Implanta??o e gest?o da inclus?o digital utilizando tecnologias da informa??o e comunica??o na sociedade: estudo de caso

It also looks at data collected to reflexively analyze the results of the project of social equality promotion by digital inclusion, planned and funded as an Extension Project by the Institui??o de Ensino Superior UniFOA. Thus, it sets out to investigate the situation of social inequality suffered by the Brazilian lower classes based on the analysis of the major determinants of such situation, defining the so-called Information Society and approaching its meaning and importance in the current scientific and technological Brazilian context. Based on the results of the investigation, it analyzes the present-day situation of digital exclusion, pointing out the undesirable consequences that Brazil may have to face in case the country does not follow the international patterns of competition and commercial marketing observed in leading companies in the modern world scenario. Reflecting upon the economical, social and political consequences of the work versus job dialectic, it presents the importance of promoting digital inclusion and social equality, as a result of a consequent of a wider access to better work conditions and of the establishment of more symmetrical financial and power relations. Eventually it looks at the outcomes of the Projeto Rede Solidariedade do UniFOA , analyzing data presented by the participants to evaluate the achieved results. / O presente trabalho discute a situa??o de exclus?o social em que se encontra a popula??o brasileira e a necessidade de se promover de forma imediata e contundente a inclus?o dessa parcela da sociedade e, ainda, faz uma analise reflexiva dos dados recolhidos sobre o desempenho do projeto de inclus?o social, pela inclus?o digital, oferecido e operacionalizado como Projeto de Extens?o, pela Institui??o de Ensino Superior UniFOA. Dessa forma, contextualiza a situa??o de exclus?o social em que se encontra uma parcela consider?vel da popula??o brasileira, a partir dos fatores determinantes que levam a essa a??o, buscando definir o que alguns autores chamam de Sociedade da Informa??o, com o seu significado e a import?ncia que o momento cient?fico e tecnol?gico representa para o Brasil. A partir dessa contextualiza??o, busca o entendimento do que pode significar a exclus?o digital e os reflexos que poder?o advir se o Brasil n?o se enquadrar nos novos padr?es de competi??o e de concorr?ncia em que se encontram as empresas no cen?rio mundial. A partir de uma reflex?o acerca do significado social, pol?tico e econ?mico do bin?mio trabalho x emprego, discorre sobre a import?ncia da busca da inclus?o digital, como forma de promover a inclus?o social, com o objetivo de oportunizar melhores condi??es de trabalho e promover uma melhor distribui??o de renda da qual participem as popula??es mais carentes e necessitadas. Essa problem?tica motivou a realiza??o de uma pesquisa qualitativa sobre os desafios encontrados por professores desses cursos na condu??o, acompanhamento e avalia??o de projetos colaborativos de desenvolvimento de software. Dentre os desafios identificados, destacam-se as dificuldades para acompanhar e avaliar a participa??o dos alunos em projetos acad?micos. Nesse contexto, uma segunda pesquisa de natureza quantitativa foi realizada com o objetivo mapear habilidades transversais dos alunos a um conjunto de indicadores que podem ser extra?dos a partir de reposit?rios de software usando t?cnicas de minera??o de dados. Tais indicadores visam auxiliar o professor no acompanhamento de habilidades transversais, tais como: a participa??o no trabalho em equipe, a lideran?a, resolu??o de problemas e o ritmo de comunica??o durante projetos. Para isto, uma abordagem de avalia??o por pares foi aplicada em uma turma de desenvolvimento colaborativo do curso de Engenharia de Software da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Essa pesquisa apresenta um estudo de correla??o entre os scores das habilidades transversais dos alunos e os indicadores baseados na minera??o de reposit?rios de software. O objetivo da pesquisa ? melhorar a compreens?o das din?micas de trabalho em projetos colaborativos de estudantes, assim como incentivar o desenvolvimento de habilidades transversais que s?o exigidas pela ind?stria de desenvolvimento de software. / Soft skills and teamwork practices were identi ed as the main de ciencies of recent graduates in computer courses. This issue led to a realization of a qualitative research aimed at investigating the challenges faced by professors of those courses in conducting, monitoring and assessing collaborative software development projects. Di erent challenges were reported by teachers, including di culties in the assessment of students both in the collective and individual levels. In this context, a quantitative research was conducted with the aim to map soft skill of students to a set of indicators that can be extracted from software repositories using data mining techniques. These indicators are aimed at measuring soft skills, such as teamwork, leadership, problem solving and the pace of communication. Then, a peer assessment approach was applied in a collaborative software development course of the software engineering major at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). This research presents a correlation study between the students' soft skills scores and indicators based on mining software repositories. This study contributes: (i) in the presentation of professors' perception of the di culties and opportunities for improving management and monitoring practices in collaborative software development projects; (ii) in investigating relationships between soft skills and activities performed by students using software repositories; (iii) in encouraging the development of soft skills and the use of software repositories among software engineering students; (iv) in contributing to the state of the art of three important areas of software engineering, namely software engineering education, educational data mining and human aspects of software engineering.

This is due by the fact they are not teaching only basic computers tools, but also computer science fundaments and how they can be applied in their daily life. In Brazil, there is practically no computer science education in schools. With the aim of motivate the insertion of computing science in Brazil?s basic education, this work presents several teaching and learning tools for computer programming. It discusses how these tools can help students to develop characteristics and knowledge desirable, for their own programing skills and also in their interdisciplinary. An analysis is performed on the characteristics of two tools: Blockly and App Inventor. In addition, their usage examples are provided. It also shows a reflection on the importance of developing the student critical and logical thinking using programming logics inserted in schools. It was proposed in this dissertation the development of a platform that brings together the main tools and guides students and teachers on how to use them. This work aims to contribute to school, students and teachers, presenting teaching tools which interacts with children and teenagers, in order to provide fun and stimulate curiosity.

The dissertation focus on information and knowledge representation, investigate the match and differential points between documentary languages, available in Information Science and markup languages, developed and used in Computer Science, with the objective of identify actions, theories and necessary processes for a bigger integration between the two areas. For this, it is established a revision of the necessary basic elements to the representation of the information and knowledge in the scope of the Information Science. To become possible the comparison between areas, consecrated knowledge and information representation models available in Information Science are presented, such as metadates, thesaurus and ontologies. In the scope of the Internet, the techniques of representation with the use of markup languages more used are presented and its contributions for the development of the Web Semantics. It is locked in presenting a proposal of structure of representation for information resources, especially developed for the Internet. The proposal was developed from the existing resources in the Computer Science, particularly, its available in language XML. It contemplates the definition of a ontology and culminates with the creation of a structure in XML to store metadates of electronic articles. / A Ci?ncia da Informa??o vem estudando formas de representa??o da informa??o e do conhecimento visando a recupera??o da informa??o. Esta pesquisa tem seu foco na representa??o do conhecimento e da informa??o, procurando investigar quais s?o os pontos convergentes e divergentes entre as linguagens document?rias da Ci?ncia da Informa??o e as linguagens de marca??o desenvolvidas e utilizadas na Ci?ncia da Computa??o, tendo em vista identificar as a??es, teorias e processos necess?rios para uma maior integra??o entre as duas ?reas. Para isso, faz-se uma revis?o dos elementos fundamentais necess?rios a represental??o da informa??o e do conhecimento no ?mbito da Ci?ncia da Informa??o.
