The main purpose of this work is to show the existence of the Eilenberg- Maclaneþs complexes, or K(G, n)-spaces (as they are usually called), for an arbitrary group G if n = 1, and G abelian, if n = 2. Such spaces play a very important role in Algebraic Topology, mainly in the connection between homotopy and (co)homology.
