No. of bitstreams: 1 Willian Gonçalves Ferreira.pdf: 1004817 bytes, checksum: a382b47012b6e2c9ca8432adf0fe2de1 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2018-02-07 / This report publishes discloses the importance of comprehensive child protection and part of a diverse hypothesis based on the analysis of children's artistic work and the practice of sport by children and adolescents. While some forms of child labor strike the eyes and cause indignation and perplexity, others run under the eye of admiration and are still encouraged by society. The research covered some labor relations and peculiarities about the worst forms of child labor and the effects of nullities in this field, ending with the prescription. In the following moment, the performance of the child-youth artist in the advertising, entertainment and fashion segment was analyzed. This is one of the most controversial issues among law enforcement and law enforcement agencies that deal with child and adolescent rights advocacy. The research method consisted in the critical revision of the doctrine tangent to the theme, in the primary sources of the labor constitutional law, of the related jurisprudential collection, of the foreign legislation and of the documents published by the International Organizations. The result appears in the media and in society in general. If some are against the authorization of the participation of children and adolescents in this type of activity, arguing that many young artists suffer psychological and social damages in the work environment, others understand that artistic work is a right of the child and the adolescent and that can be exercised in accordance with the principle of integral protection. In compliance with the constitutional norm, there is a public policy to promote youth sports training, through which individuals are stimulated by the State, including through fiscal incentives, to provide adolescent athletes with adequate physical and personal the permanent and competitive practice of sport. Thus, it is necessary to analyze the provisions of the national legislation that regulate sport in its various modalities, as well as the foundations that govern the requirement of the integral protection of the child / O presente trabalho divulga a pesquisa que adotou como objeto central a aplicabilidade da proteção integral infantil como sendo o atributo imprescindível para efetivação dos direitos fundamentais para assegurar à criança e ao adolescente todas as oportunidades e facilidades, com vista a lhes permitir o desenvolvimento físico, mental, moral, espiritual e social.

A sociolinguistic exploration of the pedagogical value of children's oral art forms on a kaleidoscopic cultural terrain: a case of Shona

Nyoni, Tsitsi 06 1900 (has links)
Text in English / The study is a sociolinguistic exploration of the pedagogical value of Shona children’s oral art forms on a changing cultural terrain to situate them within contemporary classroom pedagogy. Critical Discourse Analysis, Afrocentricity and Constructivism are theories that informed the analysis of the Shona children’s oral art forms. The study is conducted within the qualitative paradigm as a descriptive study. Data was gathered through observartions, standardised open-ended interviews, focus group interviews, questionnaires and document analysis. The study established that Shona children’s oral art forms have responded positively to the changing environment in which they are performed in terms of form and content. While this is a positive development, this should be done with caution to ensure that indigenous knowledge systems that are the backbone of African societies are not abused on the global stage. The study has also affirmed that Shona children’s oral art forms are useful pedagogical tools for information dissemination and knowledge creation. It is also evident from the findings that the oral art forms are an embodiment of human factor values that enhance development education. Findings from this study established that Shona children’s oral art forms are reservoirs of values and norms cherished by the Shona as a people and can be reconstructed for teaching various concepts across the primary school curriculum. Evident from this study is that both teachers and learners are knowledgeable of the various traditional Shona children’s oral art forms although new creations are coined to adapt to the changing environment. This shows that the traditional forms are able to withstand the challenges of globalisation, and this resilience is a positive development since it creates an opportunity for researchers to document these in their unadulterated form for posterity. Since findings from the study highlighted threats to the children’s oral art forms due to the advent of technology and globalisation, there is need to act so that they are not pushed to the periphery as was the case during the colonial era. There is need for concerted efforts at packaging them and meaningful infusion of these into all aspects of children’s education for visibility within the changing environment to guard against their demise in an era of globalisation which may impact negatively on the Shona culture. / Linguistics and Modern Languages / Ph.
