Para alcanzar tal fin, se describirá la arquitectura tradicional de los STIs, se delinearán teorías de aprendizaje e instruccionales que provean el marco conceptual a estos sistemas y se presentarán herramientas de diseño. Asimismo, se analizarán las características principales de estos sistemas, focalizando el problema de su adaptación a los estudiantes.
