For this purpose, a project was carried out for children aged 3 to 5 years in two rooms: one room in each institution and both with 25 students. The institutions are partners of the project, which belongs to a wider research called: "Panoramas of childhood and adolescence: a phenomenological study on psychoeducational actions in institutions." The research is part of the ECOFAM group (Research Group on Educational Practices and Family School and Community Psychoeducational Attention,) and has primarily the intention of approaching and creating spaces for the emergence of a dialogue between the University and the Community. The knowledge derived from such a meeting enables the University to rethink its practices, the systematization of data and its publication. For the Community, the insertion of the University allows a new reading, and especially, new actions that help in facing the issues and conflicts of everyday life. After telling six stories, two reflective interviews were made, one with each educator, in order to understand the senses that are revealed in the activity of storytelling in a CEI. The research has a qualitative character, occurs in the interventional scope and its foundations are based on the phenomenological thought / O presente trabalho é uma proposta de investigação sobre o sentido e os desdobramentos que se revelam em um projeto de contação de Estórias em dois Centros de Educação Infantil (CEI). Para tanto, foi implementado um projeto de contação de Estórias para crianças de 3 a 5 anos em duas salas, uma em cada instituição e ambas com 25 alunos. As instituições são parceiras do projeto, que por sua vez pertence a uma pesquisa mais ampla denominada Panoramas da infância e da adolescência: um estudo fenomenológico sobre ações psicoeducativas em instituições. A pesquisa faz parte do grupo ECOFAM (Grupo de Pesquisa em Práticas Educativas e Atenção Psicoeducacional à Família, Escola e Comunidade) e tem primordialmente a intenção de aproximar e criar espaços para o surgimento de um diálogo entre a Universidade e a Comunidade. Os saberes derivados de tal encontro possibilitam para a Universidade o repensar de suas práticas, a sistematização de dados e sua publicação. Para a Comunidade, a inserção da Universidade possibilita uma nova leitura, e principalmente, novas ações que auxiliam no enfrentamento das questões e conflitos cotidianos. Após o conto de seis Estórias, foram feitas duas entrevistas reflexivas, uma com cada educadora, para se compreender os sentidos que se revelam na atividade de contar Estórias em um CEI.
