An Analysis for The Present Development and The Strategical Improvement of Taiwan Free Trade Zone

Abstract Because of the trend of globalization and liberalization, every enterprise has actively developed the operation model for their global expansion in order to raise their competitive advantage. In the supply chains of international enterprises, there are a lot of serious competitions which are not just between company and company, but between country and country as well. Every country in the world has legislated the special law which is to give some special areas and eliminate the obstructers which would hold back activities of multinational from internal enterprises in order to satisfy with the demands from all multinationals in the world. Currently, there are about two thousands to five thousands free trade zones or the trade zones that are similar to free trade zones in the world, and they have turned into a very important circulation core and transaction core for international trade. On July 23, 2003 Taiwan was published the operation statute and the operation order of free trade zone by our president. After that, its related accessory schemes have established continually, and amply expanded their utilities. Because of that, this situation has helped free trade zone to have successfully performed its strength and to have assisted to break the predicament of industry development. Currently, In Taiwan, although it has five free trade zones that are Kaohsiung Port, Keelung Port, Taipei Port, Taichung Port and Taoyuan Airport Cargo Terminal, are stationed by eighteen manufacturers, the result of the operation has not reached our expectation. However, this research would be focused on the manufacturers¡¦ satisfaction with the recent standard of free trade zone. The result of this research which is gotten by information collection and data analysis shows the recent statutes and regulations of free trade zone should be revised the following issues: 1. Cancel the regulation of 5% aborigine employment limitation. 2. Simplify the transiting customs formalities and autonomous management methods. 3. Abolish employment regulation of the foreign labors` salary which must to conform to the basic salary regulation. 4. Loosen restrictions on business scope in free trade zone for mainlander. However, there is a suggestion which is our government would need to revise the related statutes and the regulations as quickly as possible in order to operate free trade zone successfully! . Magistro darbe yra išanalizuoti ir susisteminti logistikos sampratos, funkcijų, procesų, investicinio projekto bei krovinių terminalo naudos, efektyvumo ir rizikos klausimai teoriniu aspektu. Atlikta savivaldybės įmonės Šiaulių oro uostas 2006–2012 metų finansinių rodiklių balanso dinamikos, struktūros bei santykinių rodiklių analizė. Aptarti įmonės veiklos rezultatai pagal veikos kryptis bei nustatyta perspektyviausia kryptis plėtrai. Pateiktas krovinių terminalo investicinio projekto vertinimas. / In this Master's degree work is analyzed and organized the concept of logistics, it's functions, processes, investment project, and the benefits of cargo terminal, efficiency and risk issues in theoretical terms. Moreover, it also covers municipal enterprise Siauliai airport financial indicators of the balance of dynamics, structure and ratio analysis for 2006–2012 years period. Also, it discusses about the companys activity rezults and guides to the most promising direction for development. This work also includes cargo terminal investment project evaluation.

Concepção, métodos construtivos e dimensionamento de terminais para contêineres. / Conception, construction methods and design of containers terminal.

O presente trabalho pretende mostrar, as principais etapas de projeto de uma obra portuária, mais especificamente, um terminal de contêineres (cais e retroárea). Para tanto, foi feita uma pesquisa dos tipos estruturais existentes para entender melhor a evolução das estruturas ao longo do tempo e quais tipos adequam-se melhor em cada situação. Para cada função a que o porto se destina, existe um conjunto de ações e combinações muito particulares a considerar. Assim, um terminal de contêineres é muito diferente de um terminal petroleiro. Portanto, procurou-se mostrar os tipos de carregamentos mais importantes num terminal de contêineres, que é objeto deste trabalho, levando-se em conta critérios das Normas NBR-9782 e NBR-8681. Outro fator de grande peso nos projetos portuários e que não poderia ficar de fora, está ligado às fundações, principalmente aos problemas geotécnicos envolvidos. Para tanto, procurou-se dar uma visão geral dos principais problemas até hoje encontrados e comentar algumas soluções em cada caso. Por fim, foi proposto um método de modelagem simplificado para um tipo estrutural muito utilizado hoje em dia (sistema de lajes e vigas premoldadas solidarizadas apoiadas sobre estacas) através de um conjunto de modelos planos e um modelo espacial de checagem. / The present paper intends to show the main stages of port design, particularly, a container terminal (quay and back area). Therefore, it was done a research about the current structures types so it can be better to understand the development process of these structures during the years and which types are more appropriate to each condition. For each function of the port there are particulars actions and combinations to consider. However, a container terminal is very different from a petroleum one. Therefore, it intended to show the most important types from a container terminal, which is the aim of this research, considering the NBR-9782 and NBR-8681 rules recommendations. Another important fact, which has to be mentioned, is about the foundations, especially those related to geotechnical issues involved. Therefore, it was intended to present a general view of the main problems found so far and discuss some solutions for each case. Finally, it was suggested a method to model a kind of structure very used nowadays (a marble slab system and premolded beams settled over piles) through a group of model plans a checking space model.

Based on this premise, this study sought to point out the economic potential and the challenges encountered in the new air terminal in Goiânia, Goiás state, opened in the year 2016. In addition, addressed the relationship between logistics and the means of transport, particularly air transport, the importance of airport infrastructure efficiently to the dynamics of the market, as well as the relationship between the airport of Goiânia and regional development. It was verified that: even with the inauguration of the new terminal, there was no significant increase in the volume of cargo transported; the base of the economy in Goiás depends fundamentally on the road and rail modes, with the exception of pharmaceutical and automotive industries, which use the air service; and the proximity to Brasília hinders investment and development in the sector, as it is not economically viable to two poles nearby. / Analisar meios de transporte é fundamental para a compreensão acerca da formação dos grandes centros urbanos e o desenvolvimento econômico local, regional e nacional. Com base nessa premissa, o presente estudo buscou apontar as potencialidades econômicas e os desafios encontrados no novo terminal aéreo de Goiânia, estado de Goiás, inaugurado no ano de 2016. Diante disso, abordou-se a relação entre a logística e os meios de transporte, em especial o aéreo, a importância de uma infraestrutura aeroportuária eficiente para a dinâmica de mercado, bem como a relação entre o aeroporto de Goiânia e o desenvolvimento regional. Constatou-se que: mesmo com a inauguração do novo terminal, não houve aumento significativo no volume de cargas transportadas; a base da economia em Goiás depende fundamentalmente dos modais rodoviário e ferroviário, com exceção das indústrias farmacêutica e automobilística, que utilizam o serviço aéreo; e a proximidade com Brasília dificulta investimentos e desenvolvimento no setor, visto não ser economicamente viável dois polos próximos

Provoz a rozvoj letiště Záhřeb / Traffic and development of airport Zagreb

The aim of this master's thesis is to analyse the project Zagreb Airport Cargo City. Project Zagreb Airport Cargo City deals with the building of the new cargo terminal at airport Zagreb Pleso. The theoretical part describes the country and characteristics of the transport sectors in the country, which aims mainly to cargo transport and its concern. The next part deals with detailed description of the whole project Zagreb Airport Cargo City. There are also mentioned statistics in this part, that are very important to introduce the whole project in the most comprehensive way, because there is not any similar project like this one. At the end of this part is mentioned the current situation of the project. Last chapter contains the practical part. There is a SWOT analysis of the whole project. Based on this analysis, the project is evaluated. As a part of the practical part are also the analysis of possibility of future development.
