Ström- och temperaturkontroll / Current and Temperature Control

Swingberg, Peter, Rydberg, Robin January 2012 (has links)
Storing kinetic energy in a flywheel allows for more efficient driving of electricvehicles. Research in this area is in progress at Uppsala University, where a flywheelwith magnetic bearings encased in a vacuum chamber is being constructed. To makethis possible methods for measuring the current through the electromagnets in thebearings and temperatures in the flywheel need to be developed. This has been thepurpose of this report. The current measurement resulted in a resistive method, andthe implementation of eight measurement circuits in the system. A circuit board foramplifying the measuring signals were constructed. The temperature measurementresulted in IR sensors for non-contact measurement and thermocouples for the fixedmeasuring points. Two circuit boards were constructed for amplification of themeasuring signals. Programming of a test program in the graphical programming toolLabVIEW were made for the different systems. Testing of the systems showed goodresults for both the current and temperature measurement.

Implantação do Controlador Preditivo Multivariável DMC Numa Planta Piloto

PEREIRA, R. P. A. 21 November 2011 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-02T00:00:52Z (GMT).

Návrh dataloggeru provozních dat výrobního stroje / Design of datalogger for production machine

Gazda, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
This thesis describes the design of the data datalogger for collecting the operating data of the machine tool. Dataloggers and data acquisition systems are used in scientific research as well as in the industry for recording and analyzing large amounts of data. The control unit of the proposed system is the National Instruments CompactRIO platform. System software is created in the LabVIEW programming environment and uses both the FPGA circuit and the real-time processor of the control unit. Measured data are stored on the unit and in the database. The measurement status is reported via email.

CompactRIO modul pro řízení servomotoru / CompactRIO module for servomotor control

Macek, Daniel January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with the description of PMSM and BLDC motors as well as the way of their control. In addition, the thesis deals with the description of the instruments of National Instruments, DAQ, CompactRIO and PXI. The details of the user module's production in the CompactRIO device, both hardware and software, are specified in the paper. The following is a description of the proposed CompactRIO module.

Vlastnosti systému reálného času v LabVIEW / Features real-time operating system for LabVIEW

Válek, Petr January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with certain properties of real time operating systems (RTOS) Ardence PharLap ETS, WindRiver VxWorks and LabVIEW RT module. Three methodologies of RTOS quality comparison are proposed, two of which are practically tested with described experiments on CompactRIO hardware from NI. Furthermore, there is explained need for RTOS usage and experimental comparison of jitter error influence on total harmonic distortion THD defined by two definitions.

Implementation of a Pump Control System for a Wheel Loader Application / Implementation av styrsystem för pumpstyrning i en hjullastare

Gunnarsson, Daniel, Strid, Emanuel January 2007 (has links)

A lot of today’s new developments strive for energy efficiency. This includes the hydraulic side of industry. The Division of Fluid andMechanical Engineering Systems of Linköpings University in collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment in Eskilstuna has developed a newhydraulic concept when it comes to the control of cylinder loads in a wheel loader. The concept differs from today’s application, where the cylinderload is controlled via a valve, in the way that the load is solely controlled by a pump. To control this system, an electrical feed back of operatorsdemanded signal is needed. These signals have to be correctly interpreted so that valve and the pumps perform the requested operation. The newsystem is going to need a unit that can perform these operations in a way that corresponds to the operating level of today’s hydraulically controlledsystem. The study aims to develop a software platform that solves this. This platform shall, besides performing the operators’ demands, monitor the system. The monitoring of the system is a crucial part because of security issues, but also when analyzing the systems functionality. The implementation ofthis software will be done in a real-time computer with the ability to collect data, interpret it and then control the connected units of the system.Further work that is to be done is an energy consumption study of today’s hydraulic system, and on the basis of this study, theoretically evaluate thenew system. The study has resulted in a great insight of an industrial mechanic machine, this in a level that includes an entire system. The wide range of thistask has brought analysis and development of both hydraul mechanical-, electrical- and software related systems. With an understanding of these, both separate and in interaction with each other, a platform has been designed that shall facilitate the forthcoming development of energy efficienthydraulics, both at VCE and LiTH.
