significant impact. In this study, an attempt was made to utilize the
features of computer assisted education in the moral, religious and spiritual education of young
children or pupils.
A computer based tutorial was developed for use in a programme of Christian moral education of
young children by their parents and teachers. A pilot study was then done by exposing a small group
of children to this tutorial. The process of designing this tutorial, the research procedure and the
results of this research were documented.
Conclusions from the study, as well as recommendations for further research, concludes this
document. / Dissertation (MSc)--University of Pretoria, 1998. / Humanities Education / MEd / Unrestricted

Vliv tlaku v komoře vzorku na podmínky diferenciálního čerpání / Influence of pressure in the specimen chamber to the conditions of the differential pumpingPlaczek, Roman January 2010 (has links)
The paper primarily outlines fundamental issues of electron microscopy. The paper follows with analysing pumping of gas into EREM sample chambers at various pressure levels by using SolidWorks Flow Simulation in SolidWorks system. The results of analyses are assessed with respect to requirements so that the pressure in the track of primarily electrons is as low as possible with the view to reduce probability of its scattering.

Attribution Standardization for Integrated Concurrent EngineeringBaker, Tyson J. 30 June 2005 (has links) (PDF)
Product design is a creative process, often subject to rapid and numerous design change requirements. To facilitate geometric redesign iterations, Parametric Computer-Aided Design CAD) systems were introduced. To manage the numerous product design iterations produced by parametric CAD systems, Product Data Management (PDM) systems were developed to capture, document, and manage each product revision. PDM has proved effective thus far at managing design history. However, PDM is built upon database management systems (DBMS), which have the capability of doing far more than simply managing product revision history. Product data consists not only of the physical geometry used to describe it, but also of a host of non-geometric data. This non-geometric data is referred to as attributes. Examples of attributes include material properties, boundary conditions, finite element mesh information, manufacturing operations, assembly operations, cost, etc. Downstream Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) applications apply attributes to (preprocess) the geometry to perform their respective operations. These attributes are not permanently associated with the geometry and may have to be recreated each time the geometry changes. Preprocessing for highly complex CAE analyses can sometimes require weeks of effort. An attribution method is presented which addresses the creation, storage, and management issues facing attributes in the CAD and CAE environments. The research conducted explores the use of database management systems for defining, instantiating, and managing attributes in the CAD environment. Downstream CAE applications may then retrieve the attributes from the DBMS to automate preprocessing. The attribution system results in standardized attribute definitions, which forms the basis for communicating attributes universally among different downstream CAE applications.

The Abaqus/CAE Plug-in for Premium Threaded connection 3D parameter Finite Element ModelYan, Kaidi 22 June 2017 (has links)
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is proposed to simulate the connection response of practical in-service conditions and test the performance of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) premium threaded connections. A plug-in is developed in Abaqus/CAE for creating the 360-degree full 3D parametric finite element model with helical threads as an effective design and analysis tool. All size, position and material data of the model are parameterized. The premium connection plug-in accepts input from the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for further modification. Each premium connection component is programed as a collection of single-purpose independent functions organized as an independent module in order to allow users to modify specific function behavior conveniently. A main program is designed as an Abaqus kernel plug-in to achieve all the functions by calling these independent functions, making the plug-in flexible. Each single script file is not too long to jeopardize readability. The GUI of the plug-in is designed with proper layout arrangement and illustrations to make the plug-in user-friendly and easy to use. The premium connection FE model is used in a virtual test to validate the model against the ISO 13679 test protocol and is used to develop the seal metrics for points on the ISO 13679 sealability envelope. The plug-in can be used to develop and evaluate the design envelope of the premium connection. / Master of Science / Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) refers to a specific kind of steel tube used in the oil and gas industry--following the specifications set by the American Petroleum Institute (API). As the drilling of the modern oil well goes deeper, the extremely high temperatures and pressures require better quality oil tubes and connections. The drill pipe, connected by Premium Connections, are designed and tested carefully in order to avoid any possible environmental pollution or financial loss resulting from technical failures. Physical testing of each design takes time and costs a lot. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is proposed to simulate the connection response of practical in-service conditions and test the performance of OCTG premium threaded connections. Full 360-degree 3D finite element models are the most complete representation of premium threaded connections. A plug-in is developed in Abaqus/CAE for creating the finite element model with helical threads as an effective design and analysis tool. The plug-in can be used to develop and evaluate the design envelope of the premium connection.

Teamcenter Simulation Process ManagementRunge, Torsten, Narendra, Kondragunda 18 July 2018 (has links)
Manage your simulation processes, data, tools and workflows The pressure to shorten time-to-market while improving product performance and quality is driving the increased use of simulation throughout the product lifecycle. However, without some form of simulation data management, simulation itself can become a process bottleneck. The Teamcenter simulation process management solution has been specifically designed to help you get control of your simulation data and processes in the context of an overall product lifecycle management (PLM) system. With Teamcenter, you can avoid common problems such as analyses being performed on obsolete data, poor visibility to simulation results, and results arriving too late to influence design direction. You can efficiently manage and share complex product simulations so they are available to all product decision-makers across your business.
