Defesa: Curitiba, 03/08/2017 / Inclui referências : f. 123-125 / Resumo: O presente trabalho busca analisar a obra afro-brasileira Oboé (2014), do escritor Oswaldo de Camargo, observando como esta narrativa apresenta uma reflexão sobre memória e identidade, trazendo uma estética que surge na encruzilhada entre memória e esquecimento. Oboé apresenta o relato memorialista de um músico negro octogenário que resgata suas velhas lembranças a fim de refletir sobre sua identidade enquanto negro que, ao relacionar-se com migrantes alemães e aprender a tocar o instrumento oboé, tem acesso a um espaço predominantemente branco que contrasta com a ancestralidade negra do narrador. Nesse relato se mesclam ficção, dados históricos e fatos da vida do autor, apresentando-se assim tensões entre imaginação e memória, ficção e biografia. Desse modo, o presente trabalho buscará compreender inicialmente o modo como esta obra faz parte da literatura afro-brasileira, partindo das reflexões de autores como Eduardo de Assis Duarte, Zilá Bernd e Maria Nazareth Fonseca, sobre o tema. Em seguida, se observarão as indagações relacionadas à memória e identidade, tanto individual quanto coletiva, bem como essas questões se configuram em uma narrativa de caráter subjetivo. Para tais análises serão utilizados os estudos sobre memória de pesquisadores como Paul Ricoeur, Aleida Assman e Marcelo Halbwachs, e também as reflexões de pesquisadoras como Beatriz Sarlo e Diana Klinger sobre literaturas subjetivas que se voltam para o passado. Palavras-chave: literatura afro-brasileira; literatura negra; memória; identidade. / Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze how Oswaldo de Camargo's Afro-Brazilian narrative Oboé (2014) presents a reflection over memory and identity building an aesthetics which rises from the intersection of memory and forgetfulness. Oboé embodies an octogenarian musician's memoirist report who recovers his old memories to reflect over his own afro identity while his interaction with German migrant, during the learning process of playing the musical instrument oboe, in a massively Caucasian context, contrasts with his African heritage. Fiction, historiography and the author's life events are intertwined in a tension between imagination and memory, fiction and biography. Thereby, it will be necessary, initially, to understand how this narrative integrates African-Brazilian literature according to Eduardo de Assis Duarte, Zilá Bernd and Maria Nazareth Fonseca's propositions over this topic. Furthermore, formulations about memory and identity, individual or collective, will be shown to illustrate how they emerge in a subjective narrative. For these analysis, studies about memory from Paul Ricoeur, Aleida Assman and Marcelo Halbwachs, just as Beatriz Sarlo and Diana Klinger's concepts over subjective literatures which draw back to the past will path the way of the present study. The objective is to investigate the black enunciate'I' and evaluate the way the novel genre may contribute for its fictional construction. The problematics is as such: in which way the historic theme related to the Afro-Brazilian literature reveals itself as a structural contribution for the construction of the esthetic of the novel A descoberta do frio (The discovery of the cold)? Which are the historical-cultural elements that are highlightedin the constitution of the novel integrated to the esthetic of the author based on the paradigms of Afro-Brazilian Literature? The answers we have reached were by means of the hypothesis that the literature of enunciation was favored by a way to narrate that is contemporaneous and descriptive. It contributes to demonstrate the incompleteness and the silence inserted in the enunciate, as spaces reconfiguring the historical past revisited by the narrator's conscience in the narrative present, between what was said and unsaid, once justified by the metaphor of the "poetic of the cold". The investigation regarding the African-Brazilian “enunciated I” was supported by research conducted on the authors and following subthemes: “the- I-who-wants-to-be-black, by Zilá Bernd (1988); the esthetic construction of the novel genre, by the authors Massaud Moisés (1983), Stalloni (2001) and Aubrit (2002); the historical question concerning the classifications of black-Brazilian literature and African-Brazilian literature supported by Zilá Bernd (1988), Eduardo de Assis Duarte (2011), Maria Nazareth Soares Fonseca (2011); and Luiz Silva Cuti (2010); besides the contributions of Bakhtin that justify the presence of hetero speech in the novel (2015) / Esta dissertação propõe-se a analisar e interpretar a obra A descoberta do frio (2011), novela inaugural de Oswaldo de Camargo. O objetivo é investigar o 'eu' enunciativo negro e avaliar a maneira como a estética do gênero novela pode contribuir para a sua construção literária. A problemática assim se descreve: Em que medida a temática histórica relacionada à literatura negro-brasileira revela-se uma contribuição estrutural para a construção ficcional da novela A descoberta do frio? Quais são os elementos histórico-culturais que se destacam na constituição da novela em integração à estética camarguiana com base nos paradigmas da Literatura Negra? A resposta alcançada por meio da hipótese descreve a leitura da enunciação concretizada por um modo de narrar ficcional descritivo, que contribuiu para demonstrar a incompletude e o silêncio inscritos no enunciado, como espaços reconfiguradores do passado histórico revisitados pela consciência do narrador no presente narrativo, entre o dito e o não-dito, uma vez justificado pela metáfora da "poética do frio". A investigação a respeito do eu enunciativo negro apoiou-se nos autores e subtemas seguintes:o eu-que-quer-ser-negro, por Zilá Bernd (1988); a construção estética do gênero novelesco, pelos autores Massaud Moisés (1983), Stalloni (2001) e Aubrit (2002); a questão histórica referente às nomenclaturas literatura negro-brasileira e literatura afro-brasileira sustentadas por Zilá Bernd (1988), Eduardo de Assis Duarte (2011), Maria Nazareth Soares Fonseca (2011); e Luiz Silva Cuti (2010); além das contribuições de Bakhtin que justificaram a presença do heterodiscurso no romance (2015)

Interessa-nos interpretar o modo como esse autor se inseriu em diferentes organizações negras, entre os anos de 1950 e 1980. Além disso, estudamos seu livro de contos O Carro do Êxito (1972). Essa obra de ficção é central para o desenvolvimento de projetos literários negros de grande importância, na segunda metade do século XX. Para compor nosso quadro analítico, nos referenciamos em autores como Pierre Bourdieu, Nobert Elias, Antonio Candido e Eric Auerbach, entre outros / Abstract: The dissertation has as an objective to examine the relationship between life and work of the Oswaldo de Camargo, a journalist, musician, poetry, fictionist and researcher of black Brazilian literature. We are interested in interpreting the way of the author had joined different black organizations between 1950 and 1980. In addition, we analyzed his short story book O Carro do Êxito (1972). This book is important to analyze the development of black Brazilian literary projects in the second half of the twentieth century.
