Whereas education in Human Rights is present in Brazilian universities and, as well, as in other countries, a research in the academic literature was made in order to verify spaces in which Human Rights education occurs and how it occurs. The diagnosis of this research is that university lacks a space or forum where teaching, research and outreach are integrated. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with coordinators of Human Rights spaces in five Brazilian universities to identify the similarities and differences between their views and activities. This study reachs the conclusion that a Human Rights Clinic that fulfills, at least, seven requirements (1. commitment to Social Justice; 2. participatory methodology ; 3. articulation of theory and practice on Human Rights; 4. integration of teaching, research and outreach activities; 5. interdisciplinary approach ; 6. institutionalization and recognition in the university ; 7. targeted in university public) can be a space that ensures effective Human Rights education for Law Schools in Brazil / O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar um espaço complementar, nos cursos jurídicos brasileiros, para a formação do estudante de Direito, de graduação ou pós-graduação, que promova a integração entre ensino, pesquisa e extensão e articule a teoria com a prática dos Direitos Humanos de forma interdisciplinar. Considerando que a educação em Direitos Humanos está presente nas universidades brasileiras e também em outros países, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica para verificar os espaços onde esta educação acontece e de que forma ela ocorre. Diagnosticou-se um problema que é a falta de um espaço universitário que contemple os pressupostos acima mencionados. Entrevistas semiestruturadas foram realizadas com coordenadores de espaços de Direitos Humanos de cinco universidades brasileiras a fim de identificar as aproximações e diferenças entre suas concepções e atividades. Verificou-se que uma clínica de Direitos Humanos que contemple, pelo menos, sete pressupostos (1. compromisso com a Justiça Social; 2. metodologia participativa; 3. articulação da teoria com a prática dos Direitos Humanos; 4. integração das atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão; 5. enfoque interdisciplinar; 6. institucionalização formal e reconhecimento na Universidade; 7. público-alvo universitário) pode ser um espaço que garanta uma educação em Direitos Humanos eficaz para os cursos jurídicos no Brasil
