Lastkapacitet hos murar byggda med C3C blocksystem -översvämningslaster / Load capacity for walls built with C3C block system –flooding loads

Blomberg, Johan, Sörgårn, Alfred January 2021 (has links)
Floods are the natural disaster that causes the most deaths and economic damage in the world. Sweden has been relatively spared from casualties in connection with floods, but the material damage is significant. In the future, larger and more frequent floods are expected. It is therefore interesting to study new protection barriers with higher capacity. C3C Engineering AB is a Växjö-based company that manufactures concrete blocks according to the lego principle out of waste concrete. In 2021, C3C has 99 production sites spread around Sweden. In the study, four models of stacking C3Cblock® were analyzed. The aim of the study was to produce calculation materials that can be used for stacking and placing C3Cblock® for flood protections. To calculate the capacity of the models, three horizontal loads were assumed to act on the stacking: static water pressure, hydrodynamic water pressure and floating debris load. In the study, four interviews with experts in the flood area were conducted. The interviews provided an insight into how experts at the relevant authorities view Sweden's preparedness, management, planning against floods and which criteria for protection barriers are considered important. The results from the study show that the C3Cblock® largely manage the water velocities and water heights that the authority for protection and preparedness maps for. The work also shows that the impact of floating debris has a relatively small effect compared to the hydrodynamic and hydrostatic water load. As the calculation set-up has been in ideal conditions, it is important when using the C3Cblock® for flood prevention purposes to have knowledge of terrain conditions such as base material and ground slope.

Příspěvek k realizaci nákladově a energeticky úsporných rodinných domů / Contribution to the construction of cost and energy efficient family houses

Čech, Josef Unknown Date (has links)
Dissertation focuses on the verification of construction family houses made of concrete shell block with internal thermal insulation system. The construction technology is transferred to the Czech Republic from France. The work focuses on building envelope. The suitability of implementation is assessed on the basis of verification selected thermal technical requirements placed on building envelope. Requirements are specified by legislation in force in the ČR. The verification was performed by using software simulations and measurements on realized buildings. Critical areas of construction technology were identified on the basis software simulations and measurements on site. It was suggested solution, in which critical areas comply the thermal technical requirements. The building envelope was checked also using the thermography imaging on site. Continuous measurement of interior temperature was used to evaluate thermal comfort in the room. In the completed buildings was tested airtightness of the building envelope, which revealed other critical areas of the building envelope. Critical areas are necessary to solve with sufficient care. The economic cost of implementing each variants of exterior walls made of concrete shell block with internal thermal insulation were compared with the economic costs of implementing external walls made of burnt clay hollow blocks and made of burnt clay hollow blocks with external thermal insulation system ETICS. Subsequently, the economic return was calculated for individual variants of external walls made of concrete shell blocks with internal thermal insulation. From the environmental viewpoint was made comparison of production greenhouse gas CO2 and SO2 (cause acid rains) during the life cycle of the individual variations of exterior walls made of concrete shell blocks with system of internal thermal insulation, exterior walls made of burnt clay hollow blocks and burnt clay hollow blocks with external thermal insulation syst

Polyfunkční dům / Mixed-use building

Hort, Martin January 2020 (has links)
Diploma thesis describes the design and processing of project documentation of the multifunctional building. The multifunctional building is located in the central part of the town Náměšť nad Oslavou. The building has 4 floors. It is partly cellared building with flat roof and walkable terraces. This building is consisted of 2 functional parts, the first part is designed for living and the second one is designed for contact with the customer. There are shops and offices. The first floor is wheelchair accessible. In the basement there is a technical background of the building and cellars for housing units. In this multifunctional building we can find 13 residential units and five offices. All of the floors are connected with staircase and lift. The Carpark and the private garden with playground are also part of this residential area. This building is based on concrete blocks. Load-bearing, peripheral walls and connecting walls are made of ceramic blocks. A monolitic ceiling construction is the combination of the iron and the concrete. Two types of insulation are used in peripheral walls. The first one is called ETICS, external thermal insulation composite system, made of polystyrene. The second type of insulation is facade cladding system where the main insulation layer is made of mineral wool. The insulation layer is replaced by XPS polystyrene where facade is in contact with the ground. Facade cladding panels are made of cement and wood fibers called Cembrit.
