Defesa: Curitiba, 14/03/2016 / Inclui referências : f. 194-201 / Resumo: Este trabalho de dissertação analisa os processos comunicativos que haitianos residentes em Curitiba (capital do Estado do Paraná) estabelecem entre si e a sociedade, buscando responder como tais processos contribuem na reconstrução identitária destes sujeitos migrantes no novo território. O campo de análise da pesquisa privilegiou a atuação das organizações de apoio aos migrantes, ao partir do pressuposto que elas desempenham um papel fundamental na consecução desta reconstrução. Para realizar esta análise foi fundamental empreender um percurso etnográfico junto a essas organizações e junto a um grupo de haitianos que circulam em tais espaços e, posteriormente, fazer entrevistas com representantes destes segmentos, a fim de compor um trajeto metodológico à luz da Hermenêutica de Profundidade, apresentada por Thompson (2011). Contudo, para a realização desta abordagem hermenêutica, foi necessária a construção de um contexto teórico de caráter sócio-histórico, mas que tem nas características culturais um ponto nevrálgico frente à relação dos novos fluxos humanos pelo globo. Neste sentido, a pesquisa inicia-se teoricamente com a reflexão dos processos de globalização no mundo contemporâneo, pela perspectiva das minorais culturais e suas construções identitárias e passa, em outro capítulo, por uma contextualização histórica e sociológica de processos migratórios no Brasil, Paraná, Curitiba e no próprio Haiti. Entre esses dois capítulos, estabelece-se, como um corte na organização textual, mas que é ao mesmo tempo um marco de ligação entre as vias teóricas e metodológicas, o momento comunicacional, uma vez que são objeto dessa dissertação as práticas comunicativas dos haitianos em Curitiba, entendendo a comunicação desde a ideia de processo de interação social na sociedade midiatizada. Com isso, a pesquisa também busca responder se as práticas comunicativas desses migrantes são práticas midiatizadas. Buscou-se dar as respostas às questões propostas em um momento reinterpretativo, a partir do viés qualitativo da pesquisa em questão. Ao final, pode-se concluir, de forma ampla, que as organizações de apoio demarcam um importante locus de reconhecimento identitário, assim como os processos de midiatização emergem nas interações dos haitianos que vivem em Curitiba por meio de novas sociabilidades e modos de ser migrante. / Abstract: This thesis analyzes the communicative processes that Haitians living in Curitiba (Paraná state capital) establish among themselves and the society, seeking to answer how these processes contribute to the identity reconstruction of those migrants subjects in the new territory. The analysis field research focused the work of organizations supporting migrants, in assuming that they make a key role in achieving this reconstruction. To perform this analysis was essential to undertake an ethnographic route with these organizations and with a group of Haitians moving in such spaces and then conduct interviews with representatives of these segments in order to compose a methodological path under the light of Hermeneutics of Depth, by Thompson (2011). However, for the realization of this hermeneutical approach, was necessary the construction of a theoretical context with a socio-historical bias, but that has in the cultural characteristics a neuralgic point when compared to the new human flows across the globe. Therefore, the research theory starts with the reflection of the processes of globalization in the contemporary world, from the perspective of cultural minorities and their identity constructions and passes, in another chapter, by a historical and sociological context of migration processes in Brazil, Paraná, Curitiba and in Haiti itself. Between these two chapters, it is established - as a cut in the textual organization, but also as a connecting mark between the theoretical and methodological way - the communication point, since the subject of this thesis is the communicative practices of Haitians at Curitiba, understanding the communication from the idea of social interaction process in a mediatic society. Thus, the research also seeks to respond if the communicative practices of these migrants are mediatized practice. The search also sought to give answers to questions posed in a re-interpretative moment, from the qualitative bias of the research in question. Lastly, it concluded, broadly, that supporting organizations demarcate an important identity recognition locus, as the mediatization coverage processes emerge in the interactions of the Haitians living at Curitiba through new sociability and ways of being a migrant.
